If you are considering the investment in a swimming pool, look no further. This has been one of the most pleasant experiences as a consumer making a large purchase in a long time! From the beginning, Bianca ticked all the boxes when it came to knowledge, promptness, responsiveness, design actualization, budget tweaking, and ease of consultations both online and in person. She gave us REALISTIC timeframes for each phase of the project, no empty promises, and if something was delayed or ahead of schedule, communication was prompt. Once our contract was signed, the process of city permit and HOA approval was streamlined and without delay. With the green light from permits and HOA the crews were at my home immediately. These guys work FAST without big gaps in crews which stands them apart from most contractors. We broke ground on August 6 and were swimming by September 13th. That's 5 weeks! Unheard of! Jim, who is the owner of ADS, is exactly the kind of man you want on your property during a largescale build like a swimming pool! He was onsite most days to make sure that our dream pool became a reality. He kept the project fluid and allowed us to make edits as the project developed in order to ensure we were completely happy. Building a pool is a large undertaking, but ADS made it enjoyable! My husband and I joke that we miss chatting with Jim over our morning coffee as the crews arrived each day of work. Jim's son, Trevor, was also onsite many of the days and we love supporting a family business! When concerns came up, as they do in any construction project, they were not dismissed and remedies were applied until we were completely satisfied. In all, ADS went above and beyond what I would expect while they were employed at my home. Respect, cleanliness (within reason, this is a messy project by nature), quality, and long term value. Deciding to install a pool in your backyard is a huge decision - it is a big financial commitment, a big time commitment, and you are going to be dealing with some sort of inconvenience for at least several months. Our first decision was what kind of pool to put in - gunite or fiberglass. The fiberglass was tempting just because of the shorter timeframe, but after lots of research, we felt better about a gunite pool. Then next we had to find a good company, and there are many choices out there. We interviewed several different companies, including the big name companies, but we were so lucky to find Austin Dreamscapes. A local family-run company, it was obvious from the git-go this was going to be a good experience. Bianca walked us through the whole design process, including tile, coping, and other design features, and basically did ALL the legwork to get the HOA approval done. They went through the whole contracting process, which was a big relief to us to have the protections of a detailed contract. The actual construction was a little painful because we have three big dogs, but the staff worked with us to make it very seamless with minimal disruptions to our life. The turn-around time was much less than what some other companies gave us. Dad Jim, who has been in this business a long time, was on site constantly, communicating with us about what was going on and helping us manage changes we wanted as construction progressed. In a few short months, the pool was done, but Austin Dreamscapes didn't just take off - they walked us through curing of the concrete, how to manage the pool, and set us up with Scott, who did "Pool School" with us to learn all about the pool and how to manage it. Was it cheap? No in-ground pool is going to be cheap (if done right), but the cost was in line with quotes from other companies, and we had the benefit of a hands-on family experience. They have been in contact frequently since completion to ensure all is going well, and they send out reminders of what to do as freezing weather approaches, etc. We would use Austin Dreamscapes again in a heartbeat if we put in another pool at a future house. read more

After so many good reviews from friends, I called and spoke with Bianca today. Even though she isn't able to build a pool where I live, she spent 30 min on the phone with me explaining the various intricacies that I would need to know and understand when building a pool. She's an expert and spent time on the phone with me for free. This just doesn't happen anymore. I had assumed at this point that everyone in the pool business was unprofessional. Not true at all with Austin Dreamscapes. They limit their pools to ensure their customers are happy. They build pools on time. Its obviously hard to find a good pool builder, but they do exist. Austin Dreamscapes is a diamond in the rough. I would certainly work with them if I could. So knowledgeable and they exude customer service, an aspect which I've found missing with most pool builders. They know their stuff to and build for an earthquake. I really wish I could use them. My pool and patio build experience went way beyond my expectations and the end result is just spectacular. I was kept well informed up front and