My son completed Phase I last summer (2025) with no problems. During the time we were working on Phase II, All Drive moved locations. Since I received no notification they had moved, I incorrectly assumed they had closed their business and I was out all the money I'd pre-paid for Phase III. Almost nine months later, I saw their new location and immediately called to set up Phase III driving for my son. That was June 8, 2026. I was told that with school being out, many teens were in line for drive time ahead of him and that we wouldn't hear anything back until end of June/beginning of July. On July 5th, I called, looking for a date my son could start driving. I was told that the owner was out sick but I would hear from her the next day. I did not. When I eventually made contact with the owner, I was told my expectations were incorrect - he was still way down on the list of drivers and that it would be "sometime soon," but they couldn't give me an exact date. After two more weeks went by, my husband called and was told yet again that our son was gradually being moved up the list, but because of the recent rains, drive times for other students had been pushed back, and so therefore it would be a while before our son could get his drive time in. Understandable, but still frustrating that a more definite start time couldn't be provided. My husband told the owner that we were going out of town in August and that our son wouldn't be available until August 18th. On August 13th, I received a text asking if my son could start his driving the next day. I told her the same thing my husband had told her - no, he was not available until 8/18. She did not reply to that text. On August 20, I called again to try to get a start date. She told me that if my son could drive in the AM before school, he could start "soon." After sitting on it over the weekend, I decided I had reached my limit and on Monday I withdrew him. I want to reiterate that it's not the backlog of students that made us withdraw. It was the lack of communication and the poor handling of our expectations. We had to beg for updates all summer long and were always just told "soon." read more
