This place is awesome. The owner (and cook) is so insanely nice it restores your faith in humanity. I never write reviews, but his food is so damn good and he's so damn nice I couldn't help myself. He works so hard and I heard from a friend that he supports many people/family members with his business. Friendly Moroccan owner capable of making delicious shawarma wraps. Interestingly, he also presses them, like one would with a panini or a Cuban sandwich. The flavors are all authentic, tasty, and well-seasoned. My only gripe is the chicken itself may not be of the higher caliber, but that's somewhat to be expected from the majority of restaurants. I probably would try out another dish from this place. There's also a lot of vegan options that seem worth trying, and judging from the flavors I've tried, I'm sure they won't disappoint. If I could give zero stars to this establishment, I would. I ordered lunch for pick up, came here to have the guy tell me that he doesn't make the food, he only opens the store. (Or at least I think that's what he was saying) I showed him my receipt from Yelp and asked if he could get my lunch ready and he told me no. He refused because I didn't have a printed out receipt. I live nearby and stopped to look at the menu while walking the other day. Decided to have it for dinner tonight, and I am so glad I did. The food is incredible! Hands down the best lamb gyro I've had. The hummus and Greek salad are also both amazing. Huge portions, too. I was honestly surprised with how much lamb I got in my gyro. Usually it's mainly toppings. He didn't short on the meat. Just like everyone else said, the owner was so nice! He gave us cookies to try. They are amazing! Will absolutely go back. What a gem! We ordered the AustinMed beef shawarma, and it was delicious and hearty. The seasoned beef was plentiful, garlic sauce addicting, cheese gooey, and the bread to die for. It was served with fries, which were the perfect vessel for more garlic sauce. We also ordered zaalouk-- a cooked eggplant and tomato salad, served with warm pita bread. It was chunky, smoky, and full of flavor. Both items together cost $15. Not bad at all, from my Seattle perspective. Lastly, the owner is such a nice man - friendly and warm.
