So much could be said here for improvement. It is a driving school. I think the gap is more knowledge is required by the staff to what a first timer at the DPS will need as far as required documentations and how to fill out the school forms being presented to the DPS. read more

My daughter, who has autism and is 21, wanted to focus on learning to drive, so she signed up with Frost Driving School on February 29, 2029. While I tried very hard to work with the staff and understand their perspective, the process has been incredibly challenging, especially after paying $460. Scheduling has been inconsistent, with her driving sessions spaced too far apart. It's now October, and we've only been contacted just now for her 4th session. During one session, we discovered her license had expired, so she couldn't drive, which I understand entirely. However, I was charged a $45 fee for the missed appointment. When I asked about the policy, the instructor said it wasn't his rule, and the soon-to-be owner claimed it was the instructor's rule. I paid the fee, but I still don't know whose rules we're following. I'm troubled that my daughter is still uncomfortable on the road after seven months and only three drives spaced months apart. Additionally, the instructors do not seem equipped to handle autistic adults. Despite my repeated requests, the one instructor I wanted her to drive with wasn't allowed to teach her. It's upsetting to leave such a negative review, but after trying my best to make this work, I feel compelled to share my experience. read more

As an adult, I conducted my first ever road test with Brian and he was awesome. He helped me keep calm as he could tell I was nervous. THE WORST me and my boyfriend have been going for about four months, and we've only gotten four tests done. Every time we go up there. They changed the schedule on us. Say it's this time. Rather than the time that they've told us. One of the instructions is very rude. The main woman up there at the front doesn't know what she's doing. She doesn't know how to work the computer. They call with their own schedules. Please please do not schedule your children with this place. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS PLACE. I wish I could leave zero stars. I have had nothing but issues with them since he started. He completed his class part then had an injury that prevented him from driving for 8wks. I had to call repeatedly and take multiple notes over to them to prove he was unable to drive. When he was cleared I had to call repeatedly to get him access to make an appointment. Then we were told he had to finish within 20days but they had no appointments to help him get it finished. Today he went to take his driving test to finish out his course. From the minute the instructor got into the car with him he degraded the child to the point where he was nervous. He had never driven this particular car in his driving lessons and could not find the knob to adjust the mirrors. All the instructor had to do was tell him where the knobs were to adjust the mirrors, there was no need to treat him like he was stupid. Then he berated him for not turning right on red in front of an 18-wheeler. Needless to say he was nervous for the entire time. He was told that the test route would be a specific place but he was taken on an entirely different route that he had never even driven on that road before. We will not be returning to retake the test with them and I hope everyone thinks twice before subjecting their child to this abusive place. read more

Frost is a great driving school. Their knowledge and thoroughness made them the best tool for our child. The driving lessons gave her the confidence and skills she needed. Also being able to do our DPS testing there was the invaluable. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. I can't say enough things about the staff and the services. read more

