Spent several hours yesterday with Ed working on basics,; safety, stance, safety, grip, safety sight alignment, safety, listening and safety. Ed is focused, well versed in training, knows what to look for in new shooters to encourage and demonstate good knowledge of the mechanics of shooting. I was shooting better than I have before very quickly. It was great fun and Ed knows how to get you thinking about what you are doing. Over the past 6 months, both my wife and I have taken several group and private lessons w/ Sight Alignment. From day one, we were immediately impressed w/ how personable both Ed and Carson were. They took time while we on the range to come over, suggest different things and genuinely care about people being safe and learning. After teaching tennis for nearly 30 years, I can appreciate an instructor who can make suggestions and corrections without the 'My way or the highway' approach. Ed will insist on safety and fundamentals; yet he is flexible enough to let this old dude 'get away' with some quirks--style-wise. NO compromise in safety, however! I've seen him offer a tip or suggestion on many occasions, often resulting in the 'lightbulb moment' for the shooter. I really appreciate the approach that Brian and Ed use to teach people, as myself, who are completely new to firearms.
