I recently had a troubling experience at Audi Plano while trying to sell my great condition, low mileage, fully loaded VW car and purchase a pre-owned EV. Initially, I received an online quote for my VW, and I had been in contact with internet sales rep Jiminco. Upon arriving, Wade took my keys and handed me over to sales rep Adrian. To my shock, they only offered me only around $11,000 for my VW, which was far below the quoted amount and its actual value. I left feeling frustrated, especially after receiving offers of $15,000 from eCars and $17,500 from CarMax down the street shortly after. (Which I sold to Carmax who made it so easy and PLEASANT to deal with). Despite the lowball offer, I decided to pursue the EV that Audi Plano had in stock as it was not available in my price range elsewhere. I was disappointed in going back to Audi Plano to finalize the deal after the insulting offer for my VW car. I really wanted this EV at Audi Plano however, after I sold my car, reviewing the carfax with my sales guy, we see it has an accident reported on it.... Wow. I was not expecting that. After back and forth with Adrian, and now without a car.... I went ahead with it since it didn't report major damage, however I am wondering if this is acceptable to sell cars with accident records? I did inquire about this as well, and ofcourse ignored again. After completing my purchase, Harman in Finance pitched an easily cancelable $2,000 warranty. Although I had doubts about needing it, I was fatigued with the process and also a recent family tragedy and believed his assurance that cancellation would be easy within 60 days. Well, I did contact him less than 48 hours later, it took 2-3 more attempts to get a reply. I also shared my experience with the dealership manager Neil prompted by a buyer feedback request. Neil replied quickly and followed up with Finance on it, things seemed to be rolling. However, it's now over 6 weeks and I am still getting ignored and no refund as promised. This has affected my refinancing with the original bank that I planned on. Prior to this I did reach out to the warranty company which couldn't originally find anything, they were surprisingly very supportive and redirected me back to the dealership. I'm beyond frustrated that something supposed to be "easy to cancel" has turned into a lengthy ordeal. I should have been more cautious about giving my business to a place that initially low balled me. I hope this feedback helps others be aware of their practices. read more

I was assured multiple things during the buying process that ultimately were not honored. During the test drive, a service light was clearly on, and I was explicitly told it would be taken care of before delivery. Now, after the sale, I'm being told that addressing it will be at my expense. That is not what was agreed to. On top of that, warranties were added to my deal that I did not want or need, and it was presented in a way that made it seem like they were required by the bank, which is simply not true. That is misleading at best and unacceptable at worst. This is especially disheartening because I recently had a very positive buying experience at BMW of Dallas, and I believed both dealerships were part of the same AutoNation family. The contrast in transparency and follow-through could not be more stark. Overall, nothing that was stated upfront was actually done, and the experience felt more focused on padding the deal than on honesty or customer trust. For a brand and dealership that markets itself as premium, this was a very poor experience. I would not recommend Audi Plano based on how this transaction was handled. read more

Update : Management has helped with this and replaced the entire sunroof panel (part of extended warranty) and coverered my pro-rated cost - I appreciate it ! Bought a used Audi March 2026. Good experience with the sales and finance process and really like car. Issue : 10 days later it rained and water got through the sunroof (see pics) on the passenger side, headliner very wet and floorboard had sitting water (at least half an inch). After doing some research, discovered that this is known issue with 2019-2021 Etrons (and other Audis) = Audi Warranty Bulletin AWA-23-09 and a sunroof class action warranty extension. I took it in the dealership and 7 days later the technicians looked at it and found an issue with the wind screen and deflector not working properly. Despite having both a 90-day AutoNation Warranty and purchasing a platinum vehicle protection plan... Neither covered this and I was charged $725 to fix this Unfortunately, I have not received a permanent solution... Even though I brought up the warranty bullet and extension.... ....Will I get water in again in 6 or 12 months ? What if water leaks near the front controls or sun visors, potentially damaging the sensitive electronics and SOS systems housed in the roof console. Doesn't appear it's covered.... due to not being a mechanical issue. I do not feel resolved. And thus I have reached out to Audi Corporate to hopefully get a permanent solution. ** Update 12 days later (today is April 21st) , it rained, and Water got in the same area again !! ** Very Disappointed b/c things could get worse and I expected more from Audi Plano / AutoNation. read more

