My car wouldn't start yesterday morning, and after getting a ride to and from work for a couple days, I had time to go deal with the problem. I jumped my car and headed to this AutoZone just because it was closest. I walked in and was greeted by Juan immediately, and when I explained the problem he grabbed the battery testing equipment, followed me outside, and soon told me I had a dud of a battery--fully charged, but just not working. In the space of 20 very pleasant minutes, I had a new battery and associated doodads (insulators and whatnot) for a fair price, and with free installation from Juan. He explained what he was doing in a way that didn't make me feel talked down to, which is always gratifying. A great experience, and Juan is just the best! read more

NEVER AGAIN. I've been to this Autozone on multiple occasions, and every time the service gets worse and worse. Most days they have only one or two people working here, and can't handle the volume of customers. Customer service is generally mediocre, but nothing like today. Today I went in and there was 2 people "working" here. I use that term lightly, because the guy that was attempting to assist me didn't seem to know squat about cars (less than I know, and I don't consider myself all that knowledgeable). After trying to assist me with touch up paint, and giving me some poor advice ("use nail polish"), he was walking halfway out the door and I wasn't done asking him questions. I asked about the repair manuals, and what they cost. He says "I don't know, $23 I think" and then walks out the front door and starts chatting with some friends, and then gets in his car and drives off. Horrible Service!!! Next time I'm taking my business to O'Reilly!!! I walked in with a battery and two employees clearly saw me carry it in. I get in line behind someone that was being helped. Another employee was ringing up someone. Another employee was stocking products really slowly. Another was checking in products that they received. No one acknowledged me and I was there with a friend for a long moment. Another customer walks in and ask the guy checking in the product of the van charge batteries. He tells him that their machine is not working.... I said what? I said to him, y'all saw me walking in with a battery and y'all could have told me. He said I'm sorry. Freaking ridiculous! Because my battery had died and I had to get a jump, my friend who provided the jump suggested I stop by my friendly local AutoZone for a battery check. I waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by one of only 2 clerks in the store. I was mansplained on how the charging system worked and then asked to stand aside and wait for someone to come out with the proper equipment. He had to be called twice before he came out; I waited about another 10 minutes. He went to my car, I popped the hood, and he placed the machine on my battery. Then he took a personal phone call on his cell phone. Less than a minute later, he poked his head around the hood and said, "yep, your battery's bad." AND HE WALKED AWAY. That was it. I put my key in the ignition, drove home and will NEVER trust an AutoZone again. read more

I usually come here when some sort of light that doesn't usually come on in my car shows up. I'm not much of a car person, so I have no clue what's going on with the car. They always offer free code tests that pulls up a code on what's wrong with your car. I come here all the time with the big fat question mark that sits over my head. The last thing I purchased from here was a car battery, and I must say the guy who rang up my bill ended up giving me the wrong battery for my car. That's was found out after a friend tried install my battery, and sparks started flying every where. The tech that answered the call was friendly and answered questions and admitted that one of the guys gave us the wrong battery. So, he called another autozone and told that store to hold a battery for us. That was good customer service given, and good customer service = a satisfied customer. read more

WORST Autozone ever. My fiancé just had the most ridiculous, unreal experience at this location! We arrived at 8:50pm to make a return and the manager on duty said he wouldn't do the return because he had already closed the registers. The store doesn't close until 10:00pm but the manager told my fiancé that they close the registers at 9:00pm. When my fiancé pointed out that it was still 8:50, his response was, "Same thing" and told my fiancé to go return it elsewhere (who does that!?)! At this point, my fiancé looked up the number to call the corporate office and left a message and the manager still wouldn't re-open the register! After a good 40 minutes of this scene out of a sitcom, the manager finally made the return out of his own pocket and said he would balance the registers in the morning... If you can, avoid this Autozone (at least for any transactions after 9:00pm)!! read more

