The director Fernanda and my son's teachers have always been approachable and I have never felt as though I didnt have a voice. I have seen a great improvement in my son's learning skills and he is always happy to be at the daycare. If you're considering childcare please consider enrolling your littles here. They will be well cared for and nurtured and loved.

I was drawn to this place due to the Spanish immersion and while I cannot say she has picked up much Spanish (yet) her vocabulary has exploded tremendously since being there. This is a family-run business with a range of caregivers younger, middle aged, and older. I have had nothing but good encounters with each of them and what stands out is that all of them can tell me about my child. This lets me know that the ratio of caregivers to child is small enough and/or that communication is good between employees. While this is not a state-of-the-art facility, the director takes the time to communicate with parents about the child, going as far as texting me pictures on occasion. The one time my daughter fell off a toy slide, she communicated and texted a picture of that immediately (it was nothing really). In other words, I feel like the employees care and my child is safe. I have not been inside much due to COVID-19 restrictions but on occasion I have been invited in to observe my daughter's classroom. Again, this is not a fancy place but it is up to standards and clean. I will say, it is up to the parent to inquire about the child's day as they don't really volunteer a lot of information if not prompted. I don't think is necessarily lack of transparency they just don't have a protocol for daily reporting. In their defense any major concerns are disclosed promptly (i.e. child threw up, has a diaper rash, is low on diapers, etc.). Its more the little things they don't offer unless you ask (how did they nap? Did they eat well? what was their mood? etc.). Another note is that there have been times I am returned the wrong bedding or clothing to wash over the weekend, so clearly label your child's belongings. I don't see a reason to make a big stink about this as eventually, everything is returned and with a sizable daycare these things seem inevitable to me, I only mention them because I know some parents are very particular. Overall I think they deserve 5 stars if you are not picky about the small things and are mostly concerned with safety, transparency, and staff who genuinely care about your child.

How awesome to see this kind of school in San Antonio. What a great little community school!…read moreShocked to see how much they teach. But I guess that would be expected for a non-profit that been around since the 90's. This place is like going to Saturday school just more fun. Everyone has been so kind and very caring. The school is from 9-4pm on Saturdays. I know what you may think; why so long? Well it is kind of cool actually. In the morning they teach Korean, and the afternoon is some cultural activity related to Korea. For example, making Korean food or learning to play Korean instruments. They do a Korean fun singing competition in Houston, picnic in the park but with Korean food, mask making, Korean games. They rent classrooms from the Northeast Baptist Church, but are not religiously affiliated. It is really awesome to see all aged children taking Korean classes. They have adult classes too but they are shorter. Sadly they are closed during the summer, have SAT prep classes in August, then start in September. I know some high schoolers also come and volunteer here. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn Korean.

The buildings are beautiful three-story brick buildings, with striking finishing details, and the ceiling of the atrium in the main building has a beautiful mural depicting the heavens opening for Jesus' return. Hear No Evil*See No Evil*Speak No Evil Hood said he planned on being there a long time, but he's apparently gone already, as so many before him. Could've seen that coming from a million miles away. By the way, Cornerstone had my first review taken down, as I now suspect many other critical reviews have been. Cornerstone has had some amazing people, Mr Harrison, Mr Puente, Mrs Puente (God rest her soul), Mr Hudspeth, Mr Sessions, Coach Navarrete, Mrs Ruvalcaba, and others, but the administration changes constantly! The big secret is, untouchable families, who do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want; many are athletes and staff from the church and school. Shouldn't be that way, but we experienced it over & over. So, we left. Many others have left for the same reasons. A friend living near the school took their kids out because the administration wouldn't deal with the untouchables harassing their child who's on the spectrum. They told us 3 other families -on-their-street- left also. Cornerstone should be training up a righteous generation, but instead they're just coddling untouchables. Sad... Change must come from the top. We can only hope & pray.
