What a great place to feel satisfied but not weighed down after. I have eaten there about 5 times now and I have never been disappointed. And not just that, everyone I have taken there has loved it, even if they were skeptical at first. It's Mediterranean-type food but don't let that scare you. You are able to see all the ingredients that will be going into your food, plus you can pick and choose everything so you're not stuck with options that you're not sure about. They also let you sample anything. You're going to find pita sandwiches, chopped salads, healthy soups, fresh juices and smoothies, acai bowls and pastries. Within those categories, the options are almost endless. They have so many options for sandwich fillings and salad mix-ins and they have a large selection of dressings and sauces you can put on anything (and now you can purchase them to take home!). This is a place where vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free and dairy-free people, as well as those who are none of those things, can easily find something they'll enjoy. Even people doing cleanses or special diets can find something there to enjoy. I have had the kale caesar salad, the asian salad, the chicken pita (with an assortment of toppings and dressings that I was feeling at the time), the cauliflower and broccoli soup, the Moroccan Lentil soup, as well as the detox and amazing green juices. I have loved EVERYTHING. And let's talk about their gluten-free cheese bread! I can't get enough of it and I didn't even know it was gluten-free until the other night. I can't rave about this place enough. This place is just not good. I also have a big issue with the fact that they sell salad dressings that contain sugar yet they don't list it on the ingredients so people think they are getting something much healthier than they are. Their sauces are not whole30 approved. read more

I'm a really big fan. My girlfriend convinced me to go once and I fell in love with it. So much so that I have become a regular. The menu is great and offers a lot of variety. I've been here several times, when it's good it's really tasty. But every other time they seem to mess up something on my order. Very frustrating, I need to be extra careful because I'm gluten free and lactose intolerant. I try to keep my order simple and explain but somehow I'm unlucky every other time. I really dig this place. This is really clean food and when you go that route you more than likely have to pay a premium for the food. That is the case here. The acai bowls are fantastic. Outside of the acai bowls the food isn't really my style so that would be why I don't give them 5 stars. Probably a 3.5 star if I could. The line is confusing and seems like there's actually three different lines but (if you're like me and it's your first time) it can be really confusing on where to go. I wanted a Acai bowl and I had no clue where to order it. I finally got somebody to answer my question (because it was super busy) and went to the cashier to order. So I guess I stood in the super long line for no reason. Let me tell you... It's crazy expensive for a small acai bowl. I understand why but dang $9 for a fruit bowl for lunch is going to break the bank if I continue to get it. I got the pattaya one and added granola for an extra $1. It was good but I wish there was honey or something in it. Overall, it was good but not the best food or experience. I might go back for a salad but who knows. read more

I really love the food here. The last time we were in town we had a great experience. I even wrote a good review giving Aubergine 5 stars. This time, our experience was much different. I'm basing my review on their service and not their food. Aubergine opens at 8am and they serve breakfast until 10:30am. When I showed up at 8:00, there were people working but no one greeted me. Ok. Then after a few minutes a gal told me that they are kitchen workers and don't take orders. No one was there to take orders! What?! I asked if she called the manager and she replied that the other worker did. No answer from the manager! I said that this was bad business and that they were losing customers. I even called 2 more times to see if anyone was in to take my order. I ended up searching Yelp for more places to eat and ended up going to Kneaders. Not my favorite but it was food. And as a side note, I called again 2 more times this morning at 8:00 to see if they were up and running and no answer. A note to the owner and manager: if your staff are not present at opening time get someone in that will be ready to start at 8:00. Or, move back the time you open. Perhaps cross-training people to maintain good business would be helpful too. Either way I hope this helps in letting you know how you can improve. If it were me, I would want to know. read more

I eat healthy and I make my own meals, but I was tired from running errands all day and wanted something healthy that I didn't have to make. Surprise! Utah county doesn't have many of those places, but I remembered I had seen an interesting little place by Sprouts where I do my grocery shopping so I told my husband I wanted to try it. I got a small chopped salad with wild salmon, kale/spinach, strawberries, blueberries, pecans, edamame, avocado and tomatoes and the medium cranberry dressing. I love that I asked what was in their dressing and they told me exactly! That has never happened to me! My body felt good and happy (and really full afterwards!). My husband had the falafel sandwich and my daughter got a cheese panini that she loved. Definitely recommend the amazing food! The only thing I didn't like was that my husband asked for a wild salmon and then they ask for a protein so he said falafel. He thought he was getting an extra, but the person that helped him hadn't heard he wanted salmon. The same happened when he ordered the panini for my daughter. We just wanted the panini, not the combo with the drink but the guy said it came with it, then we were charged for a combo when we hadn't meant to order one. The girl that helped me was the best! The guy that helped my husband could have been better. We need to go back for the acai bowls. I want to try one! read more

Having friends who are vegan, We've gone to quite a few "healthy" food restaurants. Aubergine and company is by far the best we've been to. We ordered the cauliflower rice bowl with chicken and pina cogreen smoothie and they were both delicious! The chicken's got a kick to it, really yummy and I loved the sweet potatoes. The smoothie was really tasty without being overly sweet. There were so many more items on the menu we want to try. Definitely will come back every chance we get. read more

Honestly, this place isn't that great. The prices are too high for the average food served. I had a falafel salad and tomato soup, and the falafel was incredibly dry and the soup was tasteless. All of the ingredients were pretty bland, and the staff isn't very friendly. My sister got an acai bowl, which tasted ok, but there are better options in Utah county. this place is a rip off! got a salad with steak, cheese, and avocado and they charged me $15 because everything is a "premium" topping for $1.25. i essentially paid $10 for lettuce and then 1.25 per topping i wanted. in addition, the size of avocado they put on is pathetic. i can get a better salad for much cheaper and better quality at 10 other places in the area. i will always pay extra for good quality and customer service/loyalty. but i will never come back. read more

I really love the feel of this place, I have never met a more enthusiastic staff. I enjoy their acai bowls very much, every single ingredient they use it fresh! I received my order rather quickly, however, they do make your order as you request so if you have an allergy you can tell them right away and you'll still get your food on time. After hearing that there was a healthy and delicious cafe in Orem, I had to try it. Aubergine is decorated very nicely inside and has a really good vibe going on. The menu was a headache and very confusing, and the line you have to walk down when ordering and paying is split into these weird little sections, also very confusing and annoying. It took a bit to make my salad because they chop it fresh and mix it right in front of you. This is where things started to get better. My salad was delicious and loaded with flavor and fresh ingredients. I got the chicken dream salad which has a jalapeño dressing which I got mixed with the cranberry salad. It had the perfect amount of spice. The cheese bread that came with it was to die for. It seriously was so good. I got the pitaya bowl for dessert which is like an acai bowl covered in blueberries and bananas. Truly a masterpiece. read more

So much flavor packed in so many different ways in the many different bites. This is the second time I've visited and my guests all loved the experience. It is one of the most different types of food that you can eat in all of Utah County. And even though it is so unique and "foreign" to most, the quality of ingredients and rich flavors will be universally liked by anyone who can appreciate what good food really can be. We love aubergine! My husband says its the only salad he can get without worried about being hungry afterwards. They are super clean, super healthy salads and dressings.
