They have a really neat program to teach drivers the techniques for rally driving and it works. Wes and Scott were super and really focused on safety and having fun. Their program is focused on showing you what needs to be done, doing the skills, taking a break to let is soak in, and then doing it again. It's very well structured and by the end of the day they were doing the slalom course with a lot of confidence. As for the team, I didn't meet anyone at Rally Ready that wasn't outgoing, personable, and just plain nice. They love rallying, but are genuinely good people. It's not about pulling people in to stack the house, but about teaching a subject which they are passionate about. In a rush, he read it incorrectly and thought it was asking for the day of his birth, not the month and he was locked out of the account. Fine. Now, Mr. Armstrong REFUSES to release her certificate to to the new school after more than a year of repeated requests - all of which he has ignored. So, I am filing a complaint with the TDLR. While I tried very hard to work with the staff and understand their perspective, the process has been incredibly challenging, especially after paying $460. Scheduling has been inconsistent, with her driving sessions spaced too far apart. It's now October, and we've only been contacted just now for her 4th session. During one session, we discovered her license had expired, so she couldn't drive, which I understand entirely. However, I was charged a $45 fee for the missed appointment. When I asked about the policy, the instructor said it wasn't his rule, and the soon-to-be owner claimed it was the instructor's rule. I paid the fee, but I still don't know whose rules we're following. I'm troubled that my daughter is still uncomfortable on the road after seven months and only three drives spaced months apart. Additionally, the instructors do not seem equipped to handle autistic adults. Despite my repeated requests, the one instructor I wanted her to drive with wasn't allowed to teach her. It's upsetting to leave such a negative review, but after trying my best to make this work, I feel compelled to share my experience.