We thought the Pflugerville Mega-center still did the walk-in driver test, but found out the hard way (got there at 5am, no line? Oh no!) they only accept appointments now. Next available was over a month out. We called Coach Frost and amazingly, he was able to get us in that evening. My daughter did great, passed her test, and coach Frost was a pleasure to deal with. We met in Cedar Park across from ACC in the Lakehills Freewill Baptist Church parking lot. Coach sets up the parallel parking cones there, and once that step is done, he takes the driver out to drive around some of the neighborhoods. We were in and out within 30 minutes. My sister-in-laws experience. DONT GO TO FROST DRIVING SCHOOL IN BELTON! For those that know me...I am an easy going person, that always has a positive out look on people. But my KID WAS PUBLICLY SHAMED AND HURT IN FRONT OF PEERS TODAY. My daughter was taking her driving hours at FROST, we did parent taught for the first half, but wanted to get extra hours with an instructor so she would feel more comfortable behind the wheel, because my daughter was in a accident as passenger when she was 14 and almost lost her leg, she was hospitalized for over a month with multiple surgeries and had to finish out her school year at home. When Elexis started her first hours, I asked the instructor (Pam) how Elexis did and she said "good'. A few driving hours later, I get a call that Elexis had an accident in the drivers education car with Pam in the passenger seat. The cops were at the scene and I was told that Elexis had ran a two way stop sign ( a white truck was parked in front of the sign), and the other car "t-boned" the front passenger wheel base. My kid was extremely upset for days not wanting to ever drive again. I noticed that instead of the instructor using this as a teaching tool, Pam was blaming ALL the fault on Elexis! When I got home, I called the driving school to speak to the owner, the owner called me back and I explained to him how I did not like how Pam was blaming and belittling my daughter in front of the police officer. Pam is the instructor and "accidents" happen. Really...did Pam not see the stop sign either??? Did Pam have a break pad to use?? After the nice conversation it was agreed that Elexis would finish her hours with a different instructor. After the completion of Elexis hours we waited to get Elexis more driving time on the home front, and went today July 10, 2017 to book the driving test, Elexis and I walked into the driving school to register for the test slot at 1:40pm. I looked back and saw Pam sitting at a table with other students. When we sat down I heard Pam say very loudly " IS SHE TESTING TODAY'? The lady behind the desk nodded her head yes. I turned around and I gave Pam the "thumbs up" with a smile and told her "Lexi is ready! Lexi is going to pass. We have been practicing," with a nice genuine smile. I noticed that Pam was glaring at me and Elexis with a rude look on her face. Pam stood up and said with people in the lobby "YEA IF NO ONE IS IN THE CAR" directly to me and my teenager. The receptionist looked at us and started to apologize for what was just said to us in front of a lobby full of her peers. Elexis stood up and walked out the door not saying a word. I sat there and finished the paperwork so upset tears were rolling down my face. Again the receptionist was apologizing to me for what the instructor Pam had said. I went to check on Elexis in the truck. My teenager was crying her eyes out saying that she did not want to take her test anymore she was embarrassed and could not believe that adults acted this way. I tried to calm her down the best I could. NEXT, I went back into FROST driving school and asked the instructor Pam, "why did you say that to us?, you have no idea what my child has been though what she has had to endure to get here! You should be ashamed of your self! You are a teacher, and instructor, this is not how you act! Pam proceeded to be RUDE, MEAN, AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Pam, expressed to me that I should be ashamed of myself as a parent to put my daughter behind the wheel, Pam also stated that Elexis can not feel with her foot ( WHICH IS NOT TRUE!!) JUST BECAUSE MY TEENAGER HAS A PARTIAL DISABILITY WITH RANGE OF MOTION, AND YOU THE DRIVING INSTRUCTOR INSTEAD OF LIFTING UP MY CHILD, AND TEACHING MY CHILD. PAM COMPLETELY ACTED UNPROFESSIONAL AND PUBLICLY SHAMED MY CHILD. THIS INSTRUCTOR NEEDS TO LOOSE HER LICENSE FOR WHAT SHE HAS DONE. I ALSO HAVE PROOF FROM OTHER STUDENTS THAT SHE SPEAKS BAD OF OTHER STUDENT DRIVERS TO HER STUDENTS DURING BEHIND THE WHEEL INSTRUCTION. read more

I registered and paid for my first time driver mother and sister for 4 driving lessons each. after the third lesson our calls were not returned, emails not returned. after 2 months i went to complain about the zero communication and failure to do the final lessons and the owner was rude and dismissive. I asked for the 2 lessons worth refund in order to take my business else where, He attempted to give me a check minus $50.00 cancellation fee...!? we left the check because i want the full amount refunded. So my mother disputed the charge on her CC and was denied because the CC company stated that according to frost she cancelled the contract and in fact owes frost $50. So to summarize they failed to provide the services that were paid for then after 2 months when we complained and wanted our remainder of the money paid to take our business else where they wanted to charge $50.00 cancellation fee even though THEY were the ones who didn't end up their part of the contract.
