After trying a few other stores and spending over an hour searching, we left empty-handed. We decided to take a drive to Dillard's, and I'm so thankful we did. Within a minute of walking in, Charles greeted us and offered assistance without us even asking--which is definitely rare these days. I explained what we were looking for and a few specific requirements. As he walked us through the options, I mentioned that we needed a wide fit. He was honest and let us know they didn't carry traditional wide sizes, but then took the time to show us ECCO shoes with dual-fit insoles as an alternative. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated Charles. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He listened carefully, stayed calm while we tried on different pairs, and didn't hesitate when we asked for another size. We later found out he actually helped open this location--congratulations to him on his 20th anniversary! Dillard's management--you truly have a gem in Charles. You should be very proud to have him representing your store.

One thing to note, a lot of the beauty/hygiene/baby/liquor/printer/electronic items are locked up behind glass cabinets. So you gotta press a button and wait several minutes or track down an employee to open it up (they use phones now instead of keys). Good thing is they still have a lot of the self check out lanes available to use (NW store has done away with all except 4). On the flip side of this, so many have gotten used to self check out that the line can be long, but does go quick. Though keep an eye out for an open live checker lane, since many do like self check out. The store has a Dunkin Donuts, Regal Nails and of course the Walmart hair cutting place.

Needless to say, we did get it. Overall, I like the store renovations, I can't wait to see the end result. But as far as not honoring advertised prices; that's unscrupulous business practices.

There may have been other factors, but this location, in particular, has little product and was quite chaotic. Here on a recent Reno visit, the shelves were finally starting to look full again and the floor people were working hard to create a new, more inviting atmosphere. Mostly on a price discovery mission, we did manage a few gift purchases at very reasonable prices. We even took advantage of some great sales. Two of my nephews are making the transition to coffee pods. They received a lovely Hamilton Beach dual brewer. For Christmas, my cousin will be getting the biggest crock pot I have ever seen. All from this Kohls location. The store is very clean and easy to find most every item. The bathrooms are also clean, but were hard to locate on my own. Initially, it was difficult to find this place, tucked away off the main drag. But, once we found it, that became a moot point. Mrs. E. gets a might nervous when we pull out on to Damonte or exiting by the Roadhouse. If you do visit, be careful when leaving. After today's visit we earned serious Kohl's cash. The girl who was working the fitting rooms was polite and working very hard. The one cashier Bryana was extremely rude. Its obvious this girl dislikes her job. Im sure the store is running on bare minimum staff, but that is not a reason to be abrasive to customers. Most people shopping for prom is a once...maybe twice in a lifetime experience. Please dont act irritated when you are doing the job you were hired to do. Greeting customers, answering questions & helping others is a job requirement. The product quality and value for the clothes is extremely reasonable for Reno, but there are many dress shops in the area that people can go to and if the employees at Windsor are like Bryana, people do have other options for their shopping experience.
