The employees have never sat in the office and gossiped about anything. The front desk girl is very nice and friendly and does talk to you but she is not gossiping. The quality of the services they provide and the prices can't be beat. Anytime I bring my car in for a specific issue they fix it. I've never been given the run around or felt like I was being taken advantage of as a female. A lot of mechanics take advantage of women and try to charge us more thinking we don't know any better but this place doesn't do that. I was taking my car to Vandevere and paying 100.00 for an oil change when Ken's charges me 45.00 for the same service. Also it takes them maybe half an hour versus three hours at the dealer. You can't please everyone but this place has way more positive reviews than negative and I definitely recommend taking your vehicle here.

Instead of providing an estimate, a mechanic hijacked my car and began violently smashing my suspension with a sledgehammer and I was informed I have fresh torch marks on my suspension n looked like someone put a new axel on car without my knowledge I specifically told Steve n the two women in front office and the mechanic several times I was there for an estimate only they all continued to ignore me it was absolutely rotten I was only there for an estimate n now my car is completely inoperable. I was told I have two bent tie rods leaking bushings That mechanic has rendering my steering completely unsafe and the vehicle entirely inoperable. Shockingly, they let me drive out of the shop in this lethal condition, completely endangering my life. A police report has been filed for criminal property damage, and the case is being sent to the prosecutor. They will destroy your vehicle without your consent. Stay far away!I have an alignment sheet at 11:41 showing she aligned my car without my permission n I told her she is not to work on my car she refused to stop made comment that's between you n himn then they give me repair order for a tie rod totaling $1359.59 at 1:16 So why is the mechanic driving it after bent tie rod is found hours later My car has over $3000.00 dollars in damage now. That mechanic left my lights on entire time causing my computer to glitch we could not get lights off. Fast forward three months, and my brakes are now completely worn out and need to be replaced. They also somehow missed a nail in my tire, even though I'd been having to constantly top it off because it was losing air. I trusted that my car had been properly inspected when I brought it in, so it's extremely frustrating to find out that both issues were overlooked. Between receiving horrible treatment and service for a damaged air conditioning condenser to their mechanic not tightening the cap to my coolant during and oil change and causing my engine to overheat....and still waiting on confirmation I will be reimbursed for the tow (I rejected the offer for free oil changes to make up the tow expense ) I cannot wait to be done with VanDevere and Kia. Biting the bullet, eating the negative equity, and buying a Honda. After several weeks, still waiting to hear on the refund for my tow. I've reached out a few times with no reply.

Email stated someone would be in contact with me in one business day to 25 hours. 2 days later no reply. I called the 3rd day and asked about my appointment I put in for an they had no answer as to why no one contacted me. No big deal I get it. My problem is with the next part of this story. I set an appointment over the phone, show up for appointment. They had the tires I requested in stock at a fair price. I asked for an alignment since I always get an alignment with any new set of tires. I get informed my truck is done and ready. Awesome, the guy rights up the work order an I pay the bill. The full bill for tires and the alignment. After which I get informed that they couldn't do the alignment an that I need ball joints and rear control arms. This would of been very important info to have before paying. Now they have to refund me my money for the alignment they could not be performed. I'm asked next if I would like a price quote for the repairs. At this point absolutely not. You can't inform me before finishing my vehicle that I need repairs an that you can't do the alignment? But you'll gladly charge me for it before reviewing your paper work. Needless to say I left livid. Once cooled off I walked around the truck at home to inspect the tires. Found all four my wheel covers destroyed, scratches, and cracks! You can see where they over tighten the outer wheel balancing nut into my rims and completely ruined all 4 of my rims. Unbelievable!!! I absolutely can not believe this place gets away with this kind of work. I've heard very high things about them. All of which is a lie. Stay far away from this place if you value your vehicle.

Then their dude did a one half ass hour look into it , told me it was done. I picked up my car after being 2 weeks at the shop, one hour to look at it , nothin wrong with it. Come n get it. Som bichin tire cracked off the arm ON THE WAY HOME!!! almost crashed. People pulled over to check on me. It was Trump/ Bidens 3rd debate that night. cold as f. dark . I waited 3 hours for a tow. Progressive told me to tow it to Marhoffer Collision. They replaced arm, tie rod, gimpy cracked part of the inner wheel. Replaced the entire wheel, tire, damaged lines. And Progressive paid for a loaner . 4 days later my car was done well, and right. Now Mike gave me honest advice. He said my car was rotting out and i should get my car to not pass the emissions testing, so i would only have to pay $.300.00 to fix my problem. Otherwise id have to pay a huge amount ....and i appreciated that. Until my tire cracked off in heavy traffic at 430pm on Darrow Rd.

The estimate was reasonable and they could repair my truck in just a few days. The actual cost ended up being much less than the estimate! It only took them a day to do the work. In addition I had just bought wipers but did not install them before taking the truck to the shop. I got a call asking if they could install the wipers!