Do not give this dealership your business. I took my Audi RS6 in for what should have been a straightforward repair for a coolant leak--a well-known issue on these vehicles. Instead, my experience turned into one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The dealership kept my car for more than two weeks. During that time, Service Manager Michael Bush took my vehicle on what he described as an "extended road test." That "road test" resulted in nearly 200 miles being added to my car and included an overnight stay in North Dallas where the vehicle was left in a hotel parking lot with the windows and sunroof open overnight. When I confronted Michael, he apologized and offered a complimentary detail. He also told me he had attended a comedy show and left my vehicle at a hotel overnight. This was especially disappointing because before I agreed to the extended road test, he assured me he would treat my car as if it were his own. Fortunately, I had screenshots from the myAudi app documenting the vehicle's location and activity. I shared them with Michael's supervisor, David, who was the only person who appeared genuinely concerned about what had happened. David apologized, and I chose to move forward. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the problems. Recently, I returned for a routine oil change, assuming such a basic service would be uneventful. I received an estimate approaching $600 for the oil change. Since we had recently paid under $300 for the same service on my wife's RS7--which has the same engine--I called for clarification. I was told the system pricing was incorrect and was quoted a lower amount. However, when the service was completed, the bill was still over $500. After a coupon was applied, the total remained over $400, with no clear explanation for the significant increase. For comparison, I contacted another Audi dealership in Dallas and was quoted less than $320 for the exact same service. When I called to ask about the pricing discrepancy, the response I received was dismissive: "I don't work at Audi Dallas, so I don't know why there is a difference." My family and I have owned 10 Audis over the past seven years and have spent approximately $235,000 on Audi vehicles in the last year alone. I worked with Tracy and mainly with Michael Yarrow, who physically told me multiple times what the total price for the vehicle would be. However, after checking my financing through Westlake, I discovered the total is actually thousands of dollars higher than what we agreed on. Not only did the price jump significantly, but the loan term was stretched out much longer than the shorter term we had explicitly discussed. To make matters worse, it has been over 3 months already and I still haven't received my registration documents or the other official paperwork I am supposed to have. This is blatant misrepresentation and predatory behavior. The Service Failure: I bought a used car here and the check engine light came on almost immediately. I brought it back for repair, and the experience was appalling: * Disrespect for Property: When I got my car back, there was trash left inside, someone had clearly eaten in my vehicle, and my steering wheel was covered in grease. * Wasted Gas & Time: They used up my gas, and despite waiting hours for a promised "complimentary wash," the car was still filthy. * Failed Repairs: The check engine light came back on the very next day. They never explained the cause of the light and are now brushing me off, telling me to "go to other shops" instead of fixing the car they just sold me. It is clear that once they have your money, they no longer care about you or the quality of the vehicle they sold. BEWARE OF BUYING ANYTHING HERE, MOST ESPECIALLY AN EV!! They sold us a defective car as new, which we suspect was previously owned and returned. The car has had constant errors and issues the entire time we have owned it (1 year), and it has spent almost as much time at their service center as with us. It has stranded us on two trips, by being unable to charge. They have only one "EV" tech, who only seems to be able to call Audi and ask what to do. They give it back to us each time with issues still occurring. They claim they won't fix errors regarding the app, and claim they will only "fix" one error each time it is brought in. This, of course is as dangerous as it is irresponsible. We are being put in constant danger with many of the errors, which can shut down the car unexpectedly...or worse. We would never buy or lease any car from them again. Business "owner" responded here at first with only the main number of the dealership, telling us to "call" for assistance!. That does us no good, as we are already in touch with the people there, who don't do anything. It needs to go in, yet again, for additional errors. Since it is generally in there for 3+ weeks every single time, we can't be without transportation, and they don't always have a loaner. This