There appears to be a lack of organization, inconsistent communication with parents regarding student concerns, and a pattern of decisions that many families have found frustrating. There have also been ongoing concerns from parents regarding school climate, fairness in decision-making, and whether all students are being supported equally. Several teachers and families have chosen to leave, which has raised additional concerns about stability and retention. Academically, I have concerns regarding the quality and rigor of some assignments. There were times materials appeared to come directly from Teachers Pay Teachers resources, and some assignments seemed below expected grade level standards. Parents should carefully review instructional materials and ask questions regarding curriculum alignment and academic expectations. I also encourage prospective families to ask questions about teacher certification status, staffing plans, student support systems, communication procedures, and administrative oversight. Many families remain because the school offers activities and athletic opportunities that are difficult to find elsewhere, which creates a challenging decision for parents. I do want to acknowledge that Dr. Roan appears committed to improving the school and creating positive change. However, in my opinion, meaningful improvement will require stronger leadership, greater accountability, improved communication, and a clearer focus on student outcomes. I strongly encourage prospective parents to speak directly with current families before enrolling. What appears positive from the outside may not fully reflect the day-to-day experience.

Goooo Wildcats! Temple High School is the alma mater of…read more"Mean" Joe Green! This central Texas high school is probably the biggest in Temple. They've got a bunch of sports teams, and do well for the local community. The pool is available to the public during the summer, when the student swimmers aren't using it. They have a schedule posted up out front of the pool. The pool isn't exactly luxury. It's for lane swimmers only, and is one of the old style pools with lots of chlorine. The locker rooms are about average for a high school. Everything not bolted down or locked up will disappear. During the summer, there's plenty of parking since the only cars there are summer school students. I never attended school here, but I am a supporter!

You can't prevent kids from biting other kids. When your kids are in public you can't prevent a others actions; however, A+ has always worked with me. They are amazing staff and very nice people. Outside play area is covered and turfed. Facility is locked with electronic locking system. Cameras in every room. Happy with my kids time here. Last one is moving into kindergarten but I'm confident they've done an amazing job helping prepare my kids for their next steps.

My son has autism and the last preschool we tried wasn't a good fit for him so I was a little concerned. I reached out to the director of Belton Christian and she was so open and honest about the possible struggles and hurdles. I was so appreciative about her openness. This school has been extremely accommodating and have even gone as far as to call me with updates when he's not having a very good day. I was brought to tears when the director told me all the tricks she used to keep him happy. I know my son is so loved and very well taken care of. I couldn't be happier with my decision to enroll my son at this school.

She went from Sept to December…read more After the director was extremely rude to my husband, they proceeded to take his response out on my child. My husband forgot to pack a spoon in her lunch this same day. When she asked for one she was told they were out. No one got her one and she ate crackers only. When the director was told about this she tried to defend it. My child was so hungry when I picked her up that. I find this inexcusable.
