UPDATE TO THE NIGHTMARE: AS soon as we posted the review below, Paul (Sales/Principal of company)…read morecalled us. He wants to all the sudden make everything right. Wants us to move forward. We asked him to come to our home to view the issues and discuss with us. He came today 6/17, never looked at anything. He is ill apparently, so he sat at one end of the pool and took notes of what we said. He stated they would have a meeting and get back to us. A couple hours later he calls with an offer $2200.00 or he fixes the issues. I said so you are trying to buy us off? Basically! I told him I would have to call him back after speaking with my husband. I call back to let him know we want the issues fixed not his pay off and that we would like to know/scheduled of when the repairs/work would take place. To which he said is impossible but he will do his best. He states everything has imperfections and its not even a big deal. Again, he didnt look at the pool closely and most issues are only seen when you are in the pool, because that's when you can see the complete inside of the concrete, bull nose, trim areas. Only if we sign a NDA would he remedy the items that his crews and him should have take care of already! Actually, never should have been left like this to begin with. I refused to sign the NDA and take down my reviews prior to the work as he wanted. So, we are left with a poor job by Aquamarine pools still. NIGHTMARE!!!!! I honestly cannot believe the reviews here, my husband and I had nowhere close to the experience that others are posting. These have to be paid reviews based on our experience. To date, we still have issues that need to be resolved and as usual Toinette says it's up to the mason guy or up to me to contact their contractor. I have received many rude texts and emails during the entire process from the team, to include Paul (sales) and Toinette as well. Our so-called new pool looks like we have had it for 10 years due to the poor workmanship. We had trenches in our yard for much longer than we should have as they didnt even know they were there supposedly. How did they not know they dug them and left them. Was told pool school Paul would clean up all their trash and fill in our trenches. Of course, when he arrived he laughed and said that's not his job. Toinette said it's just small areas until I sent her pics to let her know what we were actually dealing with. He also laughed when we asked him when we would need to use Jacks magic pink stuff that was listed as a must have item to have. Spent $89 on it and Paul said we don't need it. (they will not take them back so out of pocket here also) I made multiple complaints and not once did anyone come out to look at the nightmare we were dealing with. They blatantly did not care, DO NOT care and are awful at customer service. They get your money and then leave you with a disaster of a pool. We are still left with an unsatisfactory job. There is way too much to even put in this review. I attached pictures and screenshots as proof of our nightmare experience here posted there. Project start date was 4/1/2024. Hopefully no one else receives the same treatment as we did. I really hate having to post such things but this entire experience has left me with many sleepless nights and a lot of stress and I think they should take some accountability for how they have treated myself, my husband and our home. Who wants to have wasted $65K??!!! If anyone wants more information I would be happy to provide.

After about…read morean hour of considering the possibilities on Saturday evening, we realized my boyfriend's buddies were certain to break the tub and likely to hurt ourselves if we attempted it. I called as soon as they opened Monday. Austen had a crew in the area and in 45 minutes, these guys were on it. 25 minutes later it was on the pad and Austen even gave me a few pointers as I was a new owner. Obviously, this quick of a response was partial perfect timing, but these guys were professional in both their service, knowledge & skill. I've saved the number for when I need another move or storage in the future.

Over the course of the two weeks leading up to my spa being delivered I never received one call back from The Spa Movers and only spoke to someone (Austin) on the off chance that he picked up when I called. It took numerous calls and voicemails before I actually spoke with Austin to receive a quote for the move. We discussed the price and how we would wait till I had a definite window that our delivery truck would be dropping the spa off at our house. We were given a delivery day/time by our delivery truck and again I called Austin multiple times before reaching him to schedule the move. He scheduled his move with us for Friday afternoon and then just completely no showed/no called us. We had literally talked to him just a couple hours before his scheduled time to make sure he had my husbands number since I had to be at work. It has now been 5 days and he has not returned a single call, voicemail, text or email. I don't know how a business can run so unprofessionally. Not only did it suck that we had a giant hot tub living in our driveway until we found someone else to move it for us but we're building a deck around this tub that all had to come to a complete halt as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

After months of frustration, unfulfilled promises, and ongoing damage to my property, I've decided…read moreto share my personal experience with Blue Haven Pools and Spas regarding the construction and failure of my pool. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the serious issues -- including structural cracks, leaking, tile hazards, and damage to surrounding landscaping -- I've been met with delays, deflection, and blame-shifting. They don't bother to return call, respond in a timely manner and when I gave them a heads up that I will be publishing this video, they had the audacity to say that they will NOT be "extorted". But whatever they do in within the rights and outside their control. DOUBLE STANDARDS That they have a lawyer on their team to respond is a clear indication that they have done things wrong and hiding behind legal language etc. to run away from their responsibilities. The conveniently say they have put the claim to the insurer and they are waiting on them when they promised lifetime guarantee during their sales pitch which since then they have back tracked on. LIARS LIARS to the core This video documents: https://youtu.be/kjhQ_0ZdL7M The damages caused by Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) Ongoing leaks and dangerous conditions The builder's failure to honor their promises A timeline of my communication efforts The emotional and financial impact this has had on my family As a consumer, I have the right to share my honest experience -- not as a threat, but as a warning to others. The gift that keeps on giving. When they remodeled my pool a while back, they cracked one of my…read moreskimmers -- which they acknowledge was their fault. They "fixed" it at their cost. What I'm unfortunately just now finding out is that the fix was nothing more than a temporary patch that's now causing other problems. They coated the inside of the skimmer including joint between the skimmer and pipe with epoxy, which also filled in all the threads that are used to screw in a standpipe or other equipment that is used to facilitate other types of pool maintenance and repair. Which brings me to today. I have a leak somewhere underground between my skimmer & my pump. The repairman I had out would like to simply to simply screw his equipment into the skimmer to pressurize it -- so he can then find the leak by listening with something like a fancy stethoscope. The problem is that because of the amateur repair job done years ago he cannot screw anything into the skimmer, nor he can any of his bladders seal because the epoxy job is all uneven and irregular. He has a plan B but it's not as easy and will cost more. Live and learn.

I would never build with any other pool builder again. Master Pools is the best. They stand…read morebehind their work and do amazing work! When I checked the bottles I realized I was not sold Muratic acid but "Acid Magic" which is not the same and contains buffers and other ingredients I did not want in my pool. When I came back in the store to return the acid, I was told the "Acid Magic" I was sold was the same thing as Muratic acid. I said it wasn't, that it had other ingredients, and I also said I didn't want to overpay for something I didn't want. At this point the store manager became combative and tried to convince me that regular Muratic acid I wanted was the same as the "Acid Magic". He then said the regular Muratic acid was more expensive. When I said I'd like to simply exchange for the regular Muratic Acid he then refused. I'm assuming he knew at this point he was lying about the price and didn't want me to find out. After this, another worker seemed to calm him down a bit and eventually sold me the standard Muratic acid and processed the return. The "Acid Magic" was sold for $17.99 per gallon versus the standard Muratic Acid at $14.99 per gallon. In addition the "Acid Magic" is listed as "31.45% equivalent" whereas the standard Muratic acid is 33%. After I complained that I just had wanted what I asked for, and he didn't need to get upset, he told me to get out of his store, and that I "better run". He then followed me out of the store following me onto the sidewalk and getting up in my face in a threatening manner. I asked why he was threatening me and if i should call the cops, at which point he said "go ahead, you'll bleed more than me." For reference, the Acid Magic can cause problems with heaters because of phospates: https://www.troublefreepool.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acid#Acid_Magic
