I was pretty surprised this place was empty when I came by, but it could be because it was earlier in the morning. I love that you are able to try the jellies. I tried a few with my favorite being the Passion Guava Jelly. My boyfriend thought the Lilikoi Pie was only a little above an average pie, but nothing impressive. He didn't even finish it. However, the Lilikoi Bar I got was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend getting this if you ever get the chance. If you have been to Puka Dog, you know the importance of Auntie Lilikoi's mustard. We were staying on the south shore for this trip to Kauai, and I had to visit Auntie Lilikoi to bring some mustard back to the mainland. After returning from a drive up to the canyon, we stopped in on a mission. We were kindly greeted by a woman (who just might have been Auntie Lilikoi) who was packaging items for shipment. She was lovely and very accommodating in teaching me that "Lilikoi" is passion fruit in Hawaiian and shared that some of the locals are not even aware of this. I sampled the regular lilikoi mustard and the habanero lilikoi mustard and opted for the habanero because I like the spice kick. She was very kind in wrapping my purchase and reminding me to put it in my checked bag, and the volume exceeds the 3-ounce requirement for a carry on. Akin to the lemon meringue pie but sub out the lemon for passion fruit, the lilikoi pie comes with a dollop of meringue, a drizzle of lilikoi jam, and a huge heaping mound of lilikoi chiffon filling. Aunty Lilikoi has many accolades for this dessert, so obviously I chose this place to try my first lilikoi pie. I bought three and shared one with my boyfriend which turned out to be plenty for two. The pies kept up well in the fridge, but I wouldn't leave them in there for more than two days for quality-degradation reasons. The pie was pretty good! The filling was creamy and light, almost like passion fruit-flavored Cool Whip. The crust was mediocre, though, and tasted like frozen pie crust at best. It wasn't very buttery nor decadent just firm and flavorless. Overall, a decent, no-frills place to get passion fruit products! If pie is not your thing, they also have popsicles and jams to purchase as well. read more

They will give you samples of anything that you ask for a little spoons so you can try all of their wonderful products. We really fell in love with their passion fruit mustard's they are excellent! We love the passion fruit wasabi dressing and stock up when we visit Kauai ($10/bottle). They can also ship your purchase back to the mainland if you wish. Eating delicious things is my jam, pun intended, lol. I LOVE fresh locally made jams, jellies, condiments, etc. and this spot was a super fun find for me. We were staying for a couple days in Waimea and I'm so glad because this spot was walking distance from our place. Small and large jars which was great to bring some home and enjoy some during our trip. I love that they sell their local wares as well as other local gems like salts too. We stopped by Aunty Lilikoi on the way back down from Waimea Canyon. We had actually switched drivers when we pulled over across from the park and noticed that Aunty Lilikoi was right behind it. I remember the name from the brand of the mustard that was used at Puka Dog in Poipu. It was delicious so it definitely peaked our curiosity to check out what other great products they offered. They have everything lilikoi. From jams, dressings, candles and that famous mustard. They also have fresh baked pie slices and other goods containing that lovely passion fruit. My girlfriend walked out with some choice items. She came out with some vinaigrette bottles and jars of butter. One particular butter is one I have often with my breakfast toast and it's the passion fruit mango butter ($8.50) and it comes in a 10 oz jar. A little goes a long way with this easy to spread butter as it really packs in a lot of flavor. It's so good for breakfast. I just love the combination of mango and lililkoi. It's perfect... I have yet to try the other products she bought but she raved about the things she sampled and she just couldnt pass up buying them as they were all so tasty. Free parking out front. Located just off Kaumualii Highway on Waimea Road right next to Big Save Market in Waimea town. Great place to stop and stretch your feet after being up in the canyons. We've been coming here for years and always stop, always stock up, and always look for great combinations to give out at Christmas to our dear family and friends. They are so incredibly friendly and nice to talk story with. It's always nice to learn new combinations as we try a free sample of their items. Nice little shop in Waimea. One of my besties have been buying them at Longs and Whole Foods so when we went to Kauai, it was a no brainer to come here and stock up. They had all kinds of products like syrups, jams and mustards. I saw that they had won several awards for various products. The girl was nice enough to give us a pamphlet with some recipes to use them in. If you never had Auntie Lilikoi products, you should try! Great passion fruit themed products, including syrups, butters, jams, honeys, and more! The storefront is in the same building as the factory where it seems they make and jar everything, with shelves stocked with all their items. The lady helping us out was very friendly and helpful, and she let us taste as many of the different products as we wanted. They have some really great flavors with all their products, and we ended up buying quite a bit to take home! Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a discount! Prices are pretty good, but slightly better if you find any products in a grocery store. Selection isn't nearly as good at the grocery store, though (I only saw one or two items at Safeway). read more

According to reviews we went to this place. I love passions fruit and we were really excited to buy this local product: Passion Fruit Syrup. It has the color and the smell but apart from that the product is far too heavy in sugar and I could not recognise the taste of passion fruit under the load. I could have bought 20 pounds of sugar for the same price. Passion fruit taste is real strong and I cannot understand how this product cannot bring it justice... The picture talks for itself, this product has 24g of sugar for 26g of product. Not going to get there any time soon again. Not recommended. read more

Aunty Lilikoi is a brand of products made from lilikoi (also known as passion fruit). You can buy their stuff in a lot of stores in Hawaii, but everything is made in Waimea. I've sampled their goods, even bought them before, and I've driven past their store many times, but never stopped. So, this time I did. I talked for a while with the owner. I don't know her real name, but she is the one who founded Aunty Lilikoi. All of the products are made right in Waimea. They have a small display shelf on the side where you can purchase everything. You can also try samples of whatever you'd like. You can order all Aunty Lilikoi products online and they ship a lot out of the store. I ended up buying a mix and match Aunty Lilikoi sampler pack so that I could give little gifts to people when we got home. I also got some of the Passion Wasabi Mustard. It's so delicious. Sweet, but with a kick. Oh, and I'm not alone in liking this mustard. Aunty Lilikoi's Passion Wasabi Mustard was the 2005 Grand Champion of the Annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival's Worldwide Mustard Competition in California. It beat out 303 mustards from 19 states and 4 countries, and included entries from some mustard makers you may have heard of: Grey Poupon? Beat it! Gulden's? Beat it! The owner also told me about a business her sister started called Salty Wahine. As the name might suggest, they make products using Hawaiian sea salt, and sell them at Aunty Lilikoi's shop. With that said, we've visited Aunty Lilikoi on both of our Kauai trips and after trying their jam on our first trip, we purchased a lot of their products on our second trip. The reason why I am not giving Aunty Lilikoi 5-stars is because we saw that they sold their bottled products (jams, butters, syrups) at Foodland and for CHEAPER! Ever since I discovered about flavored butters and yummy jellies, I always make sure I take some home with me. I wanted to get some good quality ones instead of those sugary ones. It was easy to find it and it has air conditioning, so it was comfortable staying there. Like what other folks have said, they do let you sample.
