I was shocked the prices weren't as crazy as I thought they would be for gourmet nuts. They let you try whatever flavors you want, and I thought most of them were very good. My guy even bought some for his mom as a present. The almond butter was to die for in my opinion. Staff was incredibly friendly and didn't push us to buy anything even while we were taste-testing. This store is very dangerous, but in the best way! Fantastic place to buy a souvenir for yourself or a gift for someone else.

Best two in the whole shop!

Best nuts I have ever had! I am not one to just walk into a nut store, especially since I live in Hawaii and can get nuts anywhere including the grocery store or costco for cheap. But I walked into this cute little botique nut shop while my friend was getting ice cream a few doors down and I am so glad I stopped in! Kimmy was working and she was great at explaining the process behind how they make the nuts and where they sell them, along with all of the different flavors they have. She listened to my recommendations on what kind of flavors of nuts I usually like, and then popped out 5-8 different free samples for me to try. Now these are not your average nuts...these were coated in amazing, delicious flavoring that I have never ever had before. I normally leave places after a few samples but I had to get a few bags to take home and share with friends. I ended up with the toffee crisp and salted toffee. They were gone before I made it back to Oahu a few days later, but my friend and I absolutely loved them! They were about the same price as other high end brands of nuts, so I didn't find it too crazy of a price for such a delicious product. I cant wait to go back and get these again! They only sell them at a store in Koloa and Ka'paa....so thats the only downfall, but also if they had them anywhere else I would turn into a nut because it would be all that I would eat! Even if you don't plan on trying a bag, you have to stop in and watch them through the process of making the nuts (you can see them making it during the day) and at least try a few samples! Thanks so much for your recomendations Kimmy!

Hands-down, one of the best hot dogs I've ever had! A friend recommended Puka Dog, saying it was…read moreone of their favorites, and I'm so glad we checked it out. While in Hawaii, we also saw the episode of Anthony Bourdain visiting, which made us even more excited. I had the classic Polish dog topped with spicy sauce, the mango relish (a.k.a. the Kauai special), and Aunty Lilikoi's mustard. My husband had a similar combination but opted for pineapple relish and no mustard. We couldn't resist getting a third dog to share, simply adorned with spicy sauce and plain ketchup. The line outside can be a little long, but it moves quickly. Inside, the staff is incredibly friendly, making the wait worth it. Don't miss out on their lemonade--it's delicious, and you can choose half-sweet since it's freshly made. I wish we had time to visit them twice, but next time I'm in Kauai, I'll definitely be back. I kind of regret not buying a shirt because I'm sure I'll return!

I will give it credit for the bread that had some char on the inside which added to the flavor of the polish dog, but the polish dog itself seemed to be equivalent to Costco's polish dog. The sauces I will say were unique and tasted pretty good but I it needed more. The sauce was only at the bottom and at the very top. It left the middle hot dog and bun with much to be desired. I personally wouldnt come back, but it was worth it to experience and taste it once. Oh and the lemonade was solid with 50% sugar. It was a nice refresher after going hiking.

We were very happy to stumble upon the fact that this was a restaurant in addition to a market. We…read morecame twice in three days. We sat on the patio but they call the main dining room however it is outside. The host and the servers were very nice on both days helping us choose our dishes and beverages. The first night were shared the shrimp and unui (sp?) patties. They were tasty and slightly sweet but over-charred and the sauce served with them did not complement them very well. It needed a fresher sauce or something with a little kick The first night I Had the chicken Which is actually a tiny little bird I should've known from the name. - pouisson. It was well cooked, but there was very little meat on all of the bones. And also needed a sauce of some kind. The one baby bok choy was a nice addition. Two of the group had the fish and chips it was made with swordfish that night and was very tasty. However, the chips were slightly limp and not hot. No one wanted to return them, but they really were not very good. One of the other entrées was the veggie bowl with seared Aji tuna and it had quinoa at the bottom with lots of roasted beets and other vegetables. It was a very good dish. The second time I ordered the grilled seafood bowl because that night they were offering Oppa as the grilled fish on the kebabs/skewers that were served on top of the bowl the seafood was cooked, absolutely perfectly, and it had pickled cucumbers, pickled red onions, slightly cooked carrots, and then regular cucumbers on top of lightly dressed soba noodles. It was a very tasty and hearty bowl. We also ordered a kale, beet and blue cheese salad for the table, but what came out was their strange version of Caesar salad, which has chickpeas on it which of course we did not want. It took them quite a while to bring the kale and beet salad to the table, however when they did, it was quite tasty a combination I would not have thought of on my own The first night we ordered the passionfruit cheesecake which had a strange chocolate crust that was too thick and a very light topping of passionfruit. It was fine, but we would not order it again. The whole restaurant is a nice change from all of the really overpriced offerings in the area. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is professional and fun at the same time.

Best poke bowl that I had on Kauai!…read more This restaurant has outdoor seating and also a health-centered grocery store inside. It's in the main Poipu outdoor shopping mall area. We ordered takeout and while waiting for our food, we browsed the grocery aisles and then checked out the surrounding shops. I really enjoyed the Ahi poke bowl. There was this tasty kimchi cucumber on the side with sweet o ions and avocado. The fish was fresh. G got the quinoa and vegetable bowl, topped with roasted chicken. It was a delicious salad with beets, macadamia nuts, kale, and more- and the chicken was nice and moist.
