It's much better than going to Jiffy Lube without the various up sell attempts. Khanh is a very nice and honest guy. This type of service is hard to find so that is why I'm sharing this little gem on Yelp. This place has switched hands over the years but Khanh has been here since 2014 and is here to stay. Make an appointment and walk down to Riverdale Market for a flight of beers and horse racing while you wait for your car to be serviced. My transmission had gone out, unfortunately, but they got be back up and running quickly. Shortly after, when my gear shift was giving me problems, I went back. They offered to pay for the labor since there was uncertainty about it being related to the transmission. I thought that was very notable (and very appreciated). I tried another mechanic for my Honda Civic, but it just wasn't the service I wanted or expected. So, fast forward to an issue with my window. Long story short, I had it replaced by a certain well-known company, and three months later it wouldn't roll all the way up. They came back out to honor the lifetime warranty only to tell me it was the regulator. IMO they/he was responsible for breaking the regulator, as there was no problem with the window until it was replaced. There was definitely a nexus. But I digress. Instead of having to search for another mechanic in Baltimore, I just returned to what I already knew was good--Auto Tech. Todd and family are very personable and make you feel like you're at home. They're not trying to cheat you out of your hard-earned money by making up things that need to be repaired. If there's an issue, they'll lay out your options and let you choose which route you'd like to take. Again, I'm in Baltimore. But that's not a problem, as their waiting area is superb. You'll find the Wi-Fi code right there where you can see it. At one point Todd came out and said I could change the channel if I wanted to. They've got a nice coffee machine, snacks, and leather chairs that are as comfortable as the ones I have at home. My AC was also running warm so they checked that and topped it off. I also had them check my brakes. And they quickly repaired my window. The price was very reasonable. So, I'll just have to keep coming back to Bowie to have my Honda Civic serviced. No problem.

It referred me to a local dealership to exercise the warranty, and the dealership referred me to Crash Champions. But the dealership actually didn't want to do the work and tried everything it could to avoid acting on the warranty, but Mark at Crash Champions was my champion. He pushed the dealership to set up the financing arrangements, and although the dealership resisted for months, Mark stayed with it all the way to make the work got done and make sure everything came out right. It was the kind of service you hardly ever find these days. He's a good guy, the kind you want to deal with. Next time I need car work I will definitely go to Mark, and I recommend you do too.

This was an extremely bad experience. Claim #: 09-87F4-66Q01 Final repair amount: $21,245.15 Repair time: 102 days Despite the size and cost of this repair, the quality and professionalism were unacceptable. What actually happened: * The repair took 102 days from drop-off to pickup. * The official estimate shows extensive Non-OEM / LKQ / aftermarket parts used on a 2023 vehicle. * Only one tire was replaced with a different brand and different wear level. When I asked to replace tires in pairs, I was told "insurance didn't approve it." * The license plate frame was returned old, broken, glued back together, and reinstalled instead of being replaced. * If visible items were handled this way, it raises serious concerns about what was done in areas that cannot be seen. Crash Champions blamed the insurance company. The insurance company stated they paid the repair and that quality decisions were made by Crash Champions. Responsibility was constantly shifted. I was personally told that all issues would be corrected. I even received pickup messages from Michael Blackwell saying the vehicle was almost ready. Nothing was fixed. No one followed up. No one called back. This was a $21,000+ structural repair, not a minor job. The lack of quality control, transparency, and accountability is shocking. Strong warning: If your repair has not started yet, remove your vehicle from this shop immediately. Once your car is in, you may lose control over the quality of what gets installed. All of the above is documented in the official Crash Champions repair estimate.

I was charged $287 FOR A SINGLE IGNITION COIL, which is a 300% MARKUP over the retail price. The total bill of $690 for 1 coil and 4 plugs is excessive for a 4-cylinder engine. More importantly, they tried to sell me a "Fuel Induction Service." AMERICAN HONDA/ACURA OFFICIALLY ADVISES AGAINST THIS SERVICE, calling it an "UNNECESSARY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE." Honda warns that these chemicals can DAMAGE SENSITIVE ENGINE COMPONENTS like O2 sensors and the catalytic converter. To future customers: DO NOT ACCEPT THE INDUCTION SERVICE and CHECK YOUR PART PRICES before signing. The mechanics are skilled, but the price gouging and the attempt to sell services forbidden by the manufacturer are major red flags.
