Both also have a great sense of humor! I admit, this place is still a tad pricier than the others, but you get what you pay for, and isn't learning one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do in adult life totally worth it?

A Craigslist instructor in Austin who dropped me mid-lesson for calmly asking not to be shouted at. Being a young woman who looked even younger -- and dared to set boundaries - meant I was often treated like I didn't belong behind the wheel. Then I found Robert. He was calm, patient, and never once made me feel small for learning. His steady presence helped me rebuild confidence and feel safe behind the wheel. I passed my road test on the first try--and more importantly, I've been driving confidently ever since. I didn't leave a review back then, but I'm writing one now--because sometimes the things that shape us most don't get acknowledged in real time. Thank you, Robert. I consider this as fraud to sign someone up for an unrelated service (just because it has to do with cars?) just because you signed up for their class. If you don't catch it on your credit card statement you'll be paying it forever because of how they charge it. It'll follow your credit card account even if you cancel that number and get a new one issued.

I had two solid instructors from a driving school in Boston who helped me pass my exam on my first try, and I can honestly say that George was an even better instructor. I found him to be very professional and efficient in his instruction. We spent about the first third of the time going through several scenarios and how I should respond in each (who has the right of way, lane positioning, etc). I honestly found this part very valuable because I was able to reinforce my understanding of the rules of the road, and was primed for the subsequent driving portion of the lesson. George is a excellent instructor who will teach you how to drive systematically to protect yourself by giving yourself enough space and time to react to changing conditions and telling you key targets that you should be looking out for when driving. My wife, who does not yet have her license, is looking forward to taking the four lesson package!

Keep your religious views to yourself, this is a driving school not a place of worship. The cars are another story altogether. Ancient, dirty and falling apart. Every single lesson I was just hoping the car would survive long enough to get me back. It was embarrassing honestly, let alone unsafe. I walked away after spending so much money having learned absolutely nothing about driving. Not one useful thing. I joined Coastline Academy shortly after and the difference is night and day. Being there has shown me exactly how much this school dropped the ball and how little they actually care about teaching you anything. Avoid this scrapyard of a place. Seriously. Go anywhere else.

We took the online course to get his permit, which was super easy and convenient. Once he had his permit, they continued to support us through every step. We even got to take the DPS road test at their school, and the girls helped us get a same-day appointment at DPS! The test took 15 minutes and he passed! While getting his license, we learned the gentleman who gave the test , previously worked for their office and is the best type of professional to teach drivers ed. Great to hear he is still serving our community by being an instructor. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and timely. The location itself is comfortable and super clean. I highly recommend National Driver Training for your teen driver.

And the office staff took care of the application submission process ensuring that everything was handled correctly. Highly recommend. Be sure to choose the option to avoid a trip to DPS by paying the $100 fee to take the road test at the school and the $25 fee to submit the application for you. You'll wait a little longer to get the physical license, but it's less of a hassle.

We enrolled our daughter at Hutto Driving School back in November 2024, and while I'm sure the…read moredriving instructors are fine or even great at their jobs, the school's scheduling system is a complete joke. The ongoing problem is that they only allow you to sign up for two time slots at a time, which is a huge limiting factor, but the real issue is the availability. The only free slots they offer are between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM during the week and the remaining 5pm to 7pm and 7pm to 9pm are always taken.....Completely unrealistic since our daughter doesn't get out of school until 4:20 PM and we don't get off work until 5pm. On top of that, even when slots do open up, they fill up almost instantly, and by the time we log in to try and grab one, they're gone. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with this constant battle. I'll give them credit for having some slots occasionally free up, but the process is so rushed and unreliable that it's practically useless. Overall, the school and instructors might be great, but they clearly don't offer enough time slots to accommodate students like my daughter.

Rachel was SO helpful in helping us get booked and she warmly welcomed us today. I've been known to be a little bit of a dare devil but I was truly terrified as we went through our safety briefing...there's so much to know, so many turns and water hazards and ahhhhh!!! I listened intently, trying to soak everything in...I had to remember to keep it smooth, and listen to the instructor....ok, got it. My boyfriend drove first-3 laps around the track. I got to watch where he was on the track and when he finished his drive, I was up. I got into the car and let Steve, the instructor, know I was terrified. Steve was an absolute legend!!! He gave calm instructions and really made the experience fun! He's a class act and a total professional-even when I fishtailed a smidge he quickly grabbed the wheel and helped me correct it and then calmed my nerves to get my mind back on track. The whole experience was outstanding! If you're able to do it-go for it! These guys made sure we had memories for a lifetime!

I looked for a Corvette, because it's his favorite car, but they didn't have one. He drove the Ferrari Portofino. He had 2 laps with an instructor and 3 laps where he drove. I also paid for the video plus photo package. We got the video but no photo. Nevertheless it was so much fun. There were a lot more people than I anticipated driving that day. You have to wait your turn and they give you helmets to wear. The track has several turns and reminded me of a driving game. He had so much fun. He said he would love to do it again! If you can afford it, try it. I have to say the price was cheaper than a couple other places that offer this type of service in Texas. Everyone I saw leaving looked really happy.