is basically a NEW CAR! We have had it in for repair almost the same amount of time we have owned the car, and have had it in at least 3-4 times for an emergency electrical system/battery failure warning, which can cause personal injury, fire, or worse. They always return it to us, unfixed. It seems that all they do is delete all the errors, which show up again immediately upon picking up the car. This time, same thing. When texted for a further explanation, we were told that we have to bring it in, yet again, and this time it is likely to take SEVERAL MONTHS TO REPAIR! It seems they will now "try" to repair a cell in the defective battery, but they have to "wait in line" for a special table required for that. This is now beyond our or any reasonable person's limits of tolerance. All this time, we must continue to make payments on a car which we can't safely use...and they never were able to fix the fact that we aren't considered a "key user" by the car, and still can't remotely start climate control in the vehicle. It is in the 90s here, and the car is baking. They gave it back to us this last time, claiming they couldn't do anything, as Audi's server was down for a week. I was searching for a Cayenne Turbo with a specific color combo which happened to be located out of state in Texas. From the moment I inquired about this vehicle, I immediately felt like this was a "no pressure" process. I was fortunate enough to work with Nick Schulz. He provided excellent service, answered all my questions and then some. Nick was so dedicated and so customer focused, he even texted me after hours, on days off and even while he was out of town! Once we came to an agreement, I was passed over to Spencer Singer in finance. Again, I was apprehensive about speaking with finance. Previous experience made me cautious about being up sold with extended warranties. While Spencer did discuss some options, he did not pressure me in the least bit. I did decline all warranties and expected the experience to change. However, Spencer did not skip a beat. He was pleasant, professional and once again, answered all my questions. He also was there after hours and during his time away. Spencer got all the documentation completed and sent to me out of state overnight! I received my vehicle through a transport service within days of signing documents. I couldn't be happier with this experience! Audi of Plano has two excellent employees. Mitch checked for oil leaks with his flash light and said no issues and that he has a receipt for the oil change. pictures of my inspection showed leaks and a low oil level on the dipstick stick. Mitch is so full of it and thinks he can sell ice in an ice storm. he tarnished the Audi name. I bought a used BMW X5 at the end of August. A couple of days later, we received some bad news concerning my wife's medical condition which made it financially impossible to keep the car. We returned it within the 5 day, 250 mile "return for any reason" period. I dropped off the BMW and was able to pick up our trade-in vehicle. I was assured there was no further paperwork to do and they would cancel everything out. After receiving the payment coupons from the lender EECU, I call them and was told first that the dealership had contacted them. Later when it still showed my first payment due date approaching I contacted the lender again and was told they had received nothing from the dealership. I moved from WA and everywhere you go customer service in Texas has been amazing. except for Audi Plano. Tried picking up our car at 7pm. front desk said service is closed. They text us saying our car would be ready at 6:30. we asked how late they were open. they said 8pm. I asked the front desk to go and check and see if they had our key. seems like a bother. there were two people in service- arguing with another customer. uncomfortable. lady who helped me, said next time remember service closes at 7pm..once again I feel like I'm bothering them. then the payment- She said are you using a credit card or debit card I said credit, she said there is a 2.5% service charge for credit card. I laughed. she said it's not automation fault but the credit card company. I didnt have time to explain it to her and opted for the debit card. Then the invoice was wrong! This is 2 for 2 on bad CS, hence the reason for the review. they must have had 40 people working that night and not one person said hello or smiled. seems like a top down issue. read more

