Absolutely love the care and treatment given by Mrs. Tiffany Washington. Mrs. Washington has been…read morein childcare for quite some time now so it eases my mind knowing my child is well taken care of. I love the home based environment and the ability to provide adequate and outstanding performance like a full size center. The kids do activities daily to include but not limited vocabulary, reading, writing and my favorite art. I love that my baby is also provided breakfast , lunch and snacks. My favorite thing about tiny tikes other than the care and the owner herself is the affordability. My son absolutely loves Mrs.Tiffany and tiny tikes, parents check it

I understand that this age group requires a unique approach, emphasizing individualized attention and a deeply nurturing environment. Our philosophy centers on fostering a strong sense of security and trust, allowing each child to explore and develop at their own pace. We achieve this through several key strategies: low teacher -to-child ratios, age-appropriate activities, developmentally focused curriculum, engaging play areas, nutritious meals and close parent communication. Our commitment goes beyond simply providing childcare; we strive to create a loving and stimulating environment that supports the holistic growth of each child, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.

THE TIMELINE Sept 1, 2026 -- I called to cancel my membership. I was told a 30-day notice applies, so my membership stayed active through Sept 30. I accepted that and paid September dues in full. Sept 1-4 -- Their system attempted three drafts on my card ($39.60, $74.60, $176.60). All three failed. I was charged a $35 returned payment fee and a $35 return/decline fee. Sept 4 -- Here's the part that matters. That draft billed my childcare at $51 per child, the MEMBER rate. When it failed, their system cancelled those charges and re-created them at $60 per child, the NON-MEMBER rate. My membership was still active. I got no notice of the change. Sept 5 -- They charged a $25 late fee per child, $50 total, one day after creating the charge, on tuition that was billed at the wrong rate. Sept 5 -- A representative, Jessica left a voicemail saying she was checking on waiving fees and needed to confirm with me. I had already told her I couldn't afford them. I called back twice and left a voicemail. She never responded. I paid everything myself that night so my kids wouldn't lose their spots. Sept 5-18 -- Nothing was removed. I paid every single charge, including $50 in late fees on Sept 15. I didn't complain. I just paid it. Sept 18 -- I came in person, expecting a glitch someone would fix. Jessica spent about ten minutes repeating that the system said "inactive" so she couldn't treat me as a member. She acknowledged the 30-day notice applied. She could not name a single policy that made me a non-member in September. I asked what she needed from me to resolve it. She had no answer. JESSICA was rude, defensive, and offered zero customer service and zero problem solving. When I said we were going in circles and asked what the resolution was, she got visibly frustrated, stood up at me, and told me to go sit down. Jessica then made a phone call, came back, handed me the director's card, and said Sheri Yerrington would explain why I was NOT a member and why I had to pay. Her own escalation came back and doubled down on the wrong answer. I asked about the $120 showing as due that day. Her response was "what about it." So I pulled both my kids. Four years, over. THREE HOURS LATER Director Sheri Yerrington emailed me that they COULD honor the member price through Sept 30, and refunded the difference. In writing. Confirming I was right the whole time. In that same email, she confirmed my termination had been processed. She learned the charge was wrong and never asked whether I still wanted to cancel -- the charge was the only reason I cancelled. She corrected the error and ended my children's enrollment in the same message, then closed with "we wish you all the best." WHAT IT COST $120 in fees generated during their own failed billing cycle. Two kids lost their after-school activities and four years of friendships. I had to ask my employer for a schedule change to pick my children up from school. This is an organization whose purpose is reducing stress on military families. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU Don't stop at the branch. Escalate: Send it to national, NOT the branch: Armed Services YMCA of the USA, 14040 Central Loop, Suite B, Woodbridge, VA 22193 / info@asymca.org. Address it to the Chief Operating & Programs Officer. I sent mine to national a month ago. I'm still waiting to hear back.
