DON'T CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL. The tester in this location has HARASSED at least FOUR Asian ladies. I…read morefound this out by posting my experience in the Asian community. We all got treated awfully in the same way. FYI, I believe this white hair elderly guy is the only tester of this location. On my first test, he asked me "Where are you from" and then "Why are you HERE." I answered but he did not give any response. During the test, he kept making weird noises in his mouth the whole time, I couldn't understand but I could tell he was super vicious and definitely cursing something. Afterward, he failed me, and then walked to my mother-in-law instead to tell her "Your girl has no idea about the law here, go home and teach her more." And he asked me to come back two days later to take another test. On my second test, he kept touching my arms up and down, asking me where my husband was from; and how long I'd been married. I told him I had been married for two years. And he called me "You are an old lady now". Then he said it was a joke, I do not find this funny. I passed the second test, but how he touched my arms made me disgusted for days. I know he could probably get away with what I wrote above because he is old. He could say "Sorry I am too old to make people feel respected." "It was just some little jokes." But again, I did not see him touch the guys' arms. And other Asian ladies got touched, and one of them said she was cursed by this tester the whole testing process. I want to share my experience because I think no one deserves to be treated like this, I paid 85 dollars for the test, technically I am a customer. But seems like he enjoys abusing the power in his hand.

I can only comment regarding the driving test. The person that conducted the driving test is flat…read moreout incompetent and an idiot. How is if possible to deduct point after point for simple fact that the student taking the test drive ls absolutely correctly up to the speed limit that is 30 and 40 miles per hour. Unbelievable how stupid this person can be. She was also absolutely mad about whatever and she took it on the student. Since you are an incompetent l, let me remind you that is absolutely nothing wrong with respecting the posted speed limit. The student that took the test has far superior driving skills than anyone you taught how to drive. I am so glad we did not let the student learn how to drive with you. Absolutely nightmare. Go and potatoes cause you definitely have zero knowledge of driving....

I learned to drive with Robert at ABC Driving School in 2008, and I still think about what that…read moreexperience gave me - over 100,000 miles later. Before that, I'd had some rough experiences: An instructor in Dubai who yelled at me and ran errands during class time--then called me "bathmeez" (rude) when I asked her to stay on task. A Craigslist instructor in Austin who dropped me mid-lesson for calmly asking not to be shouted at. Being a young woman who looked even younger -- and dared to set boundaries - meant I was often treated like I didn't belong behind the wheel. Then I found Robert. He was calm, patient, and never once made me feel small for learning. His steady presence helped me rebuild confidence and feel safe behind the wheel. I passed my road test on the first try--and more importantly, I've been driving confidently ever since. I didn't leave a review back then, but I'm writing one now--because sometimes the things that shape us most don't get acknowledged in real time. Thank you, Robert. I still drive with the confidence you helped build.

Signed up for the driving class online and it went fine. BUT... I consider this as fraud to sign someone up for an unrelated service (just because it has to do with cars?) just because you signed up for their class. If you don't catch it on your credit card statement you'll be paying it forever because of how they charge it. It'll follow your credit card account even if you cancel that number and get a new one issued.

The best driving school in Austin! I was recommended by my manager and had never driven before. All…read morethe instructors and the owner is great and very helpful and kind. They are also very knowledgeable and patient and I was able to learn and pass my test thanks to their expertise and experience. Brandi was my main instructor and she was absolutely great. I also had Elias and Hector and they were very nice and easy to work with as well. Also shout out to Yolanda and Nalani for making booking and processing so smooth and easy. Overall, a great bunch of people and a complete pleasure to work with!

I am not a Christian. I did not sign up for a religious experience. If I wanted spiritual guidance, I would have gone to church, which I won't, because that is simply not who I am. Teach me to drive. That is literally your one job. George is also arrogant, acrimonious and loves to moralize at you like you are sitting in his congregation. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable and frankly offensive. Keep your religious views to yourself, this is a driving school not a place of worship. The cars are another story altogether. Ancient, dirty and falling apart. Every single lesson I was just hoping the car would survive long enough to get me back. It was embarrassing honestly, let alone unsafe. I walked away after spending so much money having learned absolutely nothing about driving. Not one useful thing. I joined Coastline Academy shortly after and the difference is night and day. Being there has shown me exactly how much this school dropped the ball and how little they actually care about teaching you anything. Avoid this scrapyard of a place. Seriously. Go anywhere else.
