After he finished putting in coolant he suddenly told me my Furnace drip pan was cracked and needed a new part but had to order it. Before he arrived I never heard water dripping and then suddenly when he was finished with the maintenance I had this dripping noise from my furnace and he left with the air conditioning running and when I came home from work I had water all over my floor where the furnace was and turned off the air conditioning. He sent me a invoice for a $700 repair but never told me what was actually needed and he didn't turn off the air conditioning when he left knowing the dripping water would cause damage to my furnace.

The next day we had another furnace inspection by a different company (while we were working on getting quotes for a new furnace) and we were told there was absolutely nothing wrong with our existing g furnace and that Vredevoogd uses this scheme to sell furnaces. They stayed and refused to leave me and the boys in the cold even if it took me time to pay for it. I was VERY stubborn and they told me it was ok to let someone help me... that's something that I have never forgotten. That's genuine. Last week Don and Chase came out and installed a new furnace. When I called, them again Sherry (Craig's wife) told me it needed to be replaced. Now they were going to purchase and replace again until I GOT A BILL OF $250.00 for them to tell me it needed to be replaced. Before that they stated they couldn't remove the water heater unless the trim on the door was removed and they couldn't do that. Probably 20 years before that it had been replaced at that time and there was no problem getting it down in the basement nothing has changed, so that was confusing. AGAIN I WOULD NOT HIRE THEM TO DO ANY WORK AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.
