This is by far the best investment any parents could do for their children. The result of the abacus training speaks for itself as my older son just graduated from high school and admitted to University of Texas at Austin in Aerospace Engineering. Both my sons love abacus and are very motivated to get on the homework challenge, they have built strong academic and competition skill though the Abacus Brain Gym's learning platform. I am so glad they picked up life confidence early from their ability to do fast mental math which is not common for a lot of kids. Not only the training helps students thrive in cognitive skills, the whole training environment helps students build positive characters towards any learning subjects. I would highly recommend any parents to at least take a look at this mental math training with Abacus Brain Gym, it is absolutely worthwhile when it comes to build any child's future.

We have noticed a huge improvement in his letter sounds and he is writing beautifully. We have a few months to go before we are up to speed with his grade level in reading, but his confidence is through the roof. I can't wait to see where he is at and how he feels after a year with Kumon. We also enrolled him in their Math program. The repetition they promote has worked GREAT for our son. He just started addition and feels very empowered by the work he has been doing. I am so proud of him and am SO happy we chose Kumon for our son.

My daughter always struggled in school with focusing and testing. She would fail almost every test…read moreand would have to retake them. We moved here from another State 6 years ago and her elementary school made me aware she may have ADHD. My daughter was diagnosed and we addressed the focusing issue with the local brain balance center for 4 months with no medication. After, it was time to fill in the gaps of everything she had missed because of the focusing issues. Thankfully, we found Al and his staff. The team tested my daughter, found the gaps, and helped her get caught up. She is in 10th grade now making mostly As and some high Bs. She's been making As on the first try on several tests. She is even taking advanced English and doing well. She is also excelling in her Geometry class. Al and his staff really care about the kids. He talks to them about what they can do to improve in class and what to look for on tests/assignments to help them do better overall. Al also talks to the kids and parents regularly on their progress. Each month he'll let you know how they are doing, what they learned, and what they are focusing on next. If you have any specific concerns you can address them with Al and he'll incorporate it in the program. My daughter enjoyed going 3 times a week for 6 months and made friends with the kids in her group. She would be awarded gift cards when she would reach certain milestones. She loved it! If your child is struggling, not passing tests and STAAR exams, I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center. My daughter is more confident. She is no longer upset after school, and she enjoys it.

We were very disappointed with our experience at Huntington. Before paying for the assessment, we…read morewere only informed about the assessment fee and the hourly tutoring rate. At no point were we told about the additional $250 registration fee or that the entire tutoring program must be paid for or financed up front rather than paying per session. We initially felt very hopeful that they could help our daughter, which is why we agreed to move forward with the assessment. However, after meeting with the director to review the results, we learned about these additional requirements and fees that had never been disclosed beforehand. The lack of transparency left us feeling misled and frustrated. Unfortunately, we are now out the cost of the assessment and feel that the full financial commitment should have been clearly explained from the beginning.

Excellent tool for parents looking to help their kids build math/reading skills. I've been shocked…read moreboth by how much they get out of it & how little I'm required to help teach. Our 7 year old son has been going for 2 years and our 3 year old just started. Has made a HUGE difference in their confidence level towards school work. Sometimes, they're (understandably) reluctant to do the exercises at home. However, it's paid off big in reducing any anxiety around math/reading in school. Lots of positive comments from their school teachers. I'm a fan of the Kumon program and an even bigger fan of Ms. Le (head instructor in wells branch). She is very passionate and dedicated. I'm very grateful to have her as a resource in our community.
