When Louis was running things, the service was great. Louis always took great care, called back with information, possible options and what each option would cost, and excellent advice. The prices were more than fair. Since Louis' retirement though all that great service seems to be out the window. Not a happy situation. I no longer owe the car that I am still paying off the $6,700 motor replacement on my Audi. I had sold the car to a coworker he drove it not much. The car started to over heat so he took out to Autobahn. They told him it would be $6,500 dollars to fix it. This is the same amount from what I had paid. Without a doubt the best place to get your foreign car serviced. They are honest, fair and do a great job. I found them to be significantly less than the dealership but same parts and quality. I have a late model Audi, which I truly love. I've been taking my car to these guys for a couple of years now and they have always provided great service and very fair rates. Having an older car, I appreciate their willingness to diagnose problems and develop a sort of priority and timeline for dealing with them. After all, this is a twelve year old car. Recently, my car developed a severe oil leak. I was actually out of town and took it to another shop. They were unable to diagnose the problem - or rather they told me something that turned out to be wrong. I took the car into Autobahn and they spent a ton of time diagnosing the problem. At first it looked minor, and then it looked major, and then it turned out to be something else entirely. They spent a ton of time making sure that I didn't spend unnecessary money fixing the car and in reality, paying them for repairs that I didn't need. Great service. Great outcome. This place is a joke... I bought a VW from my mom that was exclusively serviced by these clowns and Ive spent the last 2 weeks cleaning up their messes.. They were running the wrong oil in the car amongst other things.. And the most brilliant thing: They installed the transmission filter incorrectly and when I had my GOOD mechanic change it he found the old one laying in the bottom of the pan... Im lucky this car is even running let alone in good shape... On top of it all their prices are the same if not more then the dealer... Before that I knew the owner from his last employment and followed him when he set up his own shop. They charge top dollar and do top quality work. If you want it done correctly, cleanly, and at the time they promise, I am very comfortable recommending them. After many attempts to repair it and my paying them $713.09, they say they don't know how to repair it, and no, I cannot get a refund.
