We love this school! The director and teachers treat my children like family and my kids are so happy here!

Giant steps is celebrating 15 years of teaching children this is a preschool not a day care. Great school and only place I would consider.

He was totally prepared for Kindergarten and is even ahead. All the work he is coming home with is stuff he has been doing for the past year. I don't know what else I can say other than I am totally impressed with AppleTree Day School and miss them very much now that we are in school!

Instead they let him cry the whole time he was there, and out of two weeks of going they only picked him up once. I watched on the camera app (which is very grainy and has no sound) and the teachers would literally just ignore him. There's no cameras outside and I had enough of this place when I surprise picked him up and he was sitting outside in the heat next to the door scream crying and no one was paying him any attention. They said he had been crying the whole time. I literally can't believe it. Pick him up! Nurture him! Help him feel safe! Instead they took away his stuffed animal puppy and just let him cry. Sending my 18 month old boy to this place is my biggest regret as a parent so far.

You know you have an excellent day care when, after a year and a half, you tell the daycare your…read morechild is leaving and the staff cries. From the first day my son arrived I have had the most wonderful experience. The staff is supportive, they give advice when you need (and none if you don't). They truly care (I will run into daycare staff when I'm out and about and they will run up and my son will run to them right back). They are also reasonably priced and by far the most bang for your buck. My son comes home with far more knowledge than I would ever think to teach him (simple things like how I put on his own jacket, how to speak some sign language, etc). He has incredible friends who he hugs goodbye to at the end of the day. Socially, academically, and psychologically this was by far the best choice we could have made for our child. Update: I just read the bad review on here. Because I went there for quite a while I can safely say there's no way that review is real or it was written by a new momma with no experience being a momma. They give you a list of things to bring on your first day (I still have it in my junk drawer) and crib sheet is on there. In fact, you get it with an entire welcome packet. The nursery is ALWAYS dark during nap time. That's because-wait for it-it's nap time! The floors are super clean and they don't even allow shoes in the rooms-they're strict about it, trust me- I forgot once and I was quickly reminded :). Are the babies supposed to have bottles in their cribs? Then their cribs would be dirty and they'd get ear infections and you'd probably complain about that. There is absolutely nothing more fun to me than when my babies are dirty. It's because- again, wait for it- they're babies! If they're dirty then they are playing, and eating, and having fun, and most importantly learning. Shouldn't you be caring about that? Again, it's still my favorite place ever and I miss it all the time.

The Pillars is a great choice if you are looking for a faith-based education for your child. They…read moredo daily prayers and praise/worship and have Chapel every week. They also do a great job with academics and use good curriculum and have tons of hands-on activities for the kids. They also do a lot of events where parents can get involved with the school - which is great.

They have made new upgrades that promote more of a school setting environment which my daughter loves. The center also host several different services outside of school hours which further shows how dedicated they are to making the kids and parents feel like one big family. I wrote a positive review for this business a while back because I was asked to by the director…read morewhom I was friends with...then one day, something changed. I don't know what or why, but it did. Below is just a small snippet of what we've been through the last year. Negligence. Fraud. Abuse. When Yuliana took over as director, everything changed. My daughter was physically abused (dragged across the floor by her arm - I watched it happen on camera), my kids were targeted and neglected (I have pictures of marks and bruises that went undocumented). I tried talking to her personally, tried going to the regional director, even, and nothing changed. I ended up filing charges with the state and they were cited in several issues, but nothing changed for the better, if anything it made their vengeance worse. A veteran teacher of many years left in the middle of her shift because she couldn't take it anymore. Their turnover rate for teachers, when they can even get someone hired, is astronomical. They changed their hours leaving us parents with no leeway time for work, they are rude, yell at your kids, don't assist in behavioral issues even when a child is diagnosed and it is documented, and are basically just one group of bullies towards children and parents they don't like. My child was always the "problem" but at his new daycare, he's never gotten in trouble once and they actually talk about what a sweet kid he is, how great and helpful he is, and how well he behaves. They'll send your kids home in messy diapers, don't assist in potty training, lie on documentation...it turned into a horror story. They even had "financial errors" aka stole money from parent accounts and charged potty trained kids' parents for diapers. I tried to get corporate involved, nothing changed with that either. I really gave it my all before pulling my kids and getting reviews/higher-ups involved, but when nothing changes and everyone just turns a blind eye, you can't do it anymore. Just save yourself time and money. Even some heartache. Ms. Santos and Ms. Katrina deserve better. And I'll miss what this place USED to be.
