Wendy and Jo do an amazing job behind the scenes. I love that I get weekly emails about everything that's going on at the school and her class. Needless to say, if you are a parent with a child that requires a little bit of more assistance, you know how exhausting it is to find someone who actually CARES and wants to help your child. Anyhow! A parent from the last daycare suggested Immersion Montessori Academy and I decided to give them a chance. After touring the school and talking to the owners I knew in my heart this was the place for him. Since my child can have a hard time with changes, they were very understanding and decided to give us a trial week where he could come and experience the school, and we could make a decision after the week. By the second day of our test week, I could see a huge difference in my kid. He was happier and more excited to go to school (before he would scream every time we took him to daycare). It's been only a little bit over a month, but the difference I've seen in my child is huge. He is even talking more and you can tell he loves going to the school. The owners have also been so kind to help me with potty training and they even bought him the same potty seat he has at home so he would feel more comfortable. That action alone, I would have never expect from the past daycare. That just shows how much they care for the kids and they want to see them succeed. Last but not least, they are a full spanish-immersion school, which was very important to me since I want my kid to be able to speak and understand my native language.
