We didn't know what to do or where to go. As parents we were lost and frustrated. Enter GradePower. We were told about GradePower through a friend. We immediately scheduled a consultation with Gordon. Let me tell you Gordon is super nice, understanding, and knowledgeable. He listens and answer all your questions. Also, Gordon understands kids that struggle with learning or need help, as he was in their shoes once. Nick is also an amazing person, I swear they have the nicest, calmest, most understandable people working here. Our son is thriving we see it in his work. We see it in his confidence. We will be sending our daughter here once she gets into the higher grades. Oh and they are on top of everything. We have scheduled check-ins with Gordon and or Nick who give us feedback on how are son is doing, showing us his work, showing us his growth but also telling us what he needs to work on. All teachers and staff are there to pray for and encourage your child every step of the way. It's awesome to have such a caring extension of our Christian principals being taught at this school. The teachers that are called to teach at a Christian school are very special people in my eyes. I'm certain they can find another teaching job that pays twice as much in the public school system and they feel led to work at NBCA. I always pray that God would bless each and everyone of them for following their calling. Definitely worth the investment for our kids.

This school has been just what our family needed, as new residents of the area. The academic curriculum is both challenging and age-appropriate. I am constantly amazed by what my children are learning in school, but they're also having fun! The teachers and staff are loving and dedicated to enriching our children's lives. For this staff of educators, it's more than just a job...it's a calling and a ministry and they give so much of themselves on a daily basis. And lastly, the families...so many wonderful parents and kids at this school. I love that the parents are both encouraged, and welcomed, to be involved and present in their children's educations. NBCA is a family...one that we're blessed and so happy to belong to.

If Candace in the infant area doesn't feel like taking care of a full load of babies she will find a way to send your child home. My son was sent home almost every week with a so called fever that was not a fever because the thermometer was broken and they knew it. It was their excuse to lighten their work load. This place is bad you are better going somewhere else. They need to stop calling CPS on hard working families.

I'm not one for wanting to write negative reviews. I try & resolve any issue upfront personally…read more Sadly I have been unable to in this case. I started this class on the 28th of July. I was super excited for it, I paid using the Affirm option which paid the school $1800 up front & I pay Affirm back monthly. A week before class I had heard nothing from the school, when I had been signed up a few weeks already. Expected some sort of welcome letter or communication with details for starting. Never received anything. I reached out to the school and they told me that they think maybe there was some tech issues and I didn't get the emails. True or not? Idk. They also told me that there were certificates I needed to get before starting that the rest of the class "apparently " got notified months sooner. So that was about 15 hours of work I had to complete with a 4 days notice. Had I been working at the time I wouldn't have completed them. Once class started, online setup was difficult to navigate, I reached out to instructors & classmates with no response for some hours that day which put me behind. No explanation of how to navigate the site or how to properly work through all the lessons, videos, homework etc. super frustrating. After half the day I figured it out alone. Later to receive a text from the instructor that she was busy with renovations. Kinda upset me as students should be a priority during class hours. Or at least day one! This happened multiple times I tried to reach out. Waiting for hours to get a response and still having to figure it out alone. Turns out the school is new & they are still trying to "figure out how everything works. From payments to the app to even how to navigate the online coursework. For an advanced class, this is detrimental to your schedule as it puts you very behind quickly. Lastly, I went & had my titers done (bloodwork) to show I had childhood immunizations, this is a requirement to be an EMT. Apparently two of my vaccinations were coming up as low immunity. I was told I'd have to get them again to become an EMT. This was not possible for me since becoming an adult I became immune compromised and was unable to get any live vaccines. So I had to withdraw from class. I asked for a refund since I was there not quite a week. Out of the $1800 they refunded me $1000 and kept $800 for less than ONE Week! I emailed them a week ago asking for breakdown of why I was being charged $800 for one week and not to my surprised I've still had no response. I think if you're looking to go to EMT school, maybe pick somewhere more stable, reliable & trustworthy....possibly been in business longer than a few months. Super disappointed!!
