Tucked into a corner of an old school is one large room for new books, and two smaller ones for used books. It's very clean and orderly, and they have a good selection of home-school curriculum. It might be a bit more expensive than what you can find online, but it's nice to have someone there to talk to about the books. They also have supplies occasionally, like older computers or school furniture. I believe I saw microscopes for sale last time I was there, but this is primarily a book store, and that's what they have loads of. The staff seems to be very helpful and friendly, and they have a very impressive collection of second-hand curriculum. Whether you're looking to start your own home school, or you just want to pick up some supplementary materials, this is the place.

Instructor - Austin Alonzo- regional director for vision, hearing, and spine for the school systems, taught both classes I took over two consecutive days. Excellent instructor and resource for any questions you may have! Courses were well presented- clear, great visual guides, time allotted for any questions/breaks, a practicum, and written test. He also emailed us the digital instruction books, awesome! My certification will be valid now for the next 5 years, thank you!

I went to go pickup my child today as I have been since she was a baby from the toddler room…read more.. When I was told about this review from a friend of mine I had to take a look. This is a small school, unlike your bigger "La Petite" and "Luvn Care" (not bad mouthing these schools by the way). Both of my children went to this school, and I have always been happy with the results. My oldest is kind, loving, and a very well rounded child. Whenever there was an issue it was addressed. ( In some rare cases I've had to ask more than once but it was nothing major.) My youngest is currently in one of the toddler rooms so as for the first review posted on this school, I'd have to say I'm sorry this person felt that way and I will question the director about all that was stated. I will say thou, there was one teacher that I did not care for in my daughter's room. I can understand people having a bad day, but she seemed generally unhappy. Then come to find out that the teacher was no longer there. I had wanted to ask but I decided that it was none of my business. However, since January I have felt a difference in the atmosphere of the classroom. It seems more relaxed and the kids always look happy. I have never had a problem with the lead teacher of the room. She has always kept me informed about everything going on in my child's day and i feel like she genuinely cares about the children and their families. And I know that she is doing a great job as a teacher just by the progress I have seen in my child this year. Overall, St. Andrew's is a fantastic school that I would highly recommend to anyone.