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Audi Plano, I highly encourage you to go elsewhere. I had been looking at several dealerships, and Audi Plano is the only one where the vehicle that I was shown was filthy inside (what appeared to be dried food on the seats, hair & dust all over, etc.). The salesman was also unwilling to negotiate on the price even a penny, despite conditions such as a cracked windshield, an open recall on the car, and comparable make/models being offered for less elsewhere. Instead, he kept demanding to know why I wouldn't pay that price, so I decided to end the interaction and left. Be aware that they will bombard you with text messages & emails after merely inquiring about a car. I immediately went to Park Place Lexus and purchased a car within two hours of leaving Audi Plano. I am incredibly thankful that my experience at Audi Plano was so poor because I would have ended up with an inferior purchase in every way. At Park Place, I found the same make/model but with a newer year, lower mileage, and far superior condition (not to mention cleanliness -the exterior & interior were pristine), plus they sold it to me for a slightly lower price than the price from which Audi Plano was unwilling to budge. Additionally, the caliber of service could not have been farther from Audi Plano - from the dealership facility itself to the highly experienced staff to the professional & courteous manner of conducting business, Park Place Lexus exhibited class in every way. Scheduled an oil change with Audi Plano-aka, Auto Nation. Delivered the vehicle to Audi Plano at 8:30am. They said it would be ready at 12 noon. It was ready at 2pm. (No biggie things happen) Picked up my Audi S5 at 2pm. I drove home which is 10mins away and picked up my wife for a late lunch. We went back to the general area near Audi Plano. I had not been gone from Audi Plano more than 30mins. Then the oil minimum amount light and red exclamation point warning light was going off. So Immediately took it back to Audi Plano. Waited in the near empty service advisor area for 15mins. They took the car back and waited another 45mins for them to determine what was up with the vehicle. They finally said my car was done. When asked what was the problem. He said, we topped the oil off. There was minimum amount of oil in my car..it was near empty. In the future Sewell Audi of Mckinney gets my business. Bought a used 4Runner from them this year. They (or AutoNation) had prepped the car and so changed the oil. I changed it a few months ago to find that whoever did it, installed in the wrong oil filter cartridge. The cartridge was too long; it was therefore engaging the bypass mechanism (this function is to allow oil to the engine if the filter is clogged) so the oil was not being filtered since the filter was changed by them. I first thought there was an issue when the plastic piece provided by the filter kit did not drain any oil from the filter housing, then when I removed the filter cartridge, it was much longer than the proper cartridge. This means whoever they have working on their cars are careless or idiots. I'm very irritated that the low mileage engine has been compromised by their incompetence. Additionally, all the screws and filter itself was over torqued, meaning they used air tools and not using a torque wrench. Avoid AutoNation. Sorry I didn't read the reviews before buying. Another additional...never received my registration, after two months I called and they said that indeed they had it and was sending it to me. All in all... looks like poor quality control, in the shop and in the front office. In regard to Audi's canned response, how exactly do you plan on correcting this issue? read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had. Super poor and not consistent communication about timing (told twice it was an express oil change for 1.5 hours) I was there 3.5 hours. Asked four times for an update, didn't get any. The fourth time I refused to sit down again until some gave me an update. Then the dealership made recommendations for immediate services but didn't discuss them with me and marked them as declined in the check out paperwork. they also tried to get me to agree on a service they anticipated I would need, that I declined because it was $$$. But in the final paperwork, that was never listed at all. I will not be returning. They at least washed my car this time. My first time there after spending $$$$ they didn't. read more

After a recent very poor experience with an alternative provider, Audi Dallas, with a safety/emergency issue with car alarm going off spontaneously on brand new car, we cancelled service with Audi Dallas - Audi Plano Service quickly and efficiently analyzed our issue with a key FOB/locking/spontaneous alarm issue, concluded it was all derivative of a central locking mechanism/faulty door locking/latch mechanism, resulting in the central system not recognizing key. All under warranty $0.00 charge and they were able to arrange a loaner during service. Go to Audi Plano (Autonation) for service and dealing needs, they solve problems and know how to provide excellent client service. Thank you Audi Plano, you have earned a repeat customer. read more

They sold me 2 warranty's that don't cover problems that have. Bought the bumper to bumper warranty and the wheel warranty on a used car, 2 years old with 8,000 miles. I got ripped off and spent $4,000+ on warranties that claims were denied on. I had a lower interest rate on a loan, but they sold me on another loan with a higher interest rate if they would discount the warranty. You can't get through to the receptionist or general manager when you call. Never would I buy doom them again. I should have looked at the 2.4 rating. read more
