I also heard from multiple co-workers that since they did not qualify for the pre-k program at Killeen isd, they decided to place their little one in Memorial Christian Academies accredited pre-k class and seen instant learning as a result. Some of my co-workers decided to keep their children at Memorial all the way through high school, while others stated they enrolled their child in KISD for whatever reason. On both cases every single child was advanced by multiple years. With smaller class room and a curriculum like A Beka your child will be so far ahead of the curve. I am so blessed and honored to have my daughter attend Memorial and and truly thankful for the faculty and staff that help shape and mold my daughter each and everyday!

Every "little" issue we've had was fixed and addressed immediately and literally the entire center knows my kids by first name and shows them a great amount of love as if they were family. So to anyone reading these bad reviews and changing your mind trust me when I say it is one of those situations where people don't normally leave reviews UNTIL something goes wrong and they act out of anger, but when it is going well that same person doesn't leave a review at all.

Daughter went to get her clothes and the lady wanted something about two weeks in writing to get stuff back. Well this place is not safe and I am not sure what is going on there.

The teachers at this location love their jobs and it shows in the way they teach...there is no-one here just for a paycheck, they teach because it's what they love to do. There is truly a family feel throughout the school. My children have attended saint Joseph's for many years now, I have never had a complaint with their education. They have added a 6th grade this year and plan to add more in the comming years. Class sizes are great, I think most grades are capped at 15-20 students so it's easier for the teachers to interact with the students 1 on 1. Music, art, computers, spanish, PE specials along with the norm of reading, math, science, history and the normal curriculum. Beyond that there is religion and the word of God is taught on a daily basis. The tuition is a bit steep and uniforms from lands end are required... payment plans are offered, I believe scholarships are offered. Definitely worth a look.

Students with disabilities and additional needs are getting a raw deal because of lack of funding, staff shortages and programming cuts. Students are being taught by volunteers and subs. This is not educating children, it's barely even babysitting. So very sad as it could be a great school, but it's being slowly killed by mismanagement, understaffing, lack of programming and teachers who are overworked, underpaid and under appreciated.

Part of the founders and board have children that attend the school and I believe they are wholeheartedly invested in the future and direction of the Montessori. We feel so fortunate to have our daughter attending this Montessori, preparing her for life. The garden is lovely, the school setting is unique, it's also a small student to teacher ratio.

My four year old daughter has flourished here over the last year. This school resonates with my…read morechild and fosters her independence of the everyday tasks. She asks to help me around the house (cooking, making her own lunch, sweeping, mopping, cleaning mirrors, watering plants, taking care of her dog and fish) At Salado Montessori, they learn through physically getting involved in the activity at hand,(everyday fundamentals like washing hands, getting dressed (my daughter learned to tie her shoes in a day), motor skills like opening and closing boxes and organizing blocks based on size, music (beat, tone, instruments), sounding out words, addition and subtraction, days of the week). She wakes up and gets dressed on her own, brushes her own teeth and takes pride in it all because it gives her a sense of accomplishment. This school is teaching her how to learn, not what to learn. Salado Montessori has created an amazing community, parents willingly volunteer their time. They periodically have volutuneer days, where the parents and children can be a part of bettering the school together (i.e.planting gardens, reorganizing the classroom). The teacher, Ms. Webb for lack of a better word, is AMAZING! She is patient, observes well and interacts without hindering the learning process. She is organized, happy and cares deeply for each individual child. She allows parents to observe the learning process throughout the school year and meets with us one on one to discuss the growth of our child. She gives ideas to me about how I can continue to foster growth throughout the home and how to speak to my daughter to further her own excitement about learning. I truly believe Ms. Webb helps my individual child grow in every aspect of her life, and is not just a teacher filling a time slot during the school day. Also, this school was one of the only schools around that allowed for a half day, full day, and before and after child care programs. I can not say enough good things about this school.

I have been a strong supporter of this business over the last 2 years until recently because of some of the staff's behavior toward parents. I recorded on my phone the owners daughter screaming at another parent in the lobby right in front of my 3 year old daughter. I reached out to the owners as a concerned parent but have been completely ignored along with other parents voicing the same concerns. The owners refuse to listen to multiple parent complaints about their daughter's misconduct as a manager at the daycare. I cannot support or endorse this business. I do hope and pray that they change and grow from this. Please private message me for further details on the incident.

I heard it is a good school but I believe that they are slacking now. There is a teacher that goes by the name Ms Jackie that one of my children had as a teacher, my child was absolutely petrified of her. There is a big difference fear and respect and from what I witnessed all the kids feared her. She is rude, and I would not recommend any parent to place their child in her class. With all the money they make you would think the parents would deserve more than two ounces of milk at lunch for their child. This school gets really no stars and two thumbs down.

My daughter ends up falling in love with each of the teachers she's had. Once your child is 3 years old, they drill ABC's, Counting in Spanish, Sight Words, Bible Verses and Bible knowledge into every child. Some parents may find it intense, but I personally love it. Also, I've noticed other yelp comments complain about the price, which I find absolutely ABSURD! Their pricing is much lower than others in the area, and the facility and learning is better! I would pay the $500 any day for what my child is getting. Quick fact check: 1. Yes, there is a monthly tuition rate (you may want to sign up for direct draft or there's small monthly fee if you don't) 2. 3yr old + has to wear uniform and Little Lambs shirt (Fridays), shirt maybe cost $10 3. You're required to bring a small snack for the class 1x per month 4. You have the option of purchasing a front door key (I believe $5), but its optional! Bottom line--- I have no bad things to say about this facility. I will actually be sad when I must leave Killeen and depart from this center. Take my advice and give it a try.