throughout the project which was completed in record time. The crews were all professional and respectful. The design process was collaborative and at no point did I feel any kind of pressure. I found Trevor through craigslist. One of the services his company offers is lawn care and my lawn was in dire need of care after winter with all the fall leaves. Austin Dreamscapes has been amazing!! Our pool is complete and in the final touchups of our outdoor kitchen and couldn't wait to write a review to share my experience because it was that positive. They are a local family owned company and I am so glad we picked them. Jim, Bianca, and Treavor (father/daughter/son) are truly great people that are so down to earth, from the very start they have attentive and responsive to our needs and all the questions and changes and are always making recommendations based on their experience. The were upfront on how their company works and that they have a set number of contracts they work on at a time because the don't like a long drawn out build process. They want to get you in your pool as soon as possible. Just to give you an understanding of project timeline. We signed our contract in late March and their was a delay with our project start because of the lovely rain this year but once they started, the work hasn't stopped! They started on 6/28/21 to map out the pool design, on 7/12/21 they sprayed gunite and plumbing was complete and on 7/26/21. On 8/2/21 they started coping, tile work and our outdoor kitchen. Their team was at our house consistently M-Friday working all day. By 8/23/21 we were filling our pool/spa with water! Less than 60 calendar days and about 40 full working days and our pool and spa was complete. They are about 95 % done with our outdoor kitchen and completed landscaping by adding sod, planted 2 trees and 17 large scrubs/bushes long our fence line for privacy. It all looks AMAZING. If you are concerned about a long process or worried about the service/quality then check out this company out because you won't be disappointed!! read more

This was probably one of the most enjoyable interactions I've had as a consumer in the last 2-3 years. All I did was send a text message, and my lawn was taken care of the next day. I even got a bill I could pay via PayPal in just a few clicks. They have done a great job removing the friction from what is otherwise an industry full of hoops to jump through (free "consultations," assessments, subscriptions required, mailing in payments, etc). My yard had gotten out of control with just "life" and being busy. I was dreading trying to find someone to cut our overgrown yard and also try to find someone affordable and trustworthy. You know how it can be just googling and picking someone. I am SO thankful I came across Trevor's ad. All I did was send a text, he scheduled me next day and came out and handled our awful yard like a PRO. I was so impressed, I've only been home 10 minutes before writing this review! Too bad I didn't have before pictures but let me tell you, it was AWFUL. He has been a joy to work with, sent a paypal/ credit card auth bill after and it was so so so easy. This company installed a pool, fountain, deck and fence for us. Big mistake. The stone deck that was installed around our pool immediately showed cracks in the grout and the fountain leaked. It became apparent to us by the quality and workmanship that the owner promised more than he was capable of doing. They attempted repairs that were done haphazardly and sloppily. Our deck continues to crack and disintegrate. Our fountain still leaks and the repair work is a mess (sloppy and mortor does not match original). Our deck has dropped on one end by about 3 inches and we have a large loose stone. After speaking to a reputable company, we discovered that the installation was done incorrectly. We paid this company a lot of money and now will have to pay another company more to fix what they have done improperly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Austin Dreamscapes excavated rock from the hillside in our back yard to make a level area. placed basketball goal in concrete, then poured concrete surface for court. built stone retaining wall on 2 1/2 sides of the court. Laid 2 stone patios, curved flagstone stairway down to the court, installed a stone walkway, & stone planters. Built stone "patio" on the side of the house for the cans and a fence to screen from the view of the street. Also installed custom netting around the court. Installed a french drain on the side of the house to help driveway drain from rain water. Replaced grass. Am so pleased at the results. My husband was skeptical about the project, but told me that he really, really likes the results, and my son uses it all the time to practice his basketball skills. Sometimes we will just hang out down there and enjoy a cool breeze. Jim was wonderful to work with. Was always interested in my ideas and made it his goal to please me and "make it beautiful" (he said that every day, unaware; I think it should be his catchphrase). read more
