When we unenrolled him I made an appointment with the director that was rescheduled with 30 minutes notice. When I showed up later at the rescheduled time the director wasn't there and it took 40 minutes for her to finally show up. She asked how my son was doing and I told her about his failing grade and she basically rushed the "meeting" to get me out the door. There was no concern, nothing. As far as her "working with" the teachers to better support my child that never happened. Disappointing doesn't even cover it. I have since contacted Jamie Sincata to speak about our experience twice and she has said both time Tom, the owner, would be reaching out. It's been two weeks and that still hasn't happened. Save your money and time, go elsewhere.

And when brought to the principles attention, they had the audacity to accuse the parents of the child not getting enough sleep. I mean... what kind of response is this? Total lack of accountability, not acknowledging the damage done to the child and how unprofessional the teacher acted. We found out about this behavior because another student was going home upset!!! Other children were traumatized by the way the teacher had been treating their friend/ classmate! The damage done by bullying has affects that stick with people for years! Look at how many horror stories of kids ending their life from bullying. And this school is fostering it! Allowing and defending the teachers who are doing it. I am sick. Disgusted. And furious. Needless to say, if you are a parent with a child that requires a little bit of more assistance, you know how exhausting it is to find someone who actually CARES and wants to help your child. Anyhow! A parent from the last daycare suggested Immersion Montessori Academy and I decided to give them a chance. After touring the school and talking to the owners I knew in my heart this was the place for him. Since my child can have a hard time with changes, they were very understanding and decided to give us a trial week where he could come and experience the school, and we could make a decision after the week. By the second day of our test week, I could see a huge difference in my kid. He was happier and more excited to go to school (before he would scream every time we took him to daycare). It's been only a little bit over a month, but the difference I've seen in my child is huge. He is even talking more and you can tell he loves going to the school. The owners have also been so kind to help me with potty training and they even bought him the same potty seat he has at home so he would feel more comfortable. That action alone, I would have never expect from the past daycare. That just shows how much they care for the kids and they want to see them succeed. Last but not least, they are a full spanish-immersion school, which was very important to me since I want my kid to be able to speak and understand my native language. Also, the tuition covers meals and snacks, which I think is wonderful.

This is a small school, unlike your bigger "La Petite" and "Luvn Care" (not bad mouthing these schools by the way). Both of my children went to this school, and I have always been happy with the results. My oldest is kind, loving, and a very well rounded child. Whenever there was an issue it was addressed. ( In some rare cases I've had to ask more than once but it was nothing major.) My youngest is currently in one of the toddler rooms so as for the first review posted on this school, I'd have to say I'm sorry this person felt that way and I will question the director about all that was stated. I will say thou, there was one teacher that I did not care for in my daughter's room. I can understand people having a bad day, but she seemed generally unhappy. Then come to find out that the teacher was no longer there. I had wanted to ask but I decided that it was none of my business. However, since January I have felt a difference in the atmosphere of the classroom. It seems more relaxed and the kids always look happy. I have never had a problem with the lead teacher of the room. She has always kept me informed about everything going on in my child's day and i feel like she genuinely cares about the children and their families.
