What happened and how it was handled: The general manager reached out and took my concerns seriously, moving the process forward and arranging a re-examination of the vehicle. Technicians could not pinpoint a exact root cause during the recheck. Their prevailing theory was that something might have been spilled in the backseat--potentially by one of my children--causing the malfunction. They confirmed they could not permanently turn off the seatbelt alarm, so we opted to use the seatbelt extender as a solution. What I appreciated I'm grateful that Tom Wood Toyota reached out for a second chance and worked with me to address the issue. Their willingness to re-test and re-evaluate shows a commitment to customer service and safety. What I would have valued more: Earlier transparency about the possibility that a spill could affect the seatbelt system. If this had been mentioned during the initial service call, it could have saved us time, grief, and their money. Clearer guidance upfront on potential causes and realistic timelines for resolution, so expectations are aligned from the start. Overall: I'm glad we found a workable path forward with the seatbelt extender, and I appreciate the GM's engagement. A bit more proactive communication at the outset would have prevented most of the back-and-forth, but I feel confident that Tom Wood Toyota is capable of handling customer concerns with care when given the opportunity.

Haven't noticed a huge difference except the engine seems to have a little more power and run a little smoother. Then the other one that had about 65,000 on it. I first took it to my local Ford dealership and asked them to check the car out and fix what needed fixing, the end result was very unsatisfactory leading to losing trust in their mechanics. I next took my Edge to a Christian Brothers auto shop in my area with the hopes of finding a trustworthy replacement for the Ford dealership. Strike Two!!! they tried to replace a part that Ford had already done . Bottom line , they tried to rip me off!!! I caught it and confronted their management. They won't get any more business from me. Moving forward to February 2026-My car started to experience front end suspension noises, AGAIN! (Ford fixed it-so I thought). I needed to find another shop that won't rip off the customer. Reputation is key! My search commenced and I found a local shop near me called "The Noble Mechanic" - (Reputation is key) I made an appointment and was assigned to service adviser Andrew. I told him my story and asked to have my car totally diagnosed and checked over again. I needed peace of mind on all previous work that was supposedly done that I was charged for. I stressed that I'm looking for a new shop to bring my family's business to. I received my car health report and was informed that the Ford dealership used NON-OEM third party parts when they repaired my front suspension. These were bad parts that didn't fit correctly and were failing. Adviser Andrew then provided options for me to consider and suggested the correct OEM equivalents over original OEM to save me $$$$. Overall, Their total car check and diagnosis is very detailed with pictures and the communication walkthrough is done with patience and clarity not rudeness and short answers. Although, I would like to see their labor rate charge of ($137.43 hr.) fully disclosed on invoices/bills (Had to ask Andrew for it) may be higher than other shops, but please consider this, you WANT a shop who employs highly trained and experienced mechanics who love cars and will NOT cut corners when repairing it. Reputation is key!!! Reviews count!! Thank you Andrew and your great team of mechanics for their work. The Noble Mechanic has earned our business going forward.

There was only one change in the estimate during the repair - they advised a new rear door rather than repairing it since the existing one had been fixed before and would therefore not be as safe as a new one. We were happy in all respects, and glad we can continue to drive our 'totaled' Prius! I strongly recommend Renner's.
