Would not recommend…read more We hired them for weekly pool service and kept them for around 8 months before they 'quit' due to me calling them out for unprofessionalism. Specifically, I have security cameras on my driveway and pool so could see when they would come to service the pool. Many service visits would be less than 10 minutes. A couple months in to the service relationship, we experienced our first no-call-no-show. We received no email about the missed visit and so I inquired and asked for a refund for the missed week. They gave me a refund for that week. Then a few months later, it happened again. No email telling me why the visit was missed. I emailed them saying that it was unprofressional and I shouldn't have to be micro-managing, checking every week whether the service was done, and I expected a refund again for the missed week. The owner replied in a very defensive way, implying I had not read the service agreement sufficiently ... "As clearly stated in the agreement, our company observes four scheduled holidays, during which regular service does not occur. December 30 falls within that holiday period, so no service was scheduled for that week." However, after re-reading the agreement, it stated that the week of Christmas was one of the holiday weeks, and Dec 30 did not fall on that week. So the owner was flat out wrong about this. They also said that I "received at least two additional service visits beyond what is contractually included, at no charge ... those visits were provided as a courtesy" which not a reasonable excuse for missing a visit without notice. Ultimately, they stated "No services were missed that fall outside the terms of the contract, and no refund is due for the week in question" which is a false assertion. When I questioned the two courtesy visits (which I had not recorded myself), they stated one of them was "An additional service visit in July, resulting in five total visits that month." The service agreement clearly stated that I (the client) pay monthly, and the service we receive is weekly visits. So this "courtesy" visit was not actually a courtesy visit at all. It was an expectation. Finally they stated "to bring this service relationship to a clear and orderly conclusion, we will schedule your final service visit for [...]" which was a "you can't fire me because I quit!" way of handling it all. Rather than apologize to the customer for a missed visit, they: - got defensive and tried to imply I hadn't read the terms of my agreement - made false assertions Unprofessional and dishonest. Edit: The owner already replied to this review in the same tone used in the emails ... "your pool was consistently maintained in accordance with that agreement" ... it's almost as if they've been to small claims court before and now choose their words carefully to never imply wrongdoing. As it stands, I never received a service visit the week *after* Christmas even though I should have per the service agreement. Just know that if you hire this company, your experience will not be hands off.

The build went smoothly and pool is awesome. Jody was the project manager and was consistently on-site to manage the many contractors from dig to operational. Both Mike and Jody were an awesome tandem who took all of the normal anxiety out of build process. With zero weather delays, the pool was operational in less than 2 mos. We met with Collin (the Designer) back in January and told him our ideas. It took about a week and then we met up with him to see what he came up with in terms of design and cost. He was great throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and always answered our questions fairly quickly. My husband kept in contact with him the entire time. In February we met with Ryan (the site supervisor) about the construction of the pool. He was also very knowledgeable and explained what would happen throughout the construction process. My husband also kept in contact with him in case he had any questions. The construction process began in February. We weren't moved into our new home yet so the noise wasn't an issue for us but it's loud. Because we had fairly good Spring Weather the construction process went quickly. We were told that weather could delay the process but we didn't really have issues with the weather at that time. We went to our new home regularly to check on the progress of the pool which moved along quickly. Our pool was completed in mid May about a week before our move in date. So when we moved into our new home we had a completed swimming pool. It's great! We have used it multiple times and love that it was ready in time for the Summer. We hired Poolie in April again this year to replace our pump and provide weekly cleaning. While I…read moreclearly communicated that the pool was drained, the install technician seemed unaware of the pool's status upon arriving. We asked for a cleaning before water was added. No two technicians understood our service details because of poor communication within. The install technician provided vague instructions regarding valves and power without ensuring I understood the process. We paid the service diagnostic fee, new pump, and $450 for a cleaning before set up. The results were below average. Days later, the pool tech arrived but was confused that the pool was empty, complaining it was harder to clean. He did not scrub or spray down any part of our plunge pool and basin. Marked it done. A layer of dirt remained on the floor, vents were still full of debris, and tiles remained dirty. I thought since we are giving this company around $4500 for this project, a complete clean up was guaranteed for our small pool that was kept clean all year. Poolie did send out an employee (sorry I can not remember) to make this right. He also set up getting the pool filled and explained everything in detail. We appreciate his effort in resolving many of the issues. These issues reflect a broader pattern of internal miscommunication. We frequently encountered problems with weekly cleanings being pump left on dry prime and baskets not being emptied. I was receiving sales calls for weekly service with an empty pool and no pump. It appears to be no central point of contact familiar with our account history. We have met some knowledgeable and friendly staff at Poolie, it was just inconsistent. I wish them the best.