I purchased a part I didn't need and I paid with a credit card. My bad right? I went to return it 3 hours later. I lost the receipt because I had cleaned out my car and could not find the receipt anywhere. It's my fault but I thought to myself, wait I used a credit card! so they can just look it up. Nope they refused and would only give me a gift card. Not only that but they didn't even tell me anything they just took the part back and handed me a gift card with no explanation. I guess I could just re gift it to someone lol. This just seems really stupid to me. read more

Shocked to see so many bad reviews! This is the best Autozone staff around (and I am going to my fair share.. ugh, car issues!). So Autozone is what it is, of course the review is all about people working there. They are always super friendly and resourceful, and I have some tricky things in my car. First went for a new battery (it was installed in my car for free :o) ), then some light and bulbs... Then batery dying on me and they changed without a question- so far so good. They guy who helped me the first time was Gabriel and can't be nicer but all of them are too. I think the one who is a manager, very calm and helpful. I agree with some here that it is a busy store and it is a nerve wrecking the long lines sometimes.... but just because they have a great attitude for me they rock! read more

I was in need of new wiper blades and the gentleman who assisted me was incredibly nice and helped me pick the appropriate brand and looked up the correct sizes for my car. On top of that, he installed them and did an excellent job. Whole process took less than 10 minutes. Will definitely return to this Auto zone. read more

Called an AutoZone closer to where I lived and the guy on the phone acted like he absolutely hated his job and wasn't helpful at all. I went to this one instead because it was the next closest, and I am very happy I went here! Verne helped me immediately and was a super nice guy! He changed my battery out (which was a pain to get out) and had an awesome attitude! Definitely will come back here next time! read more

This is the worst experience I've had at an auto zone by far and I won't be coming back here ever again. The customer service isn't even close to average and if the option of zero stars was available I'd choose that. The guy helping us was dressed unprofessionally and took his sweet ass time taking care of us. I needed a battery replacement. While doing so he took personal phone calls, talked to other people parked next to my car, and smoked a cigarette while still trying to change my battery. While inside, he tried to check multiple people out at once which delayed my transaction even further. read more

Huge THANK YOU to Daniel at Auto Zone!! He helped me find the correct bulb for my headlight and even replaced it for me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and for under $20. I've got no doubt that had I gone to a repair shop this would have easily cost me $100 or more and taken several hours. I appreciate his help and kindness more than I can express. read more

I got here at 11:45am and I'm still standing here after needing my battery tested. Was told it didn't have power and they could try and charge it for 45 minutes to an hour. Even already agreed to a brand new battery if it didn't work. After an hour and a half (not once was I talked to or offered an update although I heard plenty of profanity and sex jokes from the employees to keep them busy) then the manager asked me if I had been helped and no one had any idea what was going on (original guy apparently left for the day. The guy then let me know that the battery wasn't holding a charge and I needed a new one! I actually laughed out loud I was so blown away. Then the manager blamed his employees for lack of communication. This place is a complete joke, do yourself a favor and literally take your car to any other place. Also currently still waiting for the manager to put my bad battery back in so I can take it to Addison Automotive. If anyone from higher up at Autozone reads this, please take the time to address this store. One of the top 3 most absurd experiences I've ever had with a business. read more

Save yourself the time and go to a different autozone!!!... I'm not sure how an autozone could be so awful with their customers. I gave them my battery 48 hours ago and they told me they would give me a call within an hour to come pick up the battery. I had to call them a total of 17 times within the 48 hour span in which they didn't answer one time so I decided to walk up to the autozone a couple miles from my house to find out they weren't able to hook it up to their machine to read if it had juice or not .. I have a life autozone I can't just have you guys hording my battery for days keeping me from being able to go to school and work when I could be driving already..I took my battery to the autozone off of coit they hooked it up before I left and told it had no juice and I'm already driving again w a new battery.. Not that hard of a task and surely could've approached the problem in a way more timely matter!! read more

This location screams customer service! The past three times we have been there, we've been blown away by the customer service. The first time, I said "wow, this place was great!" The second time, I said "I need to get online and write an amazing review of this place," but never got around to it because I'm not one to write reviews. This last time, I was absolutely swept off of my feet and have made it a priority to come write a review. I don't ever want to use another Auto Zone.
