Great experience. They made this process teaching my daughter how to drive very easy. They have…read moresimulators to assist in driving skills before they start the drive times with the instructors. For the drive times they have 2 students at a time so they observe another student driving before they start driving. My daughter felt comfortable with the drive instructors, they gave instant feedback and she developed confidence pretty quickly. She had a practice road test on her last drive time. By the time she took the real road test with one of their instructors she was well prepared. It was easy to schedule the drive times online, and they also had the 30 hour practice log online so we could add the hours we took her driving to meet the texas requirements. One of the best parts for me was not having to schedule a DPS appointment to take her road tests results to and get her drivers license. There is a DPS portal now so after the road test you have the option to have Roadworthy upload the drive documents (log, drive school certificate, road test results). If you choose you can take the sealed envelope to DPS to a scheduled appointment. If you opt to use the portal you will receive an email in 3-5 business days and if DPS has accepted the documents you are approved to upgrade the license online, pay and print the paper copy. This was the easiest of all my children and this was #5. The staff was also helpful and friendly at each step. I highly recommend!

She has a pre-test lesson that helps prepare the students for the driving test. Also, she's super knowledgeable and helpful with the process of getting everything that's required to get the drivers license. Brinkley's Driving school was able to take care of All of the paperwork so we didn't need to hassle with getting an appointment at DPS. We're So grateful!!! Two people came in yelling and cussing at the teacher wanting a refund because the teacher didn't complete his end. I didn't think too much of it at the time. I just felt bad for my daughter because she gets really bad anxiety anytime anybody yells, so she didn't want to return. The class and the driving part had already been paid in full. San Marcos driving school was closing and moving to new braunfels, so we opted to do "parent taught driving lessons." After fighting with the instructor for MONTHS we finally got the paperwork saying brooke finished the class portion. He would not mail the forms, he insisted that we drive to NB to pick them up. When my husband and I got there he had me waiting for 45 min just to hand me the paper because he "lost" it. Even though he knew someone was coming to pick it up. Then you have to wait 6 months after your permit to get your license. That brings us to today..... today I took my daughter to Texas driving school to sign up for her driving test so she can get her license. The amazing lady behind the desk informed me that the paperwork that I turned in his only half finished. That parent taught driving lessons have to be approved and have special forms. That everything we had was not sufficient to get her drivers license. Now remember the class was paid in full for the driving portion and the class portion with no refund. Now today I had to pay another $420 on top of what my in-laws had paid, to get the mandatory driving portion of it finished and the paperwork transferred so that it was all not for nothing. Never in 1 million years would I recommend San Marcos driving school or the ass hat that runs it. He was extremely unprofessional and very dismissive. He was asked multiple times if we needed anything for the parent taught courses and we were told repeatedly no that we just needed to keep a log. Save your time and go to Texas driving school in Kyle or anywhere else for that matter. Do not give your money to this thief who refuses to refund anything even tho his job was not finished!!! What an awesome experience!!! We drove down from Dallas to take my 16 year old son to do a one day…read morecourse and it was one of the most exciting days ever. They have a really neat program to teach drivers the techniques for rally driving and it works. Wes and Scott were super and really focused on safety and having fun. Their program is focused on showing you what needs to be done, doing the skills, taking a break to let is soak in, and then doing it again. It's very well structured and by the end of the day they were doing the slalom course with a lot of confidence. As for the team, I didn't meet anyone at Rally Ready that wasn't outgoing, personable, and just plain nice. They love rallying, but are genuinely good people. It's not about pulling people in to stack the house, but about teaching a subject which they are passionate about. Thank you Wes, Scott, Dave and the whole team at Rally Ready for making my son's experience the best ever.

We were looking for a place to continue practicing high level tumbling, after stepping away from…read morefull gymnastics, and the gym not offering dedicated floor/tumbling at the time. Shows Texas Storm offered tumbling level 4+, after going to a trial, we quickly realized there wasn't actually emphasis on high level tumbling. Tumbling class could only be performed in a sliver of the gym. The coach was great and seemed excited to work with my daughter, who was much more advanced than the class. He did explain that there will be more opportunity to practice tumbling on the actual floor, so we decided to move forward. I tried registering for the class, it said to call. I called, no answer, left messages- no call back. I suppose if you are interested in the tumbling aspect- high level tumbling class I'd just find a gymnastics gym that has the space and time for tumbling class. They will be better fit for high level floor/tumbling etc. and the needed space if it's offered. Mostly the class skill was not high level or even as they called it level 4+, however we were willing to give it a try with the coach that seemed interested to work with a skilled athlete. The lack of communication ultimately helped us realize that it wouldn't have been a good fit.
