Auntie Anne's in Cerritos mall might as well be closed. I don't know why it says permanently closed, but I can tell you they are still open. They are still located near the food court and I came here because T-Mobile had their T-Mobile Tuesday offer of a free original pretzel. I know it's free but this offer was so hard to redeem. First, trying to order from the app was so difficult. It would not let me complete my order so that all I have to do is pick it up, so I was forced to go in and fall in the long line that I anticipated. When I got to the register I inquired if the cinnamon sugar was eligible he said no, only the original. I was ok with that. I asked if I can get one with no salt because I have to cut back on my sodium intake. The guy said, no it's only good on the salted one because that's all we have. He was definitely not accommodating nor friendly about it. It was like it's free, get what you get. The other issue I had with the employee is he was handing me the one pretzel in the paper pretzel wrapper and I asked for a bag, again I got the feeling of I was asking for too much and then, he hands me the bag and makes me have to place it in the bag myself. He should have initially placed it in a paper bag. I will not return here nor redeem even another free offer in the future. I stop by Auntie Ann's pretzel quite often to buy pretzel for my kids every time we go to Cerritos mall. It's quite the busy little shop, as it is next to the food court area. The staff was pleasant and the service was fast. We got several pretzels. The cinnamon sugar Pretzel was my son's favorite. It's sweet, crispy and fluffy which reminds him of a cinnamon roll. The pepperoni pretzel was loved by my daughter. I got the salt butter pretzel. It was crispy on the outside and soft on inside. Pretzels? Count me in! I've had a few of these pretzels before, and they're always light and fluffy. My favorite is definitely the cinnamon sugar one, but the buttered plain is a nice change of pace. And if I'm feeling a little fancy, I'll go for the pepperoni pretzel. Over the years, I think they've gotten a bit smaller, or maybe I've just grown up. Probably a little of both! Review is solely based on the service. Came by in the late afternoon to grab a snack before dinner. There was one person in line ordering with a small line forming behind me. Once the person in front of me had finished ordering, I walked up to the register to wait to be helped. Two people working the front (one at the register and the other grabbing the orders from the case) didn't acknowledge my husband and I at all. They were working on the order before me. After standing there waiting for a while with absolutely no acknowledgement of 'I'll be right with you' or 'Just a moment' or even a straight up Hello, we just left. Hey, i just wanna say I got great customer service a few days ago. I walk up to the register and I got greeted by this young red hair girl. I think her name was Destiny. Very terrible management. Not only is the environment unsafe for their employees to work in but they also treat their employees like trash. Yelling at employees in front of the customer is so unprofessional, especially over nearly nothing. IF they aren't afraid to do it in Public who know what they say to them behind closed doors. I found my experience at this locations very pleasant! I was in the area for a dental Appointment so I stop by to get my complimentary pretzel. Customer services was great, although my they sold the last of jalapeño pretzel to the guy ahead of me. She offered a different kind parmesan cheese & garlic. I appreciated it. No hassle just a sorry from her end. Now that was an amazing services. I had ventured into another location and didn't quite get the same services. Great pretzel stand. Back in the day, Auntie Anne's occupied the space where the Dumpling Express is now before moving around the corner. Ever since they were in that old location, I've had their cinnamon pretzel. I fell in love with it from Day One, and continue to get that exact same flavor whenever I feel like getting a pretzel. The taste hasn't changed at all. If you're a mall employee, you get free pretzels. I found this out because when I ordered a cinnamon pretzel once, the owner asked for which store I worked for then offered it to me for free. (I never worked at the Los Cerritos Center, but I'm there so often that employees for the stores probably think I do). Every so often, Auntie Anne's gives away a free pretzel to every customer for a few hours during the day. I think this has to do with their anniversary celebration, but when it does...the lines here are ridiculous. And, sadly, I've found myself passing by two years in a row and waiting in line to get a free cinnamon pretzel. read more

There really isn't much to comment on a delicious pretzel place. I come here once in a while when I am craving a glazin' raisin, almond, pizza/jalapeno or plain old pretzel bites and always leave satisfied. The sales associates are pretty fast at order completion and getting me in and out. When something special does require a wait, they always check with me prior to finalizing payment (which is much appreciated). Who is this Auntie Anne and why is her pretzels so delicious? I love their regular pretzel with jalapeno cheese sauce! I don't need anything fancy like cinnamon, or jalapeno. As far as soft pretzels go, I think Auntie Anne's is the Best. I used to go to this one as often as I was at the Cerritos Mall. The pretzels are cooked perfectly, a little crisp on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside. I usually go with the plain with no salt and the butter on it. Awesome. I sometimes get the almond one and get the caramel dip if I'm in the mood for sweet. Long story short: The owner left me a message thanking me for my review and offered me to come in any time I wanted to receive a complimentary pretzel of my liking. I'm a huge fan/critic of pretzels and Auntie Anne does me good every single time. The pretzels are made right in front of ya and given to you ready, warm and perfectly made. The crunchy to squishy ratio is on point and the workers are very kind. My go-to pretzel is either the sweet almond covered one or the pizza one.
