I'm on CCS and going back to work. The staff refused to let my girls in daycare today over $5.50 from a late fee. I paid them $91 on Monday to cover all meals until August 14th and had a late fee already added to the total. I was struggling to pay for the meals since I just started working on July 18th. Then the girls and I were sick from July 28th and could not return to school/work until August 7th per doctor's orders. I missed an entire week of work. Kaitlyn, the owner's daughter, was very aggressive with me when I tried talking to her. She said everyone has had struggles and too bad. She escalated the situation by following me all the way out to the parking lot, berating me and yelling that it was their policy, and she would be reporting me to CCS for failure to pay. I'm so upset that my babies were there and how unprofessional she was. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place will teach you the goody goodies you need to know about math. See I'm only in 6th grade but I have learned most of the things in 6th grade, and I'm boutta learn the things in 7th. Everyone here is friendly, even the vegetarians (alan), -is a joke- and they supply you with everything you need to learn in math. In mathnasium there are instructors, and when you go in, you get your binder, (they supply it) and you pick where you sit, if there is not enough people at one table, and another has too many, then you will have to sit with the one with less people, to keep balance. I used to be garbage can at math, but ever sense I got here, it was like blessing the rains down in Africa. I recommend this place to anyone, EVEN IF YOUR GOOD AT MATH, still come here. I was drawn to this place due to the Spanish immersion and while I cannot say she has picked up much Spanish (yet) her vocabulary has exploded tremendously since being there. This is a family-run business with a range of caregivers younger, middle aged, and older. I have had nothing but good encounters with each of them and what stands out is that all of them can tell me about my child. This lets me know that the ratio of caregivers to child is small enough and/or that communication is good between employees. While this is not a state-of-the-art facility, the director takes the time to communicate with parents about the child, going as far as texting me pictures on occasion. The one time my daughter fell off a toy slide, she communicated and texted a picture of that immediately (it was nothing really). In other words, I feel like the employees care and my child is safe. I have not been inside much due to COVID-19 restrictions but on occasion I have been invited in to observe my daughter's classroom. Again, this is not a fancy place but it is up to standards and clean. I will say, it is up to the parent to inquire about the child's day as they don't really volunteer a lot of information if not prompted. I don't think is necessarily lack of transparency they just don't have a protocol for daily reporting. In their defense any major concerns are disclosed promptly (i.e. child threw up, has a diaper rash, is low on diapers, etc.). Its more the little things they don't offer unless you ask (how did they nap? Did they eat well? what was their mood? etc.). Another note is that there have been times I am returned the wrong bedding or clothing to wash over the weekend, so clearly label your child's belongings. I don't see a reason to make a big stink about this as eventually, everything is returned and with a sizable daycare these things seem inevitable to me, I only mention them because I know some parents are very particular. Overall I think they deserve 5 stars if you are not picky about the small things and are mostly concerned with safety, transparency, and staff who genuinely care about your child.

His learning has progressed so much since starting here and they are always doing fun projects in his class. I love to see the things he brings home everyday and hear him talk about his classmates and what they did that day. Only downside is they don't take infants, so I have to go to two daycares, but as soon as my other child turns one, I will be sending him here too. Some other pluses: very affordable compared to others I know of and they provide lunch!
