I have been here in Worcester for just over two years and haves used Dooley's since day one! They have been very friendly and taken very good care of my clothes! I highly recommend! read more

I've been a loyal customer for many years, always bringing my dry cleaning to your Pleasant Street location before it closed and then to your Auburn location. The women at the Auburn location are professional, very kind, and helpful with specialty and designer garments. However, I am seriously concerned about the man who works there. I believe he's the only man who operates in the front of the store. I am writing this formal complaint because he is consistently condescending and passive-aggressive, which is in stark contrast to the other employees. This is why I feel compelled to raise this issue and escalate my complaint about the mistreatment I've experienced as a customer by this employee. On the 18th, while I was waiting at 9:00, he came out from the back, appearing annoyed that I was there, and mumbled under his breath. When he took my bag, he remarked, "You couldn't take it out of the bag?" and added, "I don't know if there is poop or urine on your clothes." I was shocked and disgusted by his tone. I want to make it clear that I would never bring clothes like that. That is not my character, and the other associates can confirm this as I am a business professional myself. When I asked him for his name and the owner's number, he refused both requests. I have never experienced poor service from anyone else there. This man behaves in a toxic and disrespectful manner and takes no ownership of his words or actions. He claims to treat everyone the same, but I have seen him speak to others neutrally. I hope your store's cameras and audio captured the incident because I want this behavior addressed to prevent harm to your business. I would appreciate a phone call if you would like to discuss this further. To resolve this, I request a formal written apology from this employee, a commitment that he will receive customer service retraining, and that you inform me in writing of any corrective actions taken. Additionally, please outline the steps the company will take to ensure respectful treatment of customers from now on and keep me updated on your progress. Until these actions are taken and I receive confirmation, I will not return to Dooley's. read more

I recently brought a comforter to be cleaned and pressed. When I went back to pick it up, I didn't realize until I opened it that it had not been pressed and was. full of wrinkles . I brought the comforterback to the sales person and told her that it had not impressed at all. She took my information and told me that she would get back to me. Proximately 10 to 15 minutes later we received a phone call saying it ready for me to pick up. We went back and picked up the quilt and took it home. When we opened it up still wrinkled. I immediately called the woman at the cleaners. She refused take any responsibility for the problem and tried to blame the hangerfur all of the wrinkles. wrinkled. read more

I went to Dooleys last minute with a bridal emergency. I had 5 days until my wedding and was in tears at the state of my gown. Barry and his team went above and beyond to help me and make my gown incredible for my wedding day. I am forever indebted to their customer service and skill at making everything from a disaster to perfect and on short time. Incredible work and service and my family and friends will be using Dooleys anytime we have a dry cleaning or tailoring need. Thank you again so much! Highly recommend!!!! Alicia Galvan read more

Not only does Dooley do a great job on dry cleaning but they also do wonderful alterations. I trust them with my very best clothes and they never disappoint. read more

New customer here. Brought in my husbands suit to be cleaned. Reasonable pricing and got a discount as a first time customer. Two gentlemen at the counter couldn't be nicer. The older gentleman is a little hard to understand but his partner was happy to help out. Picked up the suit a few days later and was pleased with the job done! Thanks Dooley's! read more

The dry cleaning seems ok, seems like everyplace else. The guy working there can't be more grumpy. Sorry to bother you by dropping off dry cleaning at your dry cleaning shop and then paying you for the service. Seriously, find a new job where you don't deal with people, like an undertaker perhaps. If I knew where there was another dry cleaner close by I would already be going there. read more

We just moved to town a few months ago and found Dooley's here on Yelp. I asked around and heard good things and they were right. Beside a few dry cleaning items, I also needed serious alterations on 2 sets of drapes, in a hurry. Well, they did an outstanding job! We couldn't be happier! Barry was so on top of his team and made sure it was done correctly. His staff was very quick, pleasant and professional when we picked up our order. Great job all around! Thanks, guys! read more

Good prices, services done exactly as specified and completed in a timely manner. I bring everything I need sewn or altered to them, one time even the button on a boot, which they had to order larger needles specifically to do and it came out great! read more

Friendly customer service? Check! Mr Bethany's shirts laundered with light starch & hangers? Check! Tailoring available when he rips his suits? Check! So glad we found our new Dry Cleaners!! read more

Cleaning was good and done before the day they said. Prices were fair. I grabbed my things on a Thursday morning. I may or may not go back. The young girl at the desk is efficient but really unfriendly. No smile. No hello. Tried to be friendly and still nothing. That is usually my deciding factor for returning somewhere. read more

