The "diagnosis" amounted to briefly checking and SMELLING the gas cap, yet we were charged $150 for that alone. Afterward, we were told we owed an additional $75 that had not been clearly discussed upfront. When we questioned the extra charge, we were told the balance could be sent to collections, which felt unnecessarily aggressive given the situation. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency around pricing and what services were actually being performed. If you do choose to work with them, I highly recommend getting a detailed quote in writing before agreeing to anything. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful time. So disappointing. EDIT: Sent threats and called me names after leaving this review... Screenshots attached. Saw his reply To this post, we sent $75 before you came and $75 after you showed up. That would be $150. I don't know if I caught these guys on a bad day or two, however I brought my vehicle in with an…read moreissue with the O2 sensors, I brought my own parts and the first time my wife brought it in and they only supposedly changed 3 of the 4 sensors and charged her $200, so I bring it in on the weekend myself with the other sensor and explained the issue and they take it in to repair the other O2 sensor and while waiting three other customers come in with a return service so I knew something was wrong then! After one hour they bring my vehicle out and said they changed the other sensor but there's more problems lol My vehicle now has all kinds of codes, and I needed to bring it back later on in the week and charged me $60. I went home cleared the other codes with my scanner, waited a week of driving and the only code that came back was for the O2 sensor, took it to another shop and low and behold it was one O2 sensor that was the problem & cost me more money, so please stay away from here.

Be forewarned, however; with two incredible mechanics, they get backed-up quickly. Sometimes you need to wait a week or more for an appointment so plan your emergencies accordingly. All kidding aside, Butch's Auto will treat you with respect and will tell you when something needs to be done right away or if it can wait until you get your tax refund.

The car was there for 3 days and I called because I hadn't heard anything. They stated that they were going to look at it the next day ( 4 working days later). I picked it up and brought it to North Town and was driving it two days later. I really have never had a bad experience here and do trust them.
