The women at the Auburn location are professional, very kind, and helpful with specialty and designer garments. However, I am seriously concerned about the man who works there. I believe he's the only man who operates in the front of the store. I am writing this formal complaint because he is consistently condescending and passive-aggressive, which is in stark contrast to the other employees. This is why I feel compelled to raise this issue and escalate my complaint about the mistreatment I've experienced as a customer by this employee. On the 18th, while I was waiting at 9:00, he came out from the back, appearing annoyed that I was there, and mumbled under his breath. When he took my bag, he remarked, "You couldn't take it out of the bag?" and added, "I don't know if there is poop or urine on your clothes." I was shocked and disgusted by his tone. I want to make it clear that I would never bring clothes like that. That is not my character, and the other associates can confirm this as I am a business professional myself. When I asked him for his name and the owner's number, he refused both requests. I have never experienced poor service from anyone else there. This man behaves in a toxic and disrespectful manner and takes no ownership of his words or actions. He claims to treat everyone the same, but I have seen him speak to others neutrally. I hope your store's cameras and audio captured the incident because I want this behavior addressed to prevent harm to your business. I would appreciate a phone call if you would like to discuss this further. To resolve this, I request a formal written apology from this employee, a commitment that he will receive customer service retraining, and that you inform me in writing of any corrective actions taken. Additionally, please outline the steps the company will take to ensure respectful treatment of customers from now on and keep me updated on your progress. Until these actions are taken and I receive confirmation, I will not return to Dooley's.

Even though her work was good, I only give 4 stars because the place is honestly terribly messy and disorganized. When you walk in, it looks like an explosion of clothes went off and there are articles of clothing everywhere - on the floors, slung across chairs, randomly on tables... everything piled on top of each other. If you don't have the ticket she gave you initially when you return to pick-up your item, it will take much longer for her to find your items and she seems confused (not something that happened from my personal experience, but I've seen it twice with the customers in front of me). If you don't mind the mess and not-so pristine cleanliness (which I just ultimately overlook), the prices are really reasonable and she does a great job.

The last one, the most important, the oldest and my favorite, she had for EIGHT months. Over the course of those months, she had time to work on many wedding dresses, which were dropped off long after my coats were. With the advent of wedding season, my coats were deprioritized. When I finally got my coat, it had been relined (which I did NOT want or ask for) and an antique button was LOST. I was sympathetic to the fact that she'd been in a bad accident, but there is not excuse for devaluing one client in favor of others. My gown was purchased bigger because of the shape it needed to fit my shoulders which are larger than the average girl. It was way too big around the waist to begin with and then I lost another 40 pounds after I purchased it. My gown was a sample dress so it had flaws such as pulled strings and missing beads. Perfect Fit made my dress fit me perfect as well as fixing all the issues it had from being a sample. He did 3 bustles and took inches off the sides of my dress and charged less than $200 for everything. I will use this business for any alteration needs in the future I am so happy! As soon as my son tried it on, the owner immediately dismissed the idea of tailoring it. Instead, he told my son--a teenager--that the blazer didn't look good on him, that it was too big, and that it didn't fit right. That was not only unnecessary, but also inappropriate. We didn't come in for his opinion on the appearance--we came for tailoring services. The owner refused to listen to what we actually wanted done and was very dismissive throughout the interaction. He claimed the alterations would be "too much" without even properly discussing options. He then started putting together what seemed like random, inflated prices on a calculator. At that point, we decided to leave because of how poorly the situation was handled. As we stepped outside, the owner followed us out and yelled, "You're mean and stupid." His behavior was aggressive and completely unprofessional. We felt uncomfortable and threatened. After I thought about it, I should have called the police. There is likely footage from nearby cameras as well. I also want to mention we were not rude, and we were very polite. **Careful everyone the owner will make a response and claim such things never happened at his establishment, like I just made up the whole thing for the hell of it, I would never write a bad review on someones establishment if it wasn't true!!**

With only days to spare before my wedding, I had to bring the suit back to Selvia to try again (big mistake). When she failed to fix her horrible mistakes, I was forced to bring the suit to a real tailor to attempt to fix the hack job performed by Dudley Alterations. The job was so bad that other tailors were laughing and appalled at her work. It was absolutely abysmal. I am currently waiting to see if the other tailor can fix the horrendous job done by Selvia at Dudley Alterations, but it's not looking good. To top it all off, when I demanded my money back for the hackjob, Selvia became extremely emotional- blamed everyone under the sun besides herself and refused to give me a refund even though I had to take the suit elsewhere to get fixed. $400 suit destroyed. Two tailors paid. Wonderful.