I was referred to this dry cleaners after having a terrible experience with Biz Cleaners on Southbridge Street. I've been going to Dooley's for almost two years now and everything always is perfect. The entire staff is warm and funny and makes it enjoyable to do business there. I can always count on Phil and the staff to accomodate me in a pinch. Don't waste your time with the others in the area! Go to a place where the comfort zone is pleasurable! read more

The ONLY reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the friendly customer service I received from a female employee there one of the times I was in during this mess of an alteration experience. I brought in an expensive dress to be altered at Dooley's in December for a formal holiday party I was attending the following week. The dress fit perfectly, but was a long tea-length, (to my lower calf), and I needed it shortened 7 inches to make it a cocktail dress. When I picked it up, the sweet woman at the desk said, "now THAT'S a short number", and I thought the same looking at it in the bag, but I didn't try it on, (MY fault, but I trusted it would be fine since the 7 inches was a perfect measurement to where it was supposed to be). The night of the party, I realized in horror that it had been shortened more than 3+ full inches higher than we discussed, and that the attached slip underneath had been left uncut and visibly HANGING. It was unwearable, (thank goodness for a closet of cocktail LBDs!). When I brought it back to explain the situation, (after paying, and then not being able to wear it to the party, mind you), the owner acted SUPER annoyed and rushed...unapologetic, and he said for me to come back in a few days...he'd "let it down". Well, I picked it up...it's a little better, but still shorter than what we discussed, (it couldn't be let down any more because the remaining material was cut off), and at the end of the day I had to pay for a poorly modified dress that I didn't get to wear to a party. I feel that apologies, and a full refund should have been given to me, but the owner acted put off. Never again. read more

What nice, helpful, and courteous people at this place! I brought in a winter jacket with a broken zipper. They tried to fix it on the spot, but it wasn't so easily fixable. However, they did fix it later that day, and called me to say that I could come back and get it - and that there would be no charge. How nice is that? When I did pick it up I voluntarily paid a small amount; they should be paid for their services - but I appreciated the kindness. I agree with other reviewers that the young lady up front is especially friendly, which is always a nice surprise these days. read more

They dont even know how to hem shirts and jeans. When one leg is a half inch higher than the other thats a problem. Bald guy who works there is the most arrogant, unprofessional asshole also. Will never go back. read more

I would never use this cleaner. The man that owns it is soooo rude. It's as if you are doing him a real injustice if you either call his business and/or go in there to get work done. The information given over the phone, if you can get past his rudeness, is inaccurate and turns out to be a different story when you go in. I use another cleaner in town, and they are soooo pleasant as a business owner or employee should be. They have gone above and beyond in the times I have needed them to. There are other cleaners out there, that give you your money's worth. read more

I dropped off a winter jacket that needed a sleeve repaired. Nothing went right...the color sleeve out of stock. ...then I picked another color. ....long term out. I live two states away used them because I used to work not far from the establishment. They kept working with me to find a sleeve that would work. Because the jacket stayed their longer then expected just was drooped off today. Yes dropped off at my relatives house. Repaired. Cleaned.....and delivered. I would recomend this establishment to anyone. read more

I've never used their dry cleaning services but as for clothing alterations their prices were more than fair and very well done. My shirts were taken in properly, the service was excellent, and everything was completed in the time frame they gave me (a week). read more

I didn't use them but I called for a price "estimate" on cleaning a wedding dress. Guy who answered was extremely rude to me and would not answer my questions. Glad I didn't waste my time going there.. What horrible customer service, not friendly at all. read more

Stay away from this place. The boss is unprofessional and the customer service is horrible. They messed up my clothes in the cleaning process and openly argued with me even though the acknowledged it was their fault. read more

This place is way over priced, I have never paid $6.25 to have a pair of slacks cleaned. Dont know where they think they are but this is not Beverly Hills guys. First and last time I will use Dooleys. read more

They shrunk two of my husband's suits. We had pictures of him wearing both suits a month before the cleaning, we got them back and the arms were now almost 2 inches shorter and tight. They said they would take care of it and get back to us. My husband called again told owner would get back to us and he didn't. I called and the owner not only didn't have the suits anymore, but accused me of lying and trying to get one over on him. My husband had used their services for over 20 yrs and would drive 30 minutes to bring his clothes there. The owner could have cared less and never made this right. This went on for a year and we finally gave up, but will never use them again. read more
