Jake is amazing! My…read morefirst car buying experience, 5 years ago, was miserable. I was a 19 year old girl who had no idea what she was doing, and that was surely taken advantage of (extremely high interest rate, paid much more than the car was worth, drove off the lot with an empty gas tank and bald tires- and I had no idea anything was wrong). So, I walked in the doors of Buss Ford last week with great caution. I was so scared that history would repeat itself. I was incredibly wrong! Buss Ford treated me like one of their own, like my opinion mattered. They had MY best interest in mind, which is nearly impossible to find these days. Drew and Dave initially helped me. I was very picky and set on what I wanted. They took my wants and needs into consideration and began our search. They took the time to research the BEST options for me, asking me what I liked or didn't like. We compared multiple models- used, new, base model, bells and whistles. We looked at so many different Ford Fusions- I couldn't believe how different one could be from another! Then Jake stepped in and assisted me in physically looking at my dream car- I have been looking at this car for nearly two years now. He explained every part of the car- he went through all the buttons and touch screen things, cool features, etc for me. I am surprised he didn't lose patience with me- I know I can be a lot to handle! Finally, we made the sale. I received so many incentives and 0% interest... I felt like it was too good to be true! I definitely got my "bang" for my "buck". Even my dad couldn't believe how lucky I was! After the sale was made, I figured that would be the end of my contact with Jake, my salesman. NOPE! He has answered every single question I have sent him since that day, very promptly. He is so helpful! We got remote start installed, ordered custom weather mats, and much more. Plus my first oil change is free! He even assisted me days later on connecting my bluetooth and learning the manual/automatic shifter. He went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. I highly recommend this dealership to all of my friends, family, and neighbors. GO TO BUSS FORD. AND ASK FOR JAKE!

Unfortunately, after multiple visits, I feel comfortable saying the issues have been consistent enough to share. I've brought my pickup truck here several times for warranty and recall work. One of my biggest frustrations involved warranty repairs they claimed would not be covered and attempted to charge me regular mechanic rates for. I declined the work, took the truck to another local repair shop, and they were able to complete the repair under warranty without an issue. I also had recall work completed here where the actual issue was technically fixed, but the quality of the work was disappointing. Ever since the repair, grease comes out around the window frame every time I roll the window up or down. It's frustrating to have new problems after bringing a vehicle in for service. I genuinely wish I could leave a better review because they are a longtime community business, but based on my experiences, I would not recommend buying a vehicle here or using their service department.

The background: I'm a veteran of buying vehicles from out of…read morestate, as I've done so my entire life, covering about a dozen cars. I know the tricks and I know the pitfalls. I found the car I was looking for and so reached out to Castle Kia to discuss. The beginning: I had an excellent time with communications between the numerous (and I mean numerous) customer service reps and sales people during the first couple of days when working out a deal. They were very responsive and we managed to find a workable number for all parties. I'm not easily impressed, but in this case I truly was. The middle: Here's where things went down the path of "oh yeah, used car dealership. Where have we heard this one before?" Right before it was time to seal the deal, the GM, Jordan Suchowski, started playing games with the final price, working every angle to try and squeeze a few hundred more dollars out of me, eventually insinuating a "take it or leave it" demeanor. Given the car was the exact one I wanted, I chose to eat the three hundred and move on with my life. Things went really badly when I flew in to O'Hare and found myself stranded at the airport: Jordan didn't bother to tell my final salesperson to pick me up. After a few phone calls to the dealership, each escalating in tone to get someone to pick me up, they found my final salesman (I'd gone through no less than 4 people during the transaction) and ordered him to get in a vehicle and come get me. Nice. Customer. Service. My sales guy was apologetic, but he got thrown under the bus by his bosses, and did anyone from the corner offices reach out to me to apologize for leaving me at the airport for two hours? You can guess the answer to that. The end: Having never received my plates from my county, I finally called them only to learn they'd reached out to Castle more than once to let them know they hadn't provided enough money to my county for the plates. Only after I called and chewed on a couple of people at Castle did they send in the rest of the funds, resulting in me getting my plates two months after my temp tags had expired. The summary: You'll often have headaches dealing with the low-level sales people. That wasn't the case here; they were great. The folks above them dropped the ball in a bad way more than once. Clearly, I won't be going back, and the 4000+ members of the country club I run have all been told this story. Jordan and team: A quick 60-second apology call goes a long way when you leave a customer hanging at an airport, and when financial mistakes were made which left the customer driving dirty without proper tags, an apology is absolutely in order. You could have avoided this review by taking a few extra moments out of your day. Best of luck in the future.

