This shop alone makes Koloa town worth a visit for souvenirs. Absolutely amazing nuts here and lively, knowledgeable, personal service. Our guy was originally from SoCal (as I am) and a huge fan of Lilo & Stitch (my husband was wearing a themed Hawaiian shirt) so he was really enthusiastic and fun to talk, but more importantly, we never felt annoyingly pressured to buy. You're free to sample any of the items on the shelves and you should! We were both hit by the crisp textures and seasonings. We ended up purchasing a total of 8 bags for ourselves and extended family. (You get a slight discount if you purchase 7+). Each bag is typically $10, so not low cost, but on par for Hawaii. Their nut butters are so fresh and with crispy bits -- perhaps the best I've ever had, and the only reason I didn't purchase a large jar or two was because I was trying to avoid checking in a bag at the airport! read more

We were walking around town and ran into this store. We were greeted as we walked in. They offer a good variety of spiced nuts and were offering a few specials when we were there. They have macadamia nuts as well as mixed nuts. You can ask for a taste of many of nuts they have. It was $10 a bag. The flavors were good and they also ship. read more

Just wanted to see what was so Gourmet about some nuts. 1st of the place is very clean and orderly. The young lady that was helping me out was very attentive, patient, and informative. The Gourmet nuts were wonderful. A nice variety. They also had almond butter and honey. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who have free ti.e to spare. I was shocked the prices weren't as crazy as I thought they would be for gourmet nuts. They let you try whatever flavors you want, and I thought most of them were very good. My guy even bought some for his mom as a present. The almond butter was to die for in my opinion. Staff was incredibly friendly and didn't push us to buy anything even while we were taste-testing. Stopped by while shopping in Koloa and fell in love with the friendly and welcoming service. We were able to sample several different nuts, which lead us to buying even more. My daughter tried the Billy Balm and we are now lifetime shoppers. She has struggled with eczema on her feet and nothing seems to help, even Rx meds. Billy Balm started healing her feet overnight. We ran out of Kauai Gourmet Nuts that i remenbered I have to review! Tried this place on our vacation back in early June. Bought it as a souvenir for ourselves and for our Dads as an early gift for Fathers Day and it did not disappoint. We are all craving for more! When we visited, there were other couples browsing around the options and the lady up front was offering free samples for all their flavors listed up front. We tried about all of them and ended up with many favorites, but we decided only on one for each family. Favorites for us when we went tasting was the Coconut Bliss, Cock A Doodle Doo Doo, Pele Sweet Heat, and Salt & Vinegar. Overall, I definitely recommend! Best nuts I have ever had! I am not one to just walk into a nut store, especially since I live in Hawaii and can get nuts anywhere including the grocery store or costco for cheap. But I walked into this cute little botique nut shop while my friend was getting ice cream a few doors down and I am so glad I stopped in! Kimmy was working and she was great at explaining the process behind how they make the nuts and where they sell them, along with all of the different flavors they have. She listened to my recommendations on what kind of flavors of nuts I usually like, and then popped out 5-8 different free samples for me to try. Now these are not your average nuts...these were coated in amazing, delicious flavoring that I have never ever had before. I normally leave places after a few samples but I had to get a few bags to take home and share with friends. I ended up with the toffee crisp and salted toffee. They were gone before I made it back to Oahu a few days later, but my friend and I absolutely loved them! They were about the same price as other high end brands of nuts, so I didn't find it too crazy of a price for such a delicious product. I cant wait to go back and get these again! They only sell them at a store in Koloa and Ka'paa....so thats the only downfall, but also if they had them anywhere else I would turn into a nut because it would be all that I would eat! Even if you don't plan on trying a bag, you have to stop in and watch them through the process of making the nuts (you can see them making it during the day) and at least try a few samples! Our go to place when we visit the island. Your taste buds won't lead you a stray. We have been to both locations in Kappa and in Old Koala Town. The staff is super nice and you want a sample just ask or don't worry they will offer you one or a handful. If the smell of the roasting does not catch your attention the taste of the nuts and various blends will. Be sure to add this as a must when visiting and make room in your luggage you will be sure to want to bring some home. read more

The staff member inside was so sweet as there were seven of us hungry to sample. She provide a billion samples and we ended up buying a bunch of nuts! My wife and I were in Kauai for our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago and we stopped in here to buy some macadamia nuts as gifts to bring home. We got to meet Dawn, who is the sweetest woman ever, and she helped us sample literally every flavor of macadamia nuts they offer as well as some delicious nut butter. Which, by the way, are all incredible. We ended up leaving with 7 bags of nuts and a jar of nut butter and couldn't have been happier. I cannot recommend this store enough whether you live on the island or are just visiting. The store is cute and cozy and you can see them preparing the huge tubs of nuts right behind the counter and Dawn is just the best!
