I've been here twice and both times it was completely unprofessional, on my second day that I got rescheduled for they were 2 hours behind due to a DPS appointment none of the testers knew about. I was barely 5 minutes late when I arrived and I waited for the manager, to only be told that I needed evidence for my reschedule when he was the one who put me for my appointment. Whenever I combatted his statement with the papers that he has up on his wall saying that I would just have to wait until other testers were finished he got frustrated and kicked me out due to arguing. Overall a horrible experience I wouldn't recommended anyone come here. I would also agree it's like he is looking for any excuse not to test anyone and just get them out the way, a horrible way to run a business. read more

What the hell does "You're a good driver, but you're too nervous. You need to take a 2 hour driving class here and come back." mean anyway? That's a $250 class that is unnecessary! I taught my kid how to drive. We've driven all over Austin, through Oak Hill construction, to Wimberely and Blanco day and nighttime. They also passed the parallel parking just fine and we only practiced that 1 time because they intuitively got it right away. read more

My daughter's driving test was cancelled twice. The second time it was only an hour and a half before it was scheduled to start. We never got refunded our money, so I had to take it up with my credit card company. Turns out they charged me twice. We had also purchased a package of seven lessons and my daughter told me the instructor was taking calls most of the time and not really teaching her. Please, please DO NOT use this company at all. The owner or operator of this Driving School is absolutely unprofessional. I have never met anyone treat their customer so poorly. I bought a package of six driving sessions and only two of them were fulfilled. One of the sessions that was not fulfilled was indeed my fault because my daughter was not available and it was a last minute cancel. I will take ownership of that. But the other ones I have tried to schedule & it never happened. The constant calling & texting was never answered by a person. I'm not sure who's running this show, but you can tell that there is very little experience when it comes to customer service and attention to detail. We got off to a slow start but My son passed and KK was patient. He is a driver now which is great.

The problem was, I was told I was late for my test but I was actually early but they want you there 15 minutes early. So they made me go to the end of the line which I waited 1/12 hours to drive. It was a punishment because I was there in plenty of time and even though they made me wait, they messed around and was unorganized. So finally my time to drive and I was so hot and a nervous wreck from all the chaos I witnessed. I failed. I took off work and they had no respect for my time even after paying $95 for nothing. Posting here, only because the owner of this company responded to my Google review with some b.s. and I couldn't respond because google doesn't have that feature, and I couldn't update my review because it was maxed out, so here's my further response... for those interested in the O.G. review, look the school up on Google and you'll see it for context. To the owner, I have a few points... I don't know the way you do things generally, but again, based on your review responses when you get a negative review, you find a way to turn the microscope around on the reviewer. This shows a lack of accountability, and the way you do it shows a major lack of maturity, or concern to maintain proper business ethics and conduct. On to the response you provided to my review... - To post a very small portion of the conversation that was had, of course, the portion that happened after payment was secured, and to act like that was the conversation and your business practices weren't shady... SHADY - When your employee misleads someone who is very clearly asking for "Austin Driving School", multiple times in the phone conversation, into paying $95 for a test at a different school... SHADY - To lie to my son, telling him he missed his appointment and someone was there with the time blocked off for the test, and then try to charge him a missed appointment fee or whatever you call it, when a person already (over)paid $95 for it, and when your business tried to change the appointment day/time after the appointment was paid for, and when the customer was ready for the appointment but nobody was at your business to pick up the phone by the time of the appointment, and your own employee who the communication was managed through the day before and who tried to reschedule, told us that nobody was there, but that she was on the way there... SHADY - To start talking down to my son like he was your own son, before getting checked by his father who you obviously didn't realize was listening to the conversation... SHADY - To call and text my son after I posted my review on Google, to HARRASS him and try to get my contact information... I'm pretty sure that's ILLEGAL, and yes, SHADY - To essentially berate and talk down to another 15 year old customer who posted a review of her own, obviously terrifying experience, and turn it around on her calling her naive and a scared little girl who needs to grow up... I took my brother here to take his road test because there were no available appointments at the dps. Apparently the instructor was rude and unprofessional during the entire process. He almost didn't let my brother take his test because he was accusing him of not completing driver's ed because he received his certificate when he was 17 but now is 18, saying he should've done the adult course. This is complete nonsense because I had done the same thing and I still was able to take my test at the dps 3 years ago. Then during the test, he was yelling, belittling, threw a pen, and reached over to honk at others on the road all while my brother was behind the wheel. If anyone has any common sense, you can see how potentially dangerous this could be. So for an instructor to be doing this while someone else is behind the wheel, I wonder how they even got a license themselves. I get that everyone has bad days, but that is absolutely no way to be treating your customers who paid almost $100 for a service you provide. My brother thankfully passed, but he got so many points taken off that I think were unfair. Also after the test, the instructor made my brother give him a good review. I have now told my brother to delete it and write an honest one. I also saw his response to my brother's new review and he completely mistaken him for the wrong person so that made me chuckle. To anyone reading this, please do not go here and do not trust the good reviews because the majority of them were probably written by force.
