BEDBUGS!!!! I got bedbugs from freestyle clothing exchange, I tried so many things on and I bought…read morea pair of pants, they didn't give me a bag and I was staying at my in laws. So I put the pants in my luggage next to my PJs, well later on that night I put my PJs on and I woke up the next morning covered in bed bug bites. We checked the whole room. My husband and baby stayed with me in the bed and they didn't have any bites on them. So I was trying to figure out how I had them but nobody else did. And it hit me, I bought pants and tried a bunch of clothes on at freestyle clothing, which is a popular second hand clothing store in midtown that my friends were raving about. I'm now covered in these bites and am having to deep clean my whole car out after traveling to make sure they don't transfer into my house but I think it should be known because I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I'm miserable and itchy, they are even on the bottom of my feet making it painful to walk. I just want to put a warning out. I called the place and spoke to the manager who was really sweet, as well as I had a great interaction with the staff when I went there. The manager was really apologetic and kind of told me that's just the risk you take when buying second hand. I also learned that they don't wash their clothes when they receive them, it's an honor system so they ask the people to wash them before selling them to the store. I just wish I knew I wouldn't have tried clothes on, I probably wouldnt have gone in.