They seem to have little to no understanding of customer satisfaction and appear to thrive on selling cars with preexisting issues. When you contact them to address these problems, it becomes clear that their true intent is to profit from your misfortune. They are well-versed in their legal rights and clearly know how to exploit them, walking the fine line of what they can get away with. Promises made during the sale quickly turn out to be empty, leaving you feeling deceived and powerless. The behavior of the individuals I dealt with, specifically H**di and Jo*, was deeply unprofessional and outright disrespectful. Instead of addressing concerns, they resorted to projecting their insecurities onto me as a customer--calling themselves "pieces of sh*t," hanging up mid-conversation, and even handing the phone to other "customers" to insult me. There's also a potential violation of two-party consent laws, as they may have recorded conversations without my knowledge or agreement. They later attempted to use these recordings as a form of intimidation, which is completely unacceptable. (The last statement is alleged, but I do know that they decided to let to me know, mid-conversation, that they are recording our conversation. And you think this is an internal system....it's not. It was done on a personal cell phone). This business epitomizes every negative stereotype about "used car salesmen." If there were a negative star rating, this dealership would deserve it. They prey on customers, overcharge for their products, and deliver some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and financial loss. Take your business elsewhere.

I decided to stop by and look at the cars they had for sale, but I had a really tight budget, so hard to work around. Ray, the owner, walked me through a couple of the options they had remotely close to my price range, and one of them was a new acquisition that they had just got in. Ray was honest with me and told me he would not sell me that car before he made sure it was completely safe. He went above and beyond to fix everything that car needed fixed in the least amount of time possible, and even more, and he showed me all the receipts for everything. I cannot say how much I appreciate everything he has done for me. I just got into the country, I work as an intern at a local business, and I really needed a safe car to get around. He gave me an amazing deal and the opportunity to work with my payments, because he understood my situation, and took a huge leap of faith with me. I can't recommend this business enough. My recent service experience with Castle Subaru was the worst I've ever had at a car dealership,…read moreand as a result I will never patronize them for service or any new car purchase in the future. I took my Forester to Castle for an out-of-warranty quality issue that Subaru of America (SOA) had already committed to cover prior to my visit. SOA had issued a case number and advised me to take it to any Subaru dealer, provide the case number, and, after confirmation of diagnosis, SOA would approve making the repair at no cost (they assured that any dealer service cost in these cases is handled directly and internally). My mother recommended Castle after having purchased from them multiple vehicles and having them always serviced there. My subsequent service visit at Castle failed profoundly in 3 ways: 1. Long wait without update. I dropped off the car at the appointment time (10:30 a.m.) and was told to expect diagnosis around noon. A loaner car was not offered. Having not heard from the service rep by 4:00 p.m., I finally called and, after a series of holds, was told an email was being sent with a list of "critical repair items" that would need to be addressed urgently. 2. Unnecessary "critical" service items. There was no dialogue with me about the items, and all were marked "critical" in red, totaling about $5,000. One of the sizable items was for a 90K mile service. My car is only at 85K and I drive it about 3,000 miles per year. A visit to another dealer later confirmed none of the items was critical nor necessary at this time. 3. Mishandling the quality issue I brought to have serviced in the first place. The diagnosis was made, but the service manager Brian H. insisted that if I wanted the work done, I would need to pay for the $700 repair myself and pursue a refund with SOA on my own. Though I tried to explain what SOA had advised me, he demonstrated no empathy, refused to follow up with SOA directly, and insisted that only he had the authority to make a "goodwill" repair--something he adamantly refused since I was a new customer. My follow up with SOA the next day confirmed that this was wrong. SOA apologized for my experience with Castle and assured that the customer should never have to hassle with multiple silos within the company organization. I left Castle without having any work done and took it to another Subaru dealer a few days later. That experience was completely different: I was provided a loaner vehicle without asking; multiple follow ups were provided to me on the progress of the repair; I was assured it would be fully covered ("don't worry, we handle this directly with SOA"); and confirmation was made that no other maintenance items were "critical." I truly felt like I was being welcomed into a new family, even though I had never been to that other dealer before. My experience with Castle on the other hand resulted not only in the loss of my potential future service business, but also ended my mom's long-time service and new car-purchase patronage with Castle as well.
