Still taking my car here two years later. I don't really understand the negative reviews I've seen…read morebecause I have never experienced any kind of unprofessionalism from this place. The employees have never sat in the office and gossiped about anything. The front desk girl is very nice and friendly and does talk to you but she is not gossiping. The quality of the services they provide and the prices can't be beat. Anytime I bring my car in for a specific issue they fix it. I've never been given the run around or felt like I was being taken advantage of as a female. A lot of mechanics take advantage of women and try to charge us more thinking we don't know any better but this place doesn't do that. I was taking my car to Vandevere and paying 100.00 for an oil change when Ken's charges me 45.00 for the same service. Also it takes them maybe half an hour versus three hours at the dealer. You can't please everyone but this place has way more positive reviews than negative and I definitely recommend taking your vehicle here.

I had the work done paid $330 and drove away but the rattle was still loud. They told me they dont know maybe struts but I knew it wasn't. I bought sway bar end links and control arm to have them installed. Another $300 to fix the rattle but of course it was still there. I then took it to Tallmadge Auto/Tire and they told me immediately it was the hub bearings and that Market muffler didn't even tighten the axle nut it was completely off. Mind you Ray the mechanic told me the car was good and ready to drive to south carolina! On top on their incompetence they were rude and dismissive and their mistake could have cost my life or at least catastrophic damage to my vehicle! Never take your car here if you value your life and your money!

The diagnostic didn't tell them anymore than my.own tester did, so they were grabbing at straws to figure out what was wrong. My engine light has been on for the past couple weeks still and the car has a rough idle. Was told to bring it back in if light goes back on. Sad that my old mechanic shut down. We have a newborn and a 2 year old with us, we picked Jim's based on other reviews and we're glad we went there. My husband took the car back first thing in the morning when they opened and they had it fixed within 2 hours. The staff were all friendly and helpful, let my husband see how bad the wheel bearing looked and the price was more than fair considering the urgency of the situation.
