I made it to my first meeting on the 5th and am hoping to get to another meeting this Wednesday. I can honestly say I was surprised to see 15 or more (I lost count!), knitters when I arrived. They had pulled the little tables together to form one very long table to the right of the room and everyone was knitting away. Socks, scarves, baby blankets, afghans, and shawls were projects I saw in the works. This group is probably the nicest group of strangers, second to Yelpers of course!, that I've met. Everyone wanted to know about each other's projects and we went around the table with introductions and a little blurb about the project she was knitting. If you're in the area and could use a little inspiration for a project, or just want the company of some really nice ladies and a hot beverage you'll love this group too! Oh, and the best part: it's free!

I called once for help with losing a needle of a very expensive set I had bought there, and I was told that my question was odd, she had never heard it before in her years of working at a yarn store. I just wanted to know if their rep or owner would have insight. I don't work for a yarn store, so I've never spoken to a rep, but I spent almost $200 on these needles and specified I wasn't seeking a refund, just help. Also, they are homophobic openly. In this, the year 2026, do better. Edit: every time I've gone in I've been followed. I have tattoos and am queer looking. I received scoffs at my questions. This solidified a decision I made in January when your staff was rude for the third time not to give you my business ever again. There's nothing to discuss. Be better.

I cannot express enough how incredible the service and products are. I ordered "table toppers" custom print on thick cardboard with easels attached. It turned out absolutely perfect and Frank was able to get it delivered to my hotel the day before the conference. Absolutely incredible. I…read moream writing this review because Pam went above and beyond when helping me with an important framed print for my daughter Sarah's rehearsal dinner. The framed print was purchased by Sarah's future mother-in-law to display at the event. She initially asked me to do the lettering--the wedding couple's names and title--on the matte, giving me less than two weeks to complete it. (I must admit, she initially thought I could do it by hand, but I didn't feel comfortable with the task.) While searching The Tin Bucket website, I saw the beautiful work Pam could do with lettering transfers. I reached out and asked if she could possibly take on this project. With a smile on her cheery face, Pam went right to work, providing possible different lettering choices within just three days! Once the lettering was agreed upon, Pam took apart the frame only to find the matte was glued to the frame itself. This is the remarkable part, especially with the rehearsal dinner just a few days away: Pam actually bought another frame and matte herself and finished the lettering! It was all done within the needed timeframe, even with the unexpected matte issue. I cannot thank Pam enough; she was professional, delightful, and truly committed to helping me. I believe this level of service is extraordinary these days, and it is so important to know we have Pam and The Tin Bucket in our town.
