This is our review of Tom Wood Audi prior to their name change. Tom Wood destroyed our 2013 Audi by an employee driving our vehicle without oil. Please see review attached.

New scuff on my steering wheel.

I made an appointment a month or two in advance for recall parts on my Audi TT. Once having the vehicle, they mentioned it may be a day or two before it was done. I asked them to tackle a small issue I have with my seat. The seat was coming apart at the seams. I wanted them to repair that on my dime to knock two birds out with one stone. Simple plastic piece to replace on each side of the seat. I live about an hour from the dealership so it is a task to get up there after work while dodging traffic. I figured the parts would take about a week to get; so that would be perfect for when the tech is ready for the airbag. Total time I figured they'd have the car was a week and a half too two weeks. Well, I was wrong. After the first week I was told the tech had only quoted half of the seat repair which changed my bill from $520 area to $900. (Aug 18) Well okay that's fine but it would've been nice to know next day or something. I was told a week later. (Aug24)I did want that fixed so I sent the ok for the repair. After another week and labor day holiday(3weeks to the day sept 7) I have gotten my car back. I had to leave work early to make it because pick ups are required before 5:25pm. First off very little thing but when I turned the car on I happened to notice it was in dynamic mode...which makes me nervous because I don't keep it in dynamic mode.... Anybody knows Audi knows that means sport mode..... There is a new scratch at the top left of my steering wheel from what looks like a key chain or zipper snag. I also received it back with the steering wheel cover off the back of the wheel. I asked if the tech could snap it back on because I didn't want to break any of the plastic clips. He managed to get it after about 5 minutes of trying in front of my girlfriend and I. Once we left I found out about the wiggly air bag. Couldn't help but notice a white static noise on my passenger door speaker as well too. Pretty frustrating. On another note, the seat repair is great. I looked over the seat and tested to see if it would lean forward. All works and looks great! Also, the total wasn't $900. It was $790. I don't know how we got there but at this point I appreciate it and I just want my car back. I know this all seems petty but I have heard about this dealership not being the best for service. I tried to go to another private shop but they wouldn't do the recall repairs due to Audi not paying them for those special repairs. I'm not accusing the techs of scratching my wheel or blowing my speakers, but I just can't help but notice the lack of attention to detail. How can you give a customer their car back when you didn't put the cover back on? Seeing it in dynamic mode makes me think somebody is being heavy on the gas petal when they don't own the car. All in all what I've gathered in my experience is; if you pay for the repairs you may be in the clear. If you don't pay for any repairs; they will be rushed and half-assed. Won't be going back to fix this wrong I will be going to another shop. I'd rather pay them to fix it correctly than give it back for free.

They got it done as fast as possible, charged me for the drain and fill, and didn't wash my car since I requested them not to. For a dealer, I think that's pretty good service.

My husband's new Hyundai Sonata's keys completely stopped functioning on December 30th. We had the vehicle towed to Napleton as it's the closest Hyundai dealership to our house. It is now February 6th and our whole experience has been a nightmare. They've had the car for over a month and we consistently cannot get a hold of the service department. We're often told we will receive a call back, but then never do. Showing up in person, the customer service is not much better and we have spent hours at the service department waiting on them. We've been given dates that the car would be finished twice now. And twice those dates have come and gone and the car is still in their shop. The last two updates we have received are directly in conflict with each other, which tells me that they either don't know what they're doing or they are lying to us. Two days ago they had the car "on the skates" but didn't have time to get to it. Today, they "can't get the car on the skates" because of the location and the snow? It's starting to feel like they are holding our car hostage and without any real explanation. If we can manage to get our car back, we will not be returning.

Then I came to the realization that the hints being dropped on me by the universe -- from sources everywhere -- indicated it's just not the time to buy the car I was going to buy. So why the five star review? I got honest advice from my salesman, all the way through the deal. Buying a car is a non-trivial financial decision; you want a person of integrity on the other side of the desk. And that's what I got. I found a BMW z4 that, while it's not the M2 I've always wanted, was one of the lowest priced, best condition vehicles of its kind available; in fact the price was "jump on this now" reasonable. So I decided to inquire. My sales consultant was Quinn Luckie. I walked in, intending to buy a BMW z4 *if* I could get a decent offer on my current car; a Volkswagen GTI. Carmax offered me a very fair price, and I wouldn't have to deal with 19 year olds wanting to take test drives, ruining my clutch in the process, so we had a deal, on the spot. I didn't want to let the z4 get away so I was willing to transfer the vehicle, get financing, and sell my car to CarMax on the spot. Quinn slowed me down (here's where the integrity slips in). He informed me that the process -- since I was transferring the car from another state -- was a bit different than I'm used to, so I backed off. After all, the car I wanted was reserved for me. So I went home, found a loan with the best rate, researched insurance, and got ready to show up a little better informed when it was actually time to do business, and then waited for the car to arrive. That took a while. CarMax addressed that. When I showed up for the test drive, the offer on my GTI hadn't changed a bit, so everything was in order. The z4 was spotless and ready to go. I was excited when we put the car in motion but things just didn't line up. Believe it or not, part of it was I didn't feel like the z4 had the fun factor I was looking for (?!!), so my partner and I decided to think it over for the evening. And I passed. I can be smarter with my money right now. Wait for an M2. Quinn gave me a hint about an M4 -- and I looked -- but I'm not going to put him through two car transfers just to balk. It's just not the time, right now. But when it is time, I very well may try Carmax again. For now, there's a hell of a roadster available for sale and you should jump on it if you're looking for one. Ask for Quinn.

The first car I purchased was in excellent condition, and I never really had any issues with it. This time around, though, the process started off really frustrating. I had a vehicle shipped in at the end of April and was originally told it would be "ready to drive" sometime between May 2nd and May 7th. The app showed it had shipped, but a week later it still showed the car hadn't arrived, and nobody from CarMax proactively communicated any delays or updates. I had to keep calling myself trying to figure out what was going on. I was eventually told the car wouldn't be ready until May 12th, which became an issue because my trade-in offer expired on the 11th. When I went into the store, I was basically told I'd have to restart the entire trade-in process because they couldn't extend the offer. At that point I was extremely frustrated and honestly considered walking away from the deal completely. Then, 30 minutes after leaving the dealership, I got a call asking when I was coming in to test drive the car. Turns out the vehicle had actually been ready, and I'd been given incorrect information by the store. The entire experience completely changed once I worked with Lisa. She was absolutely phenomenal and honestly saved this deal. If I had worked with her from the beginning, I truly believe this would've been a smooth two-day process instead of a stressful two-week one. She was knowledgeable, communicative, kind, and made everything feel effortless. If it weren't for Lisa, I probably would not have completed this purchase or recommended CarMax afterward. She was an absolute gem, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Thankfully, I finally got my vehicle and am loving it so far.

I even had a written trade-in offer $5,000 higher than what they offered me, and they still refused to honor their posted sign that says they'll beat other offers by $500. They claimed it only applied "up to a point." Then they added a $3,000 package to the car I never asked for and wasn't told I could decline. The car listed around $28k turned into over $31k after I finally got the paperwork. Fast forward to service: I was told (twice!) that my first oil change would be free, even with my non-VW car. The lady checking out even told me to call the GM because what was happening "wasn't right." This entire business feels like a bad joke.
