But I was very wrong.....Carlos was so nice and talked to me just as much as my husband. He pulled up the record of the truck and let me go through it. He answered all my 1000 questions and didn't pause once. The F&I guy Tony was also amazing! I work with F&I guys all day and Tony was not pushy and he explained everything. If you're like me you dread car buying - because let's be real dealerships are usually in it for themselves. I went into this with a closed mind- I was not going to like my salesman. I was pleasantly surprised that my mind was changed. Jason, Jr and Tony are PHENOMENAL!! Never once did we feel pressured to purchase that day - lots of different options on the lot and they will get you into something you want and that you can afford. After our excursion from an hour away they appraised our trade in vehicle all while we test drove a couple new trucks. They presented numbers and worked the numbers again to get us into a price we were comfortable with paying. who wants to hear a new review after i just posted a 5 star review then the engine blows up on my truck ? Well again outstanding job by auto villa alex and tony are the best in the best !!!! lets start with saying if you buy a car with high milage you have to keep good care of it , ( i did not ). If you dont check the oil and the engine blows its your fault !! if you dont make your payments and it gets reposesed its your fault !!. Drove to Auto Villa in McHenry to purchase a 2018 GMC Sierra K1500 that we saw on the internet and everyone there were so cordial and really went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted. We purchased the truck and were happy campers. Unfortunately, the following Saturday, the starter failed and I called Auto Villa to see what we could do. Well, Tony sent a tow truck and took it back to McHenry (we live in Chicago by Midway Airport). They replaced the starter and delivered the truck back to us at NO COST in 3 days. I don't know of any other dealer who would go that far to please a customer, but I guarantee you that if I'm ever in the market for another vehicle, you can bet it will be from Auto Villa. I am shocked at the negative reviews, I had an excellent experience. I don't have the best credit and had NO down payment but went in with a what the hell let's see what happens attitude. The location in McHenry, I believe is now separate from the Fox Lake location, was excellent! My sales person was Josh and also worked with the manager Tony. They were as helpful as it could get, they didn't just push me towards whatever, they looked at my income and credit and provided advice so I wouldn't get in over my head. They worked with me on the down payment, I bought the car in November, so it's been about 90 days I've had not one issue. I was able to get a car I didn't think I'd ever own without feeling like I was forced into anything. My interest rate was high, but that is my fault not the dealership's. read more

My husband and I took our son to Auto Villa to look for a truck. While we were there I came across a 2017 Durango that I feel in love with. I ended up purchasing the vehicle from Carlos and it was the easiest, fastest buying process I've ever experienced. I was also very happy with Carlos and his manager. Many car dealers try to play number games, back and forth, back and forth and it's a complete turn off to me. At Auto Villa there was none of that. Had a great car buying experience here. John Belcher was my sales man. Very professional but also a laid back guy making a big purchase less stressful. Found exactly the truck I wanted for a price I was comfortable with. It was a rainy day so I requested to pull into the shop to look everything over and to my surprise they made space for me right away and let me in. About a month ago I bought a 2011 GMC Terrain from Josh Q at this location. Josh went out of his way to find me the perfect car my family was looking for!!
