These guys are a life saver. I'm not car savvy and getting stuck with a dead battery is never fun. Ricardo busted his butt to make sure that the battery was replaced with the one I needed and worked to make sure that the battery was installed properly. We had to get a little fancy as the terminal had corroded and broke during the replacement process. I came in one day to get a brake light for my car receive the brake light come to find out it was the wrong brake light. I come in the next day to get the correct brake light and a new gentleman was there doing his job well helping me out as much as he could the manager was there not guiding him at all I sat there for almost 25 minutes and ended up telling the young gentleman to just refund me my money so I could go to O'Reilly's. Today I want to talk about consistency and communication in the workplace, more specifically at the AutoZone in Dallas, Tx off Spring Valley and Montfort. It all started Feb 20th when I was given the wrong headlight, I took my car to the shop about a week later to get it changed and was told I needed another one. So the next day I was going to do an exchange and accidentally left the lights at the apt (my mistake). I asked can I return the ones I had and they advised me to go to the store where I purchased it (Spring Valley and Montfort) and they would be able to locate the receipt since i couldn't find it (also my fault). So to make a long story short. I went to said AutoZone TWICE! The first time i was told "we cant look up your receipt tonight because we need a manager override," coo coo so I asked "So when a manager is here I can get the money back on my card? When will a manager be here" her response "not till the morning, and yes even without them finding the receipt we can give your money back" Fast forward to today. I walk in ask the MANAGER to do a return, he looks to his employee and asked "Hey you know how to look up a receipt?" they responded no...(why did he not know?) Than he looks and says "we have to wait for Margaret, come back in 30 and she can look up your receipt" ....I came back in 30 and she was no where to be found. So I'm like, umm when will she be off maybe i can come back.. No response. They call her on the phone to explain the situation only for them to get off the phone and offer store credit with no attempt to look up the receipt. On top of that i had to ask for them to put the store credit on a gift card! So I'm not upset about store credit, I'm upset because nobody in the entire store knows how to do such a simple function, and if the capability is not available than that needs to be communicated so that I'm not wasting my time! I was kind and courteous the whole time and they displayed no sense of empathy. Smh AutoZone of Spring Valley and Montfort and Margaret where were you! I used to go to this Autozone with my dad growing up. (Shout out to the 90s). It's the only Autozone I've seen that is not in a free standing building. This one is connected to another business on the left so parking is probably limit during busy hours. Honestly, some of the best customer service I've seen and I'm at Autozones across Dallas. Big thanks to Bobby for the quick work getting my new battery replaced. It's a pain to get the old battery out of the newer Civics but I was in and out in no time. 0 STARS!!! STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I took my company vehicle into AutoZone for a routine battery install. I sat in the vehicle while he was changing out the battery. When he was done he told me the battery cable end sensor was broke and that it was like that before he changed the battery which I found very hard to believe since it was intact when AAA jumped the vehicle minutes prior. I went back to AutoZone the following day to talk to Alex the manager and filled out a claim. He also tell me at that store they do not touch the car if something is broken which solidifies my thought that AutoZone broke it. Alex called me the following week and instructed I take the car to Kwik Kar off Inwood Rd and speak to Rigo to see what is needed to repair the sensor. I waited a Kwik Kar a while then they tell me they are getting the part to repair the sensor and they will call me when it comes in so I head back to work. The next day Ivan Cortes the District manager calls me the claim is being denied because the employee did not do it. We went back and forth for a while then I ask to speak to his manager. He provides me with the name of the Regional manager Domingo and number. I called numerous times and leave messages to find he is always out of the office. I never heard from Domingo. I ended up getting it repaired at 5 Star Ford for $150.63. AutoZone just lost my business as well as my bosses and other co-workers for $150.63. So disappointing!!! read more

I highly recommend this Auto Zone. I have always had good service here even though I'm not a car expert. This time Jose helped me find new headlight bulbs and replaced them. It ended up being a little difficult to get one replaced, but he took the time and effort to get it installed correctly even when he didn't have to. read more

The only reason why I had visited this store a few times already would be for these two primary reasons: (1) the store is conveniently located between my workplace and home, and (2) I am in need of auto supplies. It might also be the only reason I will continue to stop by in the future. Now here is the downside for visiting this location: slow, unenthusiastic service and a dirty store. The first visit to the store was for the purchase and installation of a new battery; which took a little over an hour to complete with an average sized lunch time crowd visiting the store at the time. The second visit was to ask them for the free code scan service after the check engine light appeared within 24-hours after the installation of the new battery; but it took them about forty-five minutes to finally initiate and complete the code scan service, only to say they have no solid idea what the code means and then strongly encouraged me to go visit a mechanic for the full diagnostic scan (hmm, that would cost me up to $100 or so depending on which auto shop I visit). Finally, on the most recent visit it was a simple errand run for some engine cleaner. The employee was able to ring up my order in a couple of minute's time. Hurray, I finally was able to run in and out of the store in no time! However, while I was waiting for the items to be bagged up and my receipt to be printed out I had noticed a half-dead roach squirming around on the ground just a few feet away from the cashier stand. I might not have given it as much of a thought as necessary if it was not for the fact that this store is located in a strip mall book ended with several other business that serve food and drinks. I would not be surprised if those other business owners would prefer to avoid pests at all costs, particularly anything like the sight of a roach who could possibly wander in through the walls from next door and right into their kitchen and food prep area. read more

The assistant manager at Auto Zone ,Spring Valley & Montfort, is TERRIBLE. I don't have her name but she is a woman with red-ish hair.When you're Ready to check out the only thing you're here it is cash or card. Richard is an employee who helped us find everything that we needed and when I asked to help install windshields. He did not know however he did ask the manager to help us. She replied that she couldn't because she wanted to wait until the next employee came in. And we would have to wait till the next employee to come in. Richard apologized for what we just heard and apologize for not being able to help. And decided she would put them on with an attitude. But since it was raining we decided to wait.Later that day we came in to return an item. And Couldn't get help putting our windshield wipers on and had to go to a different location. Because the assistant manager was outside on the phone call. The customer service from the assistant manager was truly terrible. It's so poorly. That I wish I could give her a negative star review. Richard was very helpful very nice. Although he did not know how to install an item he tried his best to accommodate. read more
