It felt as though I had given birth to a little monster. Every day, the teacher complained about my son's behavior, saying he was running around, not sharing, jumping, and more. One day, we were asked to pick him up early, which was extremely stressful. We later met with his teacher and the principal to discuss a plan of action. Right away, I sensed an unsettling vibe from the kindergarten teacher. She claimed she was trying her best to help our son adjust, but stated that other kids also needed her attention. She also suggested we seek help from our physician regarding his behavior. Keep in mind that my son had attended daycare without any behavioral issues. My husband made an appointment with the doctor, who assured him that our son was perfectly fine and simply acting his age. While I was searching for a new school, we found one that reassured us about their staff's expertise. They informed us that their teachers had over 18 years of experience and that we wouldn't encounter the same problems we faced before. I am pleased to say they did not disappoint. My son enjoys going to school; we no longer have to bribe him. He has received a star every day for exhibiting great behavior without needing any redirection. One day, the school even allowed parents to come in and observe for a moment, and my son sat quietly like a pro. I truly believe the previous teacher was not equipped to handle kindergarten. The way she spoke about my child in front of me revealed a palpable dislike. Consequently, I removed my son from that toxic environment. Now, he is thriving in his new school, and his new teacher is wonderful!

On both cases every single child was advanced by multiple years. With smaller class room and a curriculum like A Beka your child will be so far ahead of the curve. The staff is intimidated to the point where they don't speak up and the frustrations become evident in the classrooms. Political agendas, immigration viewpoints and even biblical challenges have found their way into the curriculum. I have talked to some of the other parents and they feel the same. Unfortunately most will not speak up publicly but it I think it is my duty as a parent and Christian to ensure that the truth is brought to light and the children left there are defended. We didn't meet until we requested it as we were concerned about if he was learning anything. About a month ago his teacher resigned and he now has a new teacher. We were not notified at all about him having a new teacher. We got this information from our child who barely knew her name!! I brought up that issue a couple times and I was dismissed consistently. There was a lot of disrespect and nonchalant attitude shown when I recently questioned a behavioral issue they said they were having with my child. They would not allow me to view the cameras and said that they were very busy and it would take hours to run that information back. There was no resolution provided. No one said I could come back later to view the camera. The answer was just no. Which made me feel they were hiding something. Also I had a lack of understanding about what was going on in the classroom. Now I understand that because of Covid it's very hard to continue to effectively teach and connect with the parents, but no one ever said anything about how he was doing in class and how he was doing academically and where they were in the curriculum. All I knew was what he brought home from school which were just worksheets they completed in class which Only appeared to be tracing letters. They would assign homework and we would complete it and put it back in the folder and it would still be there for WEEKS at a time without anyone checking it. This may be a good daycare for some but not for my son. I am used to a more organized structure and a better connection with teachers and administration. I never knew if she was eating her lunch, adjusting well, or anything. We went for 2 months part time and was never acknowledged AT ALL. So awful. It's says in their handbook, that the parent is allowed to withdraw at any time within those ten days without paying a withdraw fee. I paid in total 330 dollars for NINE days. I paid in cash a week in advance for their services. I'm paid up til the 26th. They will not give me back my 110 dollars that I paid in advance for the week she's not going to be there. I'm still in my trial period and they refuse to give me least the 110 dollars of week in advance money I paid in cash. My loss on the 110 dollars they refuse to give back even though they have no legit reason to keep but your gain of knowledge on how professional they handle things.
