I kept waiting for a confirmed appointment, and it was only after I told the manager handling my project that I wanted my deposit refunded if they could not schedule the work that they finally arranged a service date. The project included crawl space cleaning, sanitizing, rodent proofing, and a newly built crawl space access door. After the work was completed, the manager told me that I would receive before-and-after photos within a few days. Several weeks have now passed, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received those photos. The newly installed crawl space door also showed visible damage shortly after installation. When I reported it, I was initially told that the wood may have "come that way," even though this was supposed to be a newly built door. The manager later said they would follow up and arrange for someone to return, but several weeks have passed and the door still has not been repaired. In addition, after Atticare completed the crawl space cleaning, the HVAC technicians who later worked underneath the house told me that there were still animal droppings in the crawl space and that it had not been cleaned thoroughly. I paid the project in full. What disappoints me most is not just the quality-control issues, but the lack of follow-through. I have contacted the manager multiple times and have repeatedly been told that these issues would be followed up on. Several weeks later, the promised photos have still not been provided and the damaged door has still not been repaired. Atticare also provided a one-year warranty for the work. However, based on my experience trying to get these issues addressed, I have very little confidence in what that warranty actually means in practice. If a problem with a newly installed door cannot be resolved after several weeks and multiple follow-ups, it is difficult to see how the warranty provides meaningful protection to the customer. Based on my experience, I'm very disappointed with both the quality of the work and the after-service support.

Both bedrooms get a lot of afternoon sun and are consistently warm. The first crew spent a full day drilling holes, adding insulation, and patching the walls. Before leaving, they told me everything had gone great. Unfortunately, photos I took with a thermal camera suggested that more than half of the areas had not been properly filled. You could even feel the temperature difference by touching the insulated sections versus the areas that appeared to have been skipped. I contacted the company, sent photos, and was told someone would come out to investigate and resolve the issue ASAP. Instead, about a week passed with little communication. Once I started following up, I felt like I was being passed around. They even sent the sales representative back out, and he said he wasn't sure why he had been sent. Eventually, project manager Julio arranged for another crew to come out the following week. When that crew arrived, they quickly realized the work was more extensive than they had been told. I wanted the affected walls redone so I could be confident the insulation was installed correctly. Julio initially told me it could be another month before they could return--even though a month had already passed since the original installation. I told him that wasn't acceptable, but that I would be flexible to help get the job completed. Shortly afterward, he called back to say there had been a cancellation and that he would send his best team. Victor and Carlos arrived the next day, and they deserve a lot of credit. After drilling additional holes, they confirmed what I had suspected: the original crew had left some wall cavities completely empty. Victor and Carlos filled the walls properly, did excellent patchwork, and thoroughly cleaned up. Their workmanship and attention to detail were far better than what I experienced with the first crew. They clearly took pride in their work, and it showed. Now that the work is complete, the insulation is making a noticeable difference. The bedrooms are cooler, and I'm seeing wall temperatures approximately 15-20 degrees lower than before. Overall, I'm happy with the final result, but getting there took far more time and follow-up than it should have. Victor and Carlos turned the experience around.
