Our kids have been at SPX for 4 years now and plan to continue a few more years through 8th grade. The school has been fantastic for the kids and the family. They have great educators and administrators and strong ties with the church and parish community. They have a new and growing early child development center daycare that looks great. I've heard nothing but good things though my kids did not participate in that. CYO (archdiocese sports league mainly for elementary age kids) is very popular and is very active with lots of great volunteer coaches. It's open to all the community. Our kids loved CYO when they were in elementary and it really helped build community with kids and parents. The gym is top notch as is the softball / soccer field. The school has a lot of electives and activities for the kids to get involved in including but not limited to: art projects, plays, mathletes, RISE, STEM, piano recitals, volunteer opportunities, market day projects, altar serving, stations of the cross, adoration, reconciliation, school Halloween carnival, parish festival, field trips, tours of high schools, athletics, school dances, etc. The PTC does a lot of great things for the teachers and kids through fundraisers (Gala, spirit night, shirt sales, dances, etc.) The Watch DOGS program is active where dads, grandpas, uncles, etc. come and help in classrooms, at lunch, and help make the school day fun and safe. The kids love their teachers and classmates and we couldn't be happier.

Kudos to those who have not experienced anything that "seems odd to say" IM SPEAKING FOR MY EXPERIENCE. The teacher doesn't seem to tolerate my child and speak the truth what's going on behind closed doors, just portray him as a problem when I as a parent took it upon myself to reach out to the office and principal and counselor and receive no help other than him getting negative notes in his folder and all of a sudden, now he's being sent to the office because I mentioned if he was a problem, why hasn't anybody said anything to the front office? I withdrew my child from the school. I have no faith just because they have a cross sitting outside the building do not trust smiley faces. I am disappointed in these adults who are also a grandparents could not help a child of God because they want to keep their image I suppose when we're all supposed to be a community and that picking and choosing who to support and ignore. No need for apologies no need for phone calls. God sees. Do better and good luck on your part to make sure no other family experience what I experienced with this school ever again.

We have received numerous incident reports and despite an ongoing investigation....believe it or not we are STILL receiving incident reports while this facility is being investigated due to my niece receiving a gash to her head while at this ppreschool. Now today we have received yet another incident report (SECOND ONE THIS WEEK). Who is monitoring these kids? Why are the kids coming home with claw marks to their faces and gash to the head? Unfortunately this facility has failed to protect and monitor the kids. The OWNER IS AWARE of all of this and still there has been NO CHANGE . The kids remain NEGLECTED and for that reason they are being removed today. So hard to find a good daycare/preschool these days . You trust that your child will come back home the same way you dropped them off but that is NOT the case with this place. Will be taking further action against this place. They do not take responsibility for anything that happens to the kids in left in THEIR CARE and they ALWAYS blame the incident on the child or another child . BEWARE!!!!!

Our son is thriving under the care of Ms. Roasa, a loving, structured, and incredibly responsive teacher who goes above and beyond to communicate with parents and challenge every student to reach their full potential. Her dedication to both academic and personal growth is inspiring. The entire school reflects this same level of excellence. The administrators are highly qualified, supportive, and effective in their roles. There is a clear structure across the campus that emphasizes discipline and respect--lessons that may be tough for young children at first, but are handled with such care and consistency by the staff that they become second nature over time. Both students and parents are held to high standards, which is something I find incredibly refreshing in today's educational landscape. Compared to our experience in a traditional public school district, the difference has been night and day. At previous schools, we often saw a lack of discipline and respect, and far too quickly, some students were labeled or given diagnoses to explain behavior rather than working to understand and improve the root cause. At Founders, it's clear that they invest in every child's growth in a meaningful way. Since transitioning to Founders, we've seen remarkable changes in our son--improved grades, better self-control, increased responsibility, and a newfound sense of discipline. She came up with a solution (after 2 days) that relieved my son's severe anxiety stemming from a trauma that he suffered two months prior, that we had been trying to work through with him since it occurred. This alone has helped our family more than words can say. She has many years of experience teaching young children and is patient enough to figure out what works for our child. Our family is blessed to have her teaching our child. The Owner: Ms. Betty Williams is wonderful. She is extremely knowledgable and is more than willing (happy) to share her knowledge with parents. On several occasions, Ms. Betty has sat patiently with me, with a caring heart, and given me so much amazing parenting advice. I cannot thank her enough for not being rude or judgmental when I came to her for advice. The front office staff: Ms. Natalie & Ms. Alicia are always genuinely friendly and kind any time I speak with them. They both have been very accommodating when I have needed anything. They both truly LOVE the children. Everyone at SACDM does. The staff at this school works as a team. They are a humble group of people whose true passion is the children. They are down to earth and make parents feel comfortable. They all work very diligently in figuring out what works best for each child. Hear No Evil*See No Evil*Speak No Evil Hood said he planned on being there a long time, but he's apparently gone already, as so many before him. Could've seen that coming from a million miles away. By the way, Cornerstone had my first review taken down, as I now suspect many other critical reviews have been. Cornerstone has had some amazing people, Mr Harrison, Mr Puente, Mrs Puente (God rest her soul), Mr Hudspeth, Mr Sessions, Coach Navarrete, Mrs Ruvalcaba, and others, but the administration changes constantly! The big secret is, untouchable families, who do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want; many are athletes and staff from the church and school. Shouldn't be that way, but we experienced it over & over. So, we left. Many others have left for the same reasons. A friend living near the school took their kids out because the administration wouldn't deal with the untouchables harassing their child who's on the spectrum. They told us 3 other families -on-their-street- left also. Cornerstone should be training up a righteous generation, but instead they're just coddling untouchables. Sad... Change must come from the top. We can only hope & pray.
