The morning teachers always helped with what was, at first, a difficult transition with the youngest child. Before long it became pick up that was difficult because they were having so much fun. My 4 year old is even reading already and I partly credit the teachers with that! I love that they offer the A-Beka curriculum; additionally they offer Spanish and music lessons. As if that weren't enough to keep the kids busy, they also have a dance school, STEM based education classes, and a gymnastic bus that goes to the Reed Rd location once a week all at prices that don't break the bank. As parents it is important to us to have our kids at a place that is more than just a daycare, we want to make sure they are learning at every opportunity and with our busy schedules I like that they can do gymnastics at school. The learning environment, teachers, and staff are exceptional. Our kids are well cared for, feed, and educated. We are so happy we found The Pillars and I am thankful every day that they take such great care of our little ones.

But noticed over the years, the teacher turnover rate was INSANE. (27 teachers total, left in 2024 alone and they don't even staff that many). Every couple weeks there seemed to be new teachers. My oldest moved to kinder this August and my youngest started. In August started the largest decline of a daycare I've ever seen, multiple teachers and the best director were fired and a new one replaced her. But with that, firings continued, one teacher was rehired (who had been previously fired for multiple reason, the largest being bullying children), CCS has been pulled, and there's maybe 5 or 6 classrooms actually being filled with children because so many parents have left (rightfully so). They're combining classrooms now because just as many teachers are leaving, so children don't have that consistency of the same teacher. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason I stay was because the absolute LOVE and endearment I had for Viridiana. She is an angel/ one-in-a-million teacher you find who actually loves and cares for the babies as her own. Everyday I dropped my child off, it felt as if I was leaving him with family and I knew my child was taken care of. Other than that, it's obvious that the teachers are overworked, understaffed and under appreciated. Each and every staff member is so kind and caring to not only the students, but the parents as well. I toured a few "day cares" and non blew me away like La Petite Academy! I am happy to know my son goes to a school which will help him develop and blossom. My sons teachers were so patient with him during his transition from being at home with a stay at home parent for a year, to going to school. He now is excited each morning to go to school and loves his teachers as they love him. Each teacher exudes love, care, and patience. I am so happy my son is at such a wonderful school! They also have a camera system that you can watch your children on all day, as well as a communication app which updates you on their diaper changes, eating schedules (what, when, and how much they eat), cognitive learning sessions, when nap starts and ends, when medicine is taken (if needed), and my favorite - photo updates! Which is all included! The meals they provide are healthy, fresh and diverse. I think my son might like La Petite more than home!

Even that was hard to do with her as she was trying to protect herself. My child came home several times talking about a boy who would hit her and other classmates. As I spoke with other parents they were also aware of this problematic child and staff would just shrug it off instead of removing the problematic child from the establishment.

There's no cameras outside and I had enough of this place when I surprise picked him up and he was sitting outside in the heat next to the door scream crying and no one was paying him any attention. They said he had been crying the whole time. I literally can't believe it. Pick him up! Nurture him! Help him feel safe! Instead they took away his stuffed animal puppy and just let him cry. Sending my 18 month old boy to this place is my biggest regret as a parent so far.

The staff is warm and welcoming and I get updates throughout the day with pictures on what my otw k student is working on. Chapel on Wednesdays are full of songs and a positive energy.
