A special thank you to the instructor, Victor, who went above and beyond while working with my daughter. He made her feel comfortable and confident during her driving test, which really helped calm her nerves. His patience and encouraging attitude made a big difference, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students' success. Overall, I highly recommend Wilco Driving School to anyone looking for a supportive and professional learning environment.

If you are anxious about driving, have experience but need more practice, or have never driven before and starting from scratch, this is the place for you! My kids had Mr. Vinklarek (son) and Mr. Turtultubu (daughters) who were professional, patient, and kind. They actually instilled a love of driving simply by their calm and pleasant demeanor. Both also have a great sense of humor! I admit, this place is still a tad pricier than the others, but you get what you pay for, and isn't learning one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do in adult life totally worth it?

They explained everything clearly and helped build her confidence behind the wheel. Safety was always a top priority, and communication with parents was excellent. We truly feel this program prepared her to be a responsible and confident driver. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for quality driver education. Special thanks to Ms Angela & Ms Sherry! We enrolled our daughter at Hutto Driving School back in November 2024, and while I'm sure the…read moredriving instructors are fine or even great at their jobs, the school's scheduling system is a complete joke. The ongoing problem is that they only allow you to sign up for two time slots at a time, which is a huge limiting factor, but the real issue is the availability. The only free slots they offer are between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM during the week and the remaining 5pm to 7pm and 7pm to 9pm are always taken.....Completely unrealistic since our daughter doesn't get out of school until 4:20 PM and we don't get off work until 5pm. On top of that, even when slots do open up, they fill up almost instantly, and by the time we log in to try and grab one, they're gone. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with this constant battle. I'll give them credit for having some slots occasionally free up, but the process is so rushed and unreliable that it's practically useless. Overall, the school and instructors might be great, but they clearly don't offer enough time slots to accommodate students like my daughter.

My daughter took her DPS test there and he was very thorough at the end letting my daughter know what she needed to work on. Great advice that I didn't even know as a seasoned driver.

The instructor, Allan, came across as very intimidating and seemed to have a very specific way he wanted things done. It felt like he believed his way was the only correct way to drive. What bothered me most was that even when my kid was doing something safe and correct, it seemed like it wasn't good enough simply because it wasn't being done in the exact way Allan expected. After the second attempt, where my kid drove very well, we still didn't get the license. The whole experience left me with the strong impression that if you want to pass their test, you're expected to first take their classes and learn their particular driving style. It felt less about whether the driving was safe and correct and more about whether it matched the instructor's preferred method. What's interesting is that several of my kid's friends had similar experiences with Allan and described him as being quite mean and intimidating. We eventually went to the DMV and had a completely different experience. The DMV instructor was calm, professional, and actually gave useful tips. My kid passed without any hassle. My advice to parents: if you're going to Travis Driving School just for the license test, think twice. If you do go, I would strongly recommend asking for a different instructor than Allan, as my kids friends had better experiences without him. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Travis Driving School for the test-only option.

I am not a Christian. I did not sign up for a religious experience. If I wanted spiritual guidance, I would have gone to church, which I won't, because that is simply not who I am. Teach me to drive. That is literally your one job. George is also arrogant, acrimonious and loves to moralize at you like you are sitting in his congregation. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable and frankly offensive. Keep your religious views to yourself, this is a driving school not a place of worship. The cars are another story altogether. Ancient, dirty and falling apart. Every single lesson I was just hoping the car would survive long enough to get me back. It was embarrassing honestly, let alone unsafe. I walked away after spending so much money having learned absolutely nothing about driving. Not one useful thing. I joined Coastline Academy shortly after and the difference is night and day. Being there has shown me exactly how much this school dropped the ball and how little they actually care about teaching you anything. Avoid this scrapyard of a place. Seriously. Go anywhere else.
